Niet in hun val trappen van een proef voor 50 cent. Want zonder een waarschuwing en of aankondiging nemen ze 40 euro van je rekening. Mail gestuurd dat ik dit niet accepteer en het abbonement heb opgezegd, dat ik de credits ook niet heb gebruikt. Willen ze niet terugbetalen. Oplichterij!

Bought the €0.50 trial, which renews into a €39.95 monthly plan unless cancelled within 24h. Support first refused a refund because the service had been “used”, then offered 50%. I insisted on my statutory EU right of withdrawal (14 days; it doesn’t lapse just by using the service) and announced a chargeback via my bank. Result: full refund. Tip for EU users: know your consumer rights and don’t accept a partial refund.

La qualité du rendu est très mauvaise, (normal pour 0,50€)
Mais 3 jours plus tard ma carte a été prélevé de 39,95€ dans un abonnement auquel je n'ai pas souscrit.
En allant sur le site j'ai pu suspendre cet abonnement pour les mois suivants mais j'ai quand même perdu 39,95€....

Tempting promises that weren't kept!! I ended up with an image that was smaller and of lower quality than the original. No purchase invoice. No response from support.

Extremely misleading pricing. The site advertised 50 cents per photo, but this turned out to be a trial that quietly enrolled me into a subscription. Without any warning or clear notice, they charged 40 euros to my card. There was no upfront disclosure that the 50-cent offer was actually a trial leading to a recurring charge. This kind of hidden billing is unacceptable. I would not recommend this service to anyone. Be very careful before entering your card details here.

It became a habit these websites get your information as if you will use their service, and only after account creation you see a fee to pay. And there isn't even a button to delete your account, you have the email their customer support, what the hell is this? Horrible.

Scam website. Thought I was paying $0.50 for a trial and got charged $40. No way to contact them, no refunds, etc. Lesson learned...

Should have checked reviews! Deceptive billing practices and they refuse to refund or abide by the legal cooling off period.

I just got ripped off thinking I had signed up for the trial period only. Instead I was hit with a full annual charge. Stay away.

Same as other mentioned below. Stay away from this website. Will charge you 50 cent only for a 3 day trial period of 3 days and wont let you know at that point that they will charge you 40 Euros after the 3 day trial period ends and you do not cancel your subscription and I have seen many other websites like this. Careful.

One star, and honestly I'd give zero if I could. The results are absolute garbage, and the business model is incredibly shady. They advertise a "50 cent trial," but buried in the fine print is the fact that they'll charge you 40 euros once the trial period ends. For that kind of money, you could just get a proper tool with a real monthly subscription instead. Stay away.

Ich habe PixUPscale für die Bearbeitung eines Bildes ausprobiert und extra die 3-tägige Testphase gebucht. Leider war ich mit dem Ergebnis und den Möglichkeiten der Bearbeitung sehr unzufrieden, sodass ich den Dienst nicht weiter nutzen wollte und die Kündigung bzw. Verlängerung aus den Augen verloren habe.

Nach Ablauf der 3 Tage wurden mir direkt 40 € abgebucht. Ich habe den Support kontaktiert und erklärt, dass ich mit dem Dienst nicht zufrieden war, da es nur wenige Optionen zur Bildbearbeitung gab und ich den Service nicht weiter nutzen möchte. Eine Rückerstattung wurde jedoch abgelehnt. Stattdessen wurde mir angeboten, den Dienst noch 30 Tage zu nutzen – was für mich leider keinen Mehrwert hat.

Schade, denn so bleibt ein sehr enttäuschender Eindruck. Ich kann den Dienst daher leider nicht empfehlen. Achtet unbedingt darauf, die 3-tägige Testphase rechtzeitig zu kündigen, sonst werden direkt 40 € fällig.

Poor quality. It isn't capable of upscaling and exporting hi-res images. I should've read the reviews before trying it.

First, the quality of this tool is really not up to the task : it does not upscale correctly at all.
Second, they clearly try to trap you into their short trial, and make it very unclear on their website the rules of cancelation and found a pseudo loophole not to apply the 14 day refund policy.
Worse : they tell you that if you have tried the tool once, you cannot be refunded for the automatic renewal.
As soon as you start paying 40€ / month for the normal subscription, they will not give you a refund. Doesn’t matter if you write them an email same day and you never used the service in any way.
