Update: nach deutlichem Protest meinerseits haben sie mir tatsächlich die 69,99 Euro zurück überwiesen. Das ist jedenfalls positiv. Mein Rat trotzdem: vor Abschluss die AGBs schauen und bei Zweifeln lieber nicht kaufen.....Zunächst ist mir nämlich auch das gleiche passiert wie den meisten hier: Es wurden die 99 Cent abgebucht, danach 69,99 Euro. Ich hatte zuvor keine Information über ein etwaiges Abonnement bekommen, kein Widerrufsrecht, keine Bestellbestätigung. Zum Inhalt des Style-guides kann ich nichts sagen, da ich ihn nicht benutzt habe.

I got stoled for 69.99€ and for now no refund is offered. They are not accepting the trying period and they are cancelling the EU right of retractation. Very illegal, never give them your money even 0.99€.

Scam!!! They ask 0.99 euro's for a trial but they take full amount, in my case 69.99 without authorisation. Customer service denies there is a trial. Don't give your creditcard details!!

A lot of people have lost their money due to this scam. No one get their money back (unless they use PayPal). I think most people here are Fashion Guru's victims.

You can't take your money back. But this is what you can do to TAKE THIS SCAM DOWN:

REPORT IT. Go to their Facebook page or Instagram Page, hit Report for scam. Ask your friends and family to join you report the scam.

With enough reports, Facebook and Instagram will not allow them to run another advertise or they may shut down this scammer page.

If you still want to do something more. Here's the guide:
1. Report them with web hosting / domain provider to shut them down. Go to who.is, enter their domain address. Then contact their provider.
2. Report to the Cypriot Cyber-crimes unit. The police has a website where you can fill the information.
3. Better deactivate your card as this scam already has your card details. Consider Re-Issue your card.

I know you're sad and angry. But you can do so much more to make this scammer pay their price.

Don't be stupid! I unfortunately was charged almost 70usd jus now. I'm so mad at myself that I didn't read what everyone is saying earlier. Unfortunately paid with my credit card, so don't think can do anything about it. Just don't know how to stop them from future scams and potential future taking money from my card?? Pls be super careful and don't trust this!

Scammers..Be extremely cautious. They literally stole from me 71.00 euros. A payment I never authorised .

This scammer is committed to their fashion facade. From their fake fashion reviews to the countless times the website use words like, 'safe, secure, money back guarantee, satisfaction, promises.' I should have known better when a website keeps telling you it's super safe, 100% guaranteed and they are incredibly trustworthy... Now I know why they try so hard to present themselves as legitimate. When you try to cancel the trial within 3 days, they will keep trying to tell you to stay and delay you until the end of the 3 days. You have to email them to cancel your trial instead of a simple tickbox on any other legitimate website. Then they will charge you the full quarterly or annual subscription that you never agreed to pay. A large sum of money for fake digital goods. Then they tell you it's unrefundable and there's nothing you can do about it, since they included it in their terms and condition that they made up. It doesn't matter what dodgy policies they try to hide behind to justify their illegal practices. A scammer is a scammer. Don't let a scammer scare you or intimidate you. Report them to PayPal, your bank, Cyprus cyber crimes unit if you know how. Spread the news.

Be very careful with your credit card details.

The website tells you it’s only cost 0.99 USD for trial. And when you enter your credit card details, boom, they charged you 49.99 USD or whatever amount of money they decided.

They did sent me my refund, shortly after my complain and threatening to report them with Facebook and police.

They haven't fix the "mistake" on their website though. So be very careful. Consider re-issue your card to prevent new subscriptions from them in the future.

Absolute scam - do NOT give them your credit details. Promises of a free trial and no customer service to cancel when they request an email cancellation. Continual arguments to maintain your subscription and still no cancellation or refund even though all terms to their own policy have been met.

How they are still in operation is genuinely suprising. Any advice on how to close down this website with US governing officials is welcome!

My experience was similar to everybody. I wrote to them and they gave me the same answer. Since I paid with paypal, I wrote to them too. On top of all the other documents, I sent them a link to this page of trust pilot. Paypal gave me a refund the next day. I have to say I am pretty much impress with Paypal, on that one...

I should have read these reviews rather than impulsively clicking on a social media ad. THIS IS A SCAM
They say it’s 0.99€ for a 3 day trial with a renewal of 69.99€. I add my PayPal, the sum in the payment page was 0.0€ so I thought maybe it was just validating my payment information. Next thing you know they’ve taken 69.99€! And all I get is a dumb generic PDF for frigging 70€!

I emailed them, because before buying they also had these pretty banners about satisfaction guarantee and money back… ALL BS, they reply to my email that I won’t give any money back, I can get a discount to buy more useless PDFs from them.

Edit: I just saw that they even bother to reply to these reviews. I had indeed communicated with them via that email, that is where they said they won’t give refunds and that they don’t have free trials and offered a discount for further shopping, I replied that I want my money back, they replied offering a lifetime membership, I replied I want my money back, they reply they’ll forward it to the appropriate department. I sent all the information to PayPal and they got me my money back.

I subscribed for a trial last week and it was neve my intention to stay with them as their subscription is way too pricey. I just wanted to check what it was about and made sure I cancel my subscription before the end of my trial.
I thought it was already dodgy the fact that to cancel it you have to email compare to other companies where the cancellation process is straight foward! I received an email telling me they will process my request then another email saying they're sad to see me go asking to explain why I wanted to go but I didn't realise I had to reply to get my cancellation accepted as it doesn't clearly say and I didn't see it before. Then I saw they took £69.99 from my account when I really can't afford that. Now I emailed them few times but they keep replying saying they're sad to see me go and that they can't give my money back and trying to force me to stay with them as a discounted rate when all I want is my money back. So we're just going back and forth with no resolution and as if they are not receiving my request and just want to keep my money. I feel cheated and scammed! I have contacted the fraud department of my bank to see if there could be a way to get my mon back so they are now investigating the matter. So disappointed to go through this and also their service and product wasn't even all that.

This is a scam. I paid 99 cents from Facebook for a PDF fashion guide. There was no indication at any time that I would be charged a $69.95 recurring fee. Do not deal with this fraudulent company.

This is an absolute scam! They made a subscription plan and took my money without my consent.

Same issue, payed 0.99 and charged me over $90 without notice and for a “Voluntary Refund” they require u to send pictures of urself in their trash recommended guidebook styles.

TOTAL SCAM!! Just charge you without notice, no unsubscribe option, i didn't even know what i have subscribed!! Rediculous! All starting from the 0.99 download, 3 days later charge you 69.99. I cannot even find my subscription record. DONT EVEN TRY TO GET THAT 0.99 DOWNLOAD!!!

Purchased the $0.99 digital download on 6th April and then charged me $69.99 on 8th April without even notifying me that I will "renew" my subscription which I didn't even consented to!

I was baffled who charged me $69.99 without notifying and Paypal receipt said it was from MOBAPPS. I didn't purchased anything from MOBAPPS so I emailed them and also contacted yhem via their website but no response or even acknowledgment that they've received my email! So I contacted Paypal to refund me the money they charged me and I saw that the email of this seller is PERSONAL FASHION GURU (paypal@personalfashionguru) which is far from what is their company name (MOBAPPS). Then it all made sense to me that this company that ILLEGALLY charged me is this scammer that I just downloaded for $0.99! HORRIBLE!!!
