The picifun alijoz 400 is great for catfishing. It is a high quality reel that casts great and very powerful even with 8:1 ratio. It will even cast a 3/4 oz crank bait well, maybe not as well as my curado 150 but distance is probably about 80% of what my curado will do even though the 400 is not designed for small crank baits. Get the 8:1 ratio it’s great with massive power.

First rod I bought and used it 1 time and it was replaced within 4 day. The combo is an excellent rod and reel. Not only do they work well together they are beautiful to look at. Thank you for this amazing combo

Reel looks quality. Reading reviews decided on 1000 series. Turns out reel is quite small. Should have ordered the next size up for south tx inshore.
Update: I have used this reel twice now. Very smooth. Handled a 21" redfish just fine. I am just use to a little bigger body reel. No disappointments.. I will keep fishing it. Great for finess fishing flounder...

I love the product I could be a advocate Iin my town word of mouth is everything I let people I don't even know try out my carbon x reel and they love it one young man said he was getting one we do a lot of trout fishing and the reel is flawless so I bought my older brother one for his birthday he loves it so thank you once again . All carbon x and carbon X2 reels are as good as it gets and are better than reels costing triple their price and the drags haven't failed yet and have been put to the test.

the fly reel drag system just stumps me. I tighten up the drag which affects reeling in, but the lines just flows off the reel even when the drag is tight. whats up with that?

I made a purchase of a battery for my electric reel that was the wrong item. Called to explain the issue and they sent me a return label to ship it back. No questions asked!

I was very unhappy that I could not contact anyone to physically speak to in reference to placing my order and obtaining information. I gave up in desperation, expecting I would have to return my items if anything was incorrect assuming I could get a refund. Very unpleasant experience. This company desperately needs 800 customer phone support that is reliable. I left repeated messages per the message system with never receiving a single response. Unacceptable service.

i received both rod and reel. the only problem i had they shipped separately. i only had tracking number for fedex. but after contacting piscfun.com . i was able to track my reel through usps. so the matter was resolved.
