Was given a Citroen C3 with brake pads worn out . Metal to metal noise when braking and the clutch was slipping . Glad we only had it for 1 day . Won’t use them again .

Super experience, collection at the Airport very easy and friendly, great little car and quite new , overall a great experience and will definitely use again.

We went on holiday recently to Playa blanca in the south of the island of Lanzarote, and to see the sights of the island we decided to hire a car, with there being a few different places to hire from, we chose a hire company that had a lot of car stickers on that we seen driving around us on our first day, and thought if all these people are using them they must be good. So we went to our nearest hire place and we met a really nice man called Lewis, he made it so easy , no complications, not even a deposit, just paid up for the week, signed the paper , scanned our driver licences, and away we went. I would definitely go back and get a car off Lewis again

Das Fahrzeug wurde bereits letztes Jahr reserviert um einen guten Preis zu erhalten.
Das wurde auch alles eingehalten.
Aber:
Es wird kein Hotelservice mehr angeboten - man muß also u.U. mit dem Taxi erst zu dem Büro, das via Email benannt wird. Schlüssel Rückgabe muss am gleichen Ort erfolgen.
Es ist in den letzten Jahren öfter vorgekommen, das daß Fahrzeug ganz wo anders steht. Man bekommt eine Straße benannt und darf dann suchen.
Technisch sind die Fahrzeuge auch wirklich schlecht geworden. Stark verschmutzte Sitze, defektes Radio und Warnmeldung zu geringem Ölstand oder zur defekten Reifendruck-Kontrolle sind mittlerweile offenbar Standard.
Das interessiert die Mitarbeiter auch nicht!

Vor einigen Jahren war das noch anders!

Aktuell ist es auch so das man ein Fahrzeug 12 Monate im Voraus anfragen kann - bekommt dann aber nur eine Mitteilung das alle Fahrzeuge bereits reserviert sind.

Do NOT use. They took 300 euros from my credit card after I had left the island. The car was damaged after I had parked it. I had told them already about 1 incident. But someone had scratched the car. Despite this, their terms state fully insured. !? 300 euros out of my credit card so be warned !!

Pluscar Puerto del Carmen. Goed geregeld, vriendelijke medewerkers. Geen verrassingen, vaste prijs.

Tried to book online with PLUSCAR LANZAROTE, but I only got a reply email accepting my “reservation”.
With no confirmation, I rang the following day but the phone was not answered with no option to leave s message.
Over 24 hours later I got an email to say they had no cars available! By that time I had booked a car with another company.

Wir haben in Puerto del Carmen ein Auto gemietet. Die Abwicklung lief gut. Wir mussten bei der Abholung etwas warten, weil das Auto wohl noch in der Wäsche war. Davon war allerdings nicht viel zu sehen. Abgabe des Schlüssels erfolgte problemlos über einen Briefkasten.
Einen guten Monat später wurden einfach 30 Euro abgebucht. Auf Nachfrage erfuhren wir, das das für die Fahrerermittlung war, da es einen Bußgeldbescheid gab. Dieser wurde uns dann von der Autovermietung zugeschickt. Hier mussten wir feststellen, das der Bussgeldbescheid vom 14.10.2024 war, wir hatten das Auto aber vom 11.11.-16.11.2024 gemietet. Dieses haben wir auch dorthin geschrieben und seitdem keine Antwort mehr erhalten. Natürlich kam im Januar ein offizieller Bußgeldbescheid dann auch zu uns. Und hier wird es dann schwierig für jemanden, der nur wenig Spanisch kann, da sich das nicht mal eben per E-Mail klären lässt.
Fazit: Wir fahren jedes Jahr 1-2 Mal auf die Kananaren. Bei dieser Autovermietung mieten wir kein Auto mehr.

We booked a car for the next day. The booking request was confirmed, but the booking itself was neither confirmed nor rejected. When we were already on our way to the pick-up point on foot, we were told 6 minutes beforehand - literally outside the office - that there were no vehicles available.

Wir hatten in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, gebucht.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis empfanden wir als sehr passend.
Alles wurde recht einfach abgewickelt. Es musste für unseren PKW Typ keine Kaution hinterlegen. Das Auto war sehr sauber und hatte circa 23.000 km. Nach der Mietzeit konnte es problemlos in der Nähe der Agentur auf einem freien Platz abgestellt werden (der Schlüssel wurde in einen Briefkasten eingeworfen).

Der Service in der Agentur war äußerst kompetent und freundlich.

Wir buchen das nächste Mal definitiv wieder.

Pour la deuxième fois, location impeccable, pas de discussions, confiance totale réciproque. On prend la voiture on part, on revient, on la dépose et basta ! Pas de chichis, pas de photos ou pas d'état des lieux du véhicule, etc. Une confiance totale et aveugle. Tous les clients rencontrés sont tous très satisfaits !!!

Nous avons eu une très bonne expérience avec PlusCar sur Lanzarote . Nous avons loué un véhicule 7 places (VW Caddy) pour moins de 200 euros pour 5 jours à l’agence de Playa Blanca !!!! Prix défiant toute concurrence . Aucune mauvaise surprise véhicule en très bon état 13000 kms
