I am giving this 1-star rating because my repeated requests for updates have been ignored by the team.
I contacted customer support multiple times regarding my order but received no meaningful or reliable response. One of the representatives, Mr. Kevin, assured me that the order would be delivered by the end of the week and that the status would be updated in the app. Unfortunately, neither of these commitments was fulfilled. At this point, those assurances seem to have been made merely to end the conversation rather than provide an accurate update.
The order was originally scheduled for delivery on 5 June, and it is now 17 June with no clear communication regarding its current status or expected delivery date.
Mr. Kevin informed me that there had been unforeseen circumstances, such as logistics issues or an accident, and I was understanding and empathetic about the situation. However, the complete lack of transparency and the inconsistent information provided since then make it difficult to trust the updates being shared. As a customer, I expect honest communication and timely updates, especially when delays arise.
I have been reaching out through emails, only to receive responses stating that my ticket has been resolved when the issue clearly remains unresolved. When I try to contact support through the customer chat, it consistently shows that the team is unavailable. Even Mr. Kevin, whom I had to contact directly because of the lack of support from the Pepperfry team, has stopped responding. At this point, I feel I have been left with no option but to share my experience publicly.
This rating reflects my experience with the handling of this order and the poor customer support I have received. I hope the issue is resolved promptly, and I will be happy to revise my rating if meaningful action is taken and transparent communication is restored.
30K wasted on defective product
Wood borer larvae take 2-5 years to become beetles and start eating through wood. I bought a solid sheesham unit from pepperfry for 30,000 rupees. In 18 months, despite excellent care, it showed wood borer damage. Even though the product was under warranty for 3 years, they refused to accept any responsibility for the wood borer damage. Their carpenter inspected the piece and himself suggested that the company should provide a refund. I have no such infestation in any other wood furniture and have isolated the product to avoid a full-blown infestation in my house.
A 30,000 rupee solid sheesham unit which should last many, many years, was manufactured with improperly treated wood and the loss is only mine.

The shoe cabinet I purchased arrived damaged. Instead of resolving the issue, they simply sent me an email saying the case had been closed without doing anything.
For my sofa, I requested Sunday delivery through WhatsApp and they agreed. However, I kept receiving calls asking for weekday delivery. Then the promised Sunday delivery was postponed, and they claimed that I had approved the change when I had not. The sofa still has not been delivered, yet cancellation is not allowed.
Please, please do not buy from this company.

Promises about delivery timeline not kept. Order cannot be cancelled, nor can the delivery be postponed. Customer service apologises but gives no resolution. Also refuses to provided contact details to escalate. Avoid this untrustworthy platform. Money rather than customer service seems to be the priority.

Extremely disappointed with my experience with Pepperfry.
I purchased a glass stand in January, and after waiting nearly a month for delivery, the product arrived damaged. I initially requested a replacement, but was later informed that the item was no longer available and that a refund would be processed instead.
The real issue started after that. Despite repeated follow-ups over the last two months, there has been no proper resolution from the customer support or grievance team. The communication has been poor, and no one has taken ownership of the issue.
Part of my payment was made through GPay and the remaining amount through ICICI reward points. While Pepperfry agreed to refund the GPay portion, they want to return the ICICI reward points amount as Pepperfry credits. This is unacceptable, especially when the product was delivered in a damaged condition.
As a customer, I expect either:
• A full refund to the original payment sources, or
• A complete refund through bank transfer.
It is frustrating that a simple refund request for a damaged product has remained unresolved for more than two months. Customers should be aware of the level of after-sales support and grievance handling they may experience.
I am still waiting for Pepperfry to provide a fair resolution.

I am still waiting for the remaining components of my order, despite multiple follow-ups. The company appears to have no streamlined process for ensuring that orders are delivered completely and on time.
I would strongly advise potential customers to think twice before purchasing from Pepperfry. In my experience, the quality of the product delivered was far below what was advertised. The company promises branded, high-quality products but delivers products that appear to be of inferior, local quality. The overall build quality is poor and does not justify the price paid.
This purchase has resulted in a waste of both time and money. Until Pepperfry improves its product quality, delivery management, and customer service, I cannot recommend it to others.

Hi team, I am not sure how pepperfry customers care is unable to process refund since a month. They have been sending the same email again and again with no approvals. Pepperfry team has accepted that parts sent were wrong and refund should be initiated. But after that they are delaying the process since a month? Very disappointing experience with Pepperfry. We raised a genuine termite complaint under warranty, but instead of proper resolution, we were provided with a replacement table of much lower quality than the original product.
The finishing, quality, and durability were completely different. We expected better service from such a reputed brand, but the entire process caused unnecessary inconvenience and frustration.
Customers invest their hard-earned money expecting quality and trustworthy after-sales service. Sadly, our experience has been the opposite. Even local market furniture has turned out to be more reliable than this replacement product.

I recently bought Osamu Solid wood single bed on 4th of May 2026. got delivered on the 2nd day. ie 6th may
Promptly assembly was done on the 3 rd day on 7th May.
On 14th May, when my 22 year old son who weighs hardly 60 kg was sleeping on it,suddenly the base board sunk in, my son fell inside, spraining the neck.
For the last 1 week I am trying to talk to people, no one comes on line. I get a automated message, tried chatting, some faceless human keeps giving the same answer , issue will be resolved in the next 3 or 4 days.
Agter 4 days the same carpenter who done the assembly came for inspection , says that part was fixed at the factory and he is not responsible for the mishap.
Now I am asked to wait for some more days,
I am asking them to refund my money, take back the damaged product.
Since I am not getting any constructive solution, planning to serve a legal notice , with a medical report.
Please dont buy these products.
