Great scan, Horrible customer service


The scan itself was excellent. The facility feels premium, the staff was attentive and professional, and the 50-minute MRI was surprisingly comfortable—I even watched a movie during the procedure.

But everything after that has been a frustrating mess.

My results consultation was canceled without any notice. I only found out after sitting in an empty video call for 20 minutes and then calling to ask what happened. Turns out they had "scheduling issues" affecting multiple patients. The soonest they could reschedule me? Two weeks later—February 2nd.

This is an expensive procedure with promised results delivery in 5-10 business days. Making patients wait weeks to discuss potentially important health findings is unacceptable.

When I called, I was offered a $200 refund. When I followed up in writing, that changed to a $200 credit toward a future scan—with the justification that my scan was paid via gift card so they "can't" refund. That's not my problem to solve. A promise was made.

The disconnect between their sleek, premium branding and their actual customer service is stark. For a service at this price point, you'd expect better communication and accountability.

I'll be trying Ezra next time.

We paid them
They cancelled our two appointments as we were about to leave the house claiming
« machine problems »-yet said we could come on later that same day. Since it was a Saturday doubtful a repair person was showing up-possibly their employees just didn’t show for the early appointments.

Fast forward, my husband booked the deluxe testing for several thousand dollars. It was weeks ago-he’s yet to receive the results. Only after threatening to charge them back did they release ONE of many tests done. This is a scam company and process.

Not completely upfront.

They dont tell you when you sign up that it could take up to 5 weeks to get your results. That's a long wait when you're not feeling well to start and are looking at these results for answers.
Makng the initial appointment was a breeze, However, once your MRI is done. Nobody seems to know what happens next. The gentleman that did my MRI told me the girls out front would explain the next steps and then when I got out front "the girls" handed me a packet and told me to call the 800 number and a health ambassador would explain the rest. It was at that point I found out that getting my results could take 4 to 5 weeks. Very disappointing considering what you pay for this. I really wish I would have read reviews on this company first. It really appears to be about getting as many people in those open MRI tubes as possible. The well-being of the patient does not seem to be paramount.

I highly recommend getting a Prenuvo…

I highly recommend getting a Prenuvo scan.
It gave me piece of mind knowing what was going on inside of my body. I am now taking care of the things that needed to be taken care of, so that it doesn’t get worse . The detailed results and speaking to a Prenuvo nurse was the best. It truly was a 5 star experience for me. I definitely will be going back again.

I can't recommend them

I can't recommend them. I know from prior imaging studies that I have fatty liver and a kidney cyst. Neither are serious, but the report missed them both. When I pointed it out to them they revised the report but gave no indication that they had reviewed my scans again. My concern is that if they missed two obvious findings what else did they miss? The whole point of using Prenuvo, at considerable expense, is for early detection and peace of mind. Their service provided neither.

My experience with Prenuvo was life changing!!! I am 40 years old active healthy woman with a demanding career. I began experiencing hair loss and major fatigue, I knew something had changed in my body. After visiting with my primary doctor, multiple blood panels my symptoms continue and I didn't feel like myself. I began doing a ton of research and decided it was time for a full body MRI scan. My scan showed moderate size nodules on my thyroid. I shared my results with my primary care physician, who then referred me to a specialist. The specialist recommended taking a biopsy of all the nodules and two days later I received a phone call that I had thyroid cancer. Today I am cancer free and feeling like me again!!! THANK YOU PRENUVO for helping me find my cancer early!!!

Mixed Experience with Prenuvo Dallas: A Review on Cancer & Disease Screening

I recently visited Prenuvo Dallas for cancer and disease screening, and my feelings about the experience are mixed. On the positive side, the office ambiance was pleasant, and the overall experience was smooth. The staff members were helpful and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that eased any initial apprehensions.

However, my confidence in the effectiveness of the actual scan was significantly undermined. The disappointment stems from the scan's failure to detect several known and expected health issues. Among the missed findings were mild emphysema, scattered 5 mm and smaller pulmonary nodules, moderate calcific coronary atherosclerosis, a type I acromion with moderately severe arthropathy, and significant edema and osteophytosis in my right shoulder. Additionally, the scan failed to identify a torn meniscus in my right knee – conditions that had been confirmed by recent imagery from other sources.

This failure raises significant concerns about the reliability of Prenuvo's screening technology. If the scan couldn't detect these known issues, it leaves me questioning what other potential health concerns might have been overlooked. Having invested around $8,000 in scans, travel, and hotel expenses, the lack of confidence in the report's accuracy is disheartening.

In summary, my experience with Prenuvo Dallas was disappointing. The friendly staff and pleasant office environment couldn't compensate for the critical lapses in the scan's efficacy. I find it challenging to recommend this procedure to others, given the substantial financial investment and the inherent uncertainty surrounding the accuracy of the results. Regrettably, I won't be revisiting Prenuvo Dallas for future screenings, and I caution others against spending their money on an experience that falls short of providing the expected level of trust and confidence in the results.

Don’t do it-huge waste of time…

Don’t do it-huge waste of time radiologists on my scan did not find at least two things that I identified for them in my welcome packet that are very clearly visible on the scans for one month I tried to contact them to identify this failure, and then they tried to modify my online results without designating the fact that it required a second look, I have no faith in any of these results, and I have reported them to the New York State, Attorney General.

Disappointing experience

Prenuvo is a company that provides an MRI scan and reading for a fee (which is quite reasonable at roughly $1,700 CAD for a scan of the head and trunk) and is heavily promoted as a way to catch cancer early. However, on digging deeper, the company appears to put more emphasis on sales and less on providing a professional service in a timely manner.

While looking for information, I came across a site for reviews among sales personnel, some from Prenuvo. There were various comments including the company's emphasis on heavy inbound and outbound sales. (However, most thought Prenuvo was a good company to work for.)

That said, I called to book, and was disturbed to hear, in the recording that preceded speaking to an actual person, that I had reached "inbound sales." Not "patient information or support" but sales... The lady I spoke to said she was in Vancouver, but her manner of speaking and comments suggested strongly that she was part of a recruited service and not in Vancouver. Canadians use different terminology and have different cadence of speech.

The shocker was that one has to wait SIX to SEVEN months to get a Prenuvo scan, and pay 50% at time of booking. That money is returned should one cancel prior to three days before the procedure. However, with the BC government's position on private enterprises/ paid-for health services, I am a little leery of paying so much in advance.

I don't believe this company's aims are totally nefarious but the "early detection" push falls flat on its face when one has to wait almost as long as with a scheduled MRI via the provincial health care system.

The lady I spoke to was doing her job to the best of her ability and was polite but I felt extremely disappointed with the company claims about early detection and the overall impression, based on the "inbound sales" recording.

Also, as soon as I showed interest on their website a month or so ago, I was hit with hard-sell emails from a "Prenuvo ambassador" designed, in part, to make me feel insecure in terms of my wellbeing. (I have been a medical writer with special skills in marketing, for over 35 years, and immediately identified what response the words were designed to generate.) That too seemed overly sales-oriented and rather desperate rather than professional.

Prenuvo, you have a great concept here, but you can do so much better. Maybe start with advising wait time for the scan, instead of the big sell.

To prospective purchasers reading this, please think carefully as I do not wish to put anyone off what could be a lifesaving procedure. Rather, be aware of my observations and do what feels best for you.
