My first experience ordering from Petite Studio NYC was great. I ordered two skirts, and I was so excited when they arrived—and they did not disappoint. Both pieces were beautiful, and the material felt very luxurious.

Finally found clothes for my height, also the quality is super!

I love that they have styles that I have never been able to wear before. The wool pleated skirt is beautifully made, high quality, and looks amazing.
There are models in multiple heights and weights which I appreciate. Customer service is responsive.

I was thrilled to discover a brand dedicated to petite women and purchased five pieces from their winter collection. I ordered my usual size. Shipping was quick, and the clothing was nicely packaged. My first order also included a tape measure and instructions for taking measurements. Since receiving my orders, I have had to exchange two pieces for different sizes. The process was easy and I received my exchanges quickly. One of the pieces also went on sale during the exchange, and I was given a price adjustment when I reached out to customer service. The company used AI to respond to my initial message about the price adjustment, but that message was followed by one from an employee confirming I would receive an adjustment. The refund appeared in my account in just a few days.
The quality of the clothing is excellent and the pieces fit my 5’4” frame very well. I needed to size down on the sweaters and coat. I really like the attention to detail in all of the styles. The pieces are unique. Overall, I’m very pleased with this brand and look forward to their new releases.

The customer service responded within 3 minutes and was very friendly to talk to about anything related to products, purchase, and the Petite Studio.

Great quality, quick shipping and quick customer service

Really love a lot of pieces- it's hard to find petite clothing that fit and are modern. I always get compliments and my tall sisters wish they could get the pieces. One caveat is that I wish the exchanges did not require me to cover shipping.

High quality product, received pants in time.

I bought some jeans to try on thinking that I could return them. It turns out that one of the jeans I bought, the Odilia mid rise jeans that were $165.00 -I cannot return because they are a final sale!!! I would never have bought $165.00 jeans that I cannot return!!!! It did NOT indicate that they were a final sale when I bought them!!

I ordered the grey merino wool coat with the scarf, the brown shearling jacket, the pencil denim skirt and the brown corduroy pants. For context, I’m 4 foot 11 inches, and weigh 115, and ordered all items in a Small. The pants were naturally a SMIDGE too long, the fit wasn’t snug there was room in the pants. The shearling jacket fit bigger than expected and bigger than what it looked on the model, the grey coat was also looser and bigger than I would have liked. The quality of the clothes were very nice, I haven’t had a chance to officially wash any of the items to see how they will hold up after a delicate wash, but from the initial impression, I did like the quality. I didn’t like that the pencil skirts grommet or the button came broken. I ordered this from NYC, and I’m currently in Australia, so getting it delivered took like two months and then having to ship it back would have been a nightmare. I reached out to see what they would do for a product that cost me 115 dollars and came in less than perfect conditions and was immediately disappointed. I was conversing with a very condescending AI that just repeated everything I said and essentially asked me to fix it, and then gave me sewing instructions. Then finally my email reached a person and they refunded me 30 dollars to buy a kit to fit the broken button… their prices are not modest for items to come faulty, so if your not close enough to return the items in the case they come bad, then maybe don’t order from them. Also, other than the length of the products I wasn’t impressed with the “petite” features, like the shoulder width was still to widen etc etc. I’m not sure if I could strictly call this petite approved, but never the less, at least the length is modified.

The coat is gorgeous. I love the color, it fits beautifully, and it's so thoughtfully made. I wish the pockets were sewn differently so they didn't have an odd shape on the inside, which cuts into the amount of space.

My package was a bit delayed and customer service were very friendly and gave me an update.

I bought the cardigan (Brayden Alpaca Cardigan - Ginger) from Australia online. I unexpectedly did not like the back of the buttons which were not shown in the photos online. Additionally, the fabric is itchy to my skin. I went into Australian Post and paid AUD $29.00 to mail it back to the US. I had to report the cardigan as under USD $100.00 (real cost was USD $175.00) because of Trump's tariffs. The cardigan was mailed it back to my home address because it was rejected to enter the US under Trump's new policy. This whole experience made this purchase not worthwhile. I had to spend extra time to compare online, fit measurements, figured out how to fill a return form, went into the Australian Post in person, filled the local and international return forms (miscommunication with AU post staff), and paid extra so it could be eventually delivered back to me again. Time worths much more than this.

Clothes are lovely but returns are difficult and refund process is too slow.

I recently ordered a lovely coat (Carina in gray). The order arrived quickly, and I love the coat. I struggled before to get a coat that fit comfortably and didn't overwhelm my short frame. I am anticipating getting a few more items since the sizing has been so great. Great quality and lots of fun styles!

Beautiful and well made pieces that grab the eye but also exude class. I've placed multiple orders including a few exchanges and returns (just due to the nature of online shopping!) and have never had any issues. Occasionally a piece will lean too polyester heavy for my tastes but I under stand that synthetics can be necessary for garment structure and also to keep COGS down but I usually end up avoiding those unless they're heavily discounted. I also appreciate Petite Studio's transparency and focus on paying workers ethically, which is much more important than fabric composition!

I am a petite woman, and it has been quite hard to find the right size for me when shopping for clothes. However, after encountering this brand, everything has changed. I love their pieces, and they are the perfect size for me. So far, I have ordered a couple of sweaters as well as a jacket, and I LOVE IT. I have recently placed an order from Black Friday sale on their Carter Corduroy Down Jacket and Carina Wool & Silk Scarf Coat, and I cannot wait to receive them!
