Superb range and excellent advice.
Superb range of seed potatoes with great descriptions. So pleased that they are available in small quantities as well as large. Excellent advice on all aspects of growing potatoes… and they follow up at the relevant time after despatch with information on chatting, planting, harvesting etc.
Since finding this company I buy seed potatoes only from them.

Thank you so much for mentioning the follow-up advice! This is a new optional service that we are providing to customers and we are glad it is appreciated!
We're here for any questions over the growing period - we hope you get a great harvest

Resposta da Potato House
Bank holidays - love them when sitting in the sun ...loath them when we have orders to go out! We don't dispatch over holidays so the seed potatoes are not in transit longer than they need to be. Thank you for you understanding on that!
We hope you get a great potato patch. we're here to help
Meaningless reviews are meaningless
It is not possible to give any meaningful review for this product. The seed potatoes were delivered. I will be able to say more when they have produced a crop!

Resposta da Potato House
Reviews are generally given for the service and goods up to that point, not what might happen in the future and so this 3* review is unusual, but none-the-less I appreciate the time taken to write us the review.
The review might be more meaningful if you were to mention aspects of our business that have been good up till now - for example speed of delivery and quality of the goods.
The next part of this experience is up to you not just the seed potatoes that have been delivered!
However, we are here to help you get a great crop and don't just leave you now. We are here to help you - and for that crop to gain the extra 2*
Do you know that if you sign up for our newsletter you will get snippets of advice sent to you individually timed to your order? We're here over email and social media as well for any questions you may have.
Please note that beasties and blight may get in the way of a good crop - and so the elusive extra 2* is out of our hands. Other factors such as weather and soil will contribute to the success of your crop,
We look forward to updates of your season - and of course an updated review in the summer!
Resposta da Potato House
Thank you! That will hopefully continue - we are here all season if you have any growing questions. I hope you get a great potato patch.

Your customer service is an absolute joy in this day and age and much appreciated.

Hooray! Scottish seeds for a Scottish climate
We've been getting potato seeds from Potato House for a few years now. It's great to get seeds of quality and suitable for our Scottish climate. The interesting range of different organic older varieties is great.
Fingers crossed for a good potato growing season!

Thank you for highlighting our range! We are proud of the number of varieties that we bring to the gardens and allotments. Fingers crossed - but if that doesn't work, we're here to help over the season. I hope you get a great potato patch.
A great company
My potatoes arrived very quickly. On opening, I noticed one potato was damaged. I emailed photos and asked it the damaged potato could cause issues for the others on the net. I was given good advice and I was sent a replacement bag of potatoes, which also arrived quickly. Customer service were very helpful and friendly.

Valued small customer
Ordering and delivery were as good as usual. Informative email when I identified the drop in size of tubers from previous years.
Even though I’m a small consumer I’m made to feel valued as part of the potato house family. Rare nowadays!

Thank you for leaving a review mentioning our range of organic seed potatoes and their quality.
I'd like to address your comments about being expensive and late in the season to buy. Our prices remain the same throughout the season and we do not put them up if other places are sold out (we have late season potatoes and these will have a premium when we start to see these in June).
I had a look at your order and you ordered several varieties, getting two x 6 tuber nets of each variety. For info, we also sell in 1kg nets and this would be cheaper per tuber. You can pick the net size on a drop-down menu at checkout.
As you have mentioned your varieties are organic and as the leading grower and supplier of organic seed potatoes in the UK, we know that our prices are in line with other retailers for all varieties. Remember - our prices include delivery so can appear more expensive.
This is our busiest period just now and so you certainly are not late in purchasing your seed potatoes.
Yield can be affected by many things (weather, blight and beasties!) and we're here to help at all stages. Please let us know if you have any questions over the growing period by email or by tagging us on social media.
Chits away! I hope you get a great potato patch

Potatoes were delivered very quickly and were in good condition. I expected more actual potatoes though but hey … they’re ‘heritage’, wish the price was too 😂

Resposta da Potato House
Thank you for your review highlighting our quick delivery and good quality.
However, I am not sure what you mean when you say that you "expected more actual potatoes" I have looked at your order and you bought 2 x 6 tuber nets. Did you get 12 tubers or were some missing? Was the parcel damaged? If so, please email amy@potatohouse.co.uk and we can look into this for you.
We sell most of our seed potatoes in a variety of pack sizes: 6 tubers/1kg/10kg/25kg. The customer picks the size via a drop-down menu on the variety page. We advise that the customer checks this on their confirmation note.
We're here all season to help you - heritage potatoes need no extra care and we're sure you will get a great harvest.
