Hi,

Thank you for your feedback about the anti-reverse switch. We completely understand your preference — it's a very useful feature for many anglers.

The Carbon X II 1000 is designed as an ultra-compact reel for the lightest freshwater fishing, which is why it omits the switch to save weight and size.

To make things right for you, we’ve already provided a prepaid return label. Please send the 1000 size reel back, and we’ll be happy to upgrade your order to a 2000 size reel at no extra cost. This model includes the anti-reverse switch you’d like, along with a slightly larger line capacity.
