I ordered black speakers and they sent white! The excuse was that the computer sends white out when black is out stock and no apology, I reckon they were hoping I'd just keep white. The mistake meant I had to take a day off work to wait for the courier to pick it up

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Both the invoice and delivery notes clearly stated that the speakers were ordered in the white colour and therefore these were picked for dispatch. Yes the website can default to white if stocks are out in black but this can be changed in the cart at the time of order. We will look to address this with our website providers going forward.
We are glad that we could collect the incorrect speakers and supply the correct black speakers very quickly.
We apologise for the inconvenience that has been caused and the time taken off work in order for DPD to collect the incorrect speakers.
Very prompt and as shown.

The staff know their products really well and provide accurate advice. The staff are very helpful and kept me updated on my order whilst they awaited new stock which only took 1 day for my items to arrive. I would have no hesitations using this company in the future and thankfully there are still companies around like this one that provide a great service.

Paid for my item but was told would be delayed for a couple of weeks, I wasn't able to wait so was sent a polite email saying they would send me a refund . I was refunded very quickly.

Sonos Mini Sub - 2nd purchase
Second time in using PB to bulid on my home cinema kit with Sonos equipment. Site is great and clear, best price at the time, discount codes available, quick efficient delivery...and as always, very helpful. Bit of a faff and fuss when checking out so for me this is the only minor negative to try improve on...though swiftly sorted in a few minutes of calling customer services.

Disappointing performance
Powerbuttton accepted and confirmed my order and then wrote to say they couldn't honour it. The website also strongly implied that I needed to buy a power-lead with the equipment. That was a surprise and turned out not to be true when I obtained the kit from another supplier.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Unfortunately when the order was placed, the item was out of stock which our website should have clearly stated above the "buy now" box. We do allow back orders on selected items and did inform you of the option to receive the order when stocks arrived.
If we were to proceed with the order then we would have highlighted that the power lead was not necessary in this case.
The website makes "generic" recommendations to add additional items to your order. Many items which we sell may require an additional "longer" power cable, particularly for Sonos speakers if they are wall mounted or sited in a location further away from a mains socket.
We apologise for the inconvenience with the order and glad that we refunded the costs in full.
