Couldn't place orders and absolutely no communications
After a couple of decent plants ordered a couple of years ago, I tried to place several large orders via their eBay store this year (2024). For some reason their eBay store doesn't work or accept orders - tried to order nearly £800 worth of equipment and plants over the past 8 months, but no joy and therefore hesitant to order via their website (without the protection of eBay) in case of issues/not a genuine site. We ended up using a variety of other reliable providers, which cost a touch more but had mostly great service. Zero response from ProShrimp to eBay messages about the issue or emails via their website asking about ordering. No response seems to be becoming a theme with online aquatics companies. They don't seem to want sales? Maybe they are already rich and don't need the money? Pity as ProShrimp seem to advertise a good range, lots that we needed and they are actually physically located not far away from me. Would love to have posted a positive review but basically I'm disappointed as I've not been able to give them my custom. Now we're adding another 6 very large tanks to our set-up, budgeting for £1500 worth of plants and still the same issues with their eBay site. Giving up and spending money elsewhere.
Items arrived damage, customer services ignored my email letting them know.
I ordered several pond plant baskets ranging from medium to large, the arrived loose in a large cardboard box. The two medium baskets both had cracks on one side.
I emailed customer services to let them know and never received any response.
Would not recommend.

I have ordered from pro shrimp with good results in the past but feel I must comment on the latest effort on my order which has put me off using Pro shrimp again in the future , Having ordered an item of value about £12 yodel tried to deliver but the choice of having it delivered to a safe place was disabled i guess that was set by your company to which i have found nothing on your website to state you do this or i would not have ordered .. So the item was taken back until I was in the next day .If I was not it wouldn't have been left again.I emailed you to say could you ask yodel to leave it to which i had no response to my email at all .It is a shame customer service seems to be low within your company which I find sad as most customers should be repeat customers .After regularly using Pro shrimp for a few years I am afraid I am done .
Trust the negative reviews
The LED lights on the hood of my superfish home 85 developed a fault. Only half the lights come on. At the time the fault manifested I had only owned the aquarium for about 5 months. Despite emailing to say they would order me a replacement, I have heard nothing since. This has been dragging on for the best part of 4 weeks. They ignore emails and you can't get hold of them on the phone. The manufacturer was very helpful and suggested it could be the ballast rather than the lights which are faulty. Alas, a new ballast didn't resolve the issue. As for Pro Shrimp, I'm as much in the dark as my fish are. Awful customer service.
Awful company
Awful company! After spending £150 on tropica plants these cowboys sent me dead plants, all had leafs cut off with remaining leafs going yellow, brown and black! Contact them on the day of delivery hoping they would resolve the issue, week later they haven’t replied and won’t answer their phone! Dont waste your money!
No customer service at all
I've been trying to get in touch with them via website, email, and phone for weeks. I bought an external filter rated for up to 350 liters, but the heater that comes with it is only 200W, which means that I'm struggling to get 22 degrees. I don't know how they have managed to ignored me so far, but I'm not happy with the customer service for a 250£ item. Even the manufacturer got back to me quite quickly and actually mentioned that they spoke with them in regards to this item and authorized an upgrade to the higher model.

I ordered 15 "nerite"snails and got what looked like garden snails that just went to the top of the tank and didn't move!Also on the same order I wanted phyllanthus fluitans but got something that resembled them.Ive messaged them 5 times and left voice messages with no response.Avoid them!

I have had good service from ordering sub straight, rocks, plants, and Co2.
If ever the products I have bought did not meet the correct standards i feel was acceptable I have been refunded the full price or had a rapid replacement sent.

Very poor service DO NOT USE
Very poor service. Originally delivery of the tank was fast and good but tank led lights went within a couple of weeks of set up. Emailed and got a reply back straight away saying it will be a few days for a replacement. Still waiting from the 2nd November. I have sent three follow up emails with no reply and tried to call but just straight to answerphone. Very poor customer service and I feel like I have been conned. I will be reporting to trading standards as the product was not fit for purpose.
Poor quality snails, lack of customer service
I ordered 4 nerite snails from here. When they arrived, 3 of them were a different colour then described, and appeared sickly. I emailed Pro Shrimp with my concerns 3 days later, when the snails didn't appear to have perked up, and I got no response at all.
One of the snails died a week later, and a few weeks later, 2 of the others do not move much and frequently all on their backs. I suspect these won't last much longer either!
I cannot get any customer service from them, even after sending an email and leaving a negative review on their site. They do not appear interested in resolving this. These snails were not cheap either with the courier cost.
I was not a new customer, but will not be using Pro Shrimp again after this.
Faulty Item - Not Believed
Purchased Denerle Nano Filter and installed as per instructions and nothing happened, it's dead. Tried to call company and was repeatedly told my call can not be answered, was not impressed. I have emailed asking to return for refund as I need to purchase a filter locally so I do not want to lose my fish. Am waiting to hear
UPDATE: I returned the faulty item at my own expense and surprise surprise, it worked for them, according to an email I received. I tried this filter 5 times and nothing so I don't believe them, but I guess it's their way of refusing a refund, great policy, huh, calm youe customers liars and refuse to give them their money back, UTTERLY SHAMEFUL. This was not my 1st time purchasing from them, but it will the last

I have been informed that refund was generated for this filter, however, the bio granules I returned (they are useless without the filter) were not considered for refund or the cost of postage I incurred, so I am still out of pocket, which is very dissappointing
