We also appreciate your thoughtful comment about the tea bags. We’re happy to share more information for transparency: our filter tea bags are made from a blend of natural wood pulp and abaca plant fiber, are oxygen-bleached (no chemicals are used in the sanitizing process), and are completely free from plastics and plasticizers.

They are also FDA-, USDA-, and NOP-approved, as well as biodegradable and compostable. In some cases, slight discoloration can occur in flavored blends due to natural citrus-based flavor absorption in the filter material.

Regarding your interest in purchasing items à la carte, such as soups and L-Protein bars, we truly appreciate the suggestion and will be sharing this feedback with our team for future consideration.

We also want to gently share that the reason we recommend following the program as designed is because the Fasting Mimicking Diet was developed based on extensive research. The specific combination of macronutrients, micronutrients, and ingredients across each of the 5 days is carefully calibrated to avoid strongly activating nutrient-sensing pathways, which is what allows the body to enter the fasting-mimicking state while still receiving nourishment.

For this reason, any modifications to the program are generally not recommended, as the clinical benefits observed were based on adherence to the full protocol as studied.

Highly Recommend!

We were pleasantly surprised! We’ve been completing prolonged fasts for years, but we felt miserable and lacked energy during the process and for days afterward. We loved the boost of energy we had during and after the 5-day FMD and how easy the meals were to prepare! We really liked how we were actually able to consume food for all 3 meals a day plus snacks! The best part of our experience has been their customer service who exceeded our expectations. Thank you!

I have tried to cancel this 3 times

I have tried to cancel this 3 times. I am in middle of brain cancer treatment and don't have time to deal with this staff ( 1 want to say crap because it's just one more thing) it will be returned immediately. The company responded wonderfully and have canceled my subscription and we’re able to stop the shipment before I had to return it. I was very grateful.

I do like the next generation 5 day plan. They used to give a sports bottle, but I guess they stopped doing that it was convenient for this plan, but definitely make sure you have a bottle you can mix with before your program. The prolonlife.com website needs some repairs. The website kept crashing on me and the Prolon recommendations quiz does not work. If I was a first time customer I would have never ordered from the website because the site crashing multiple times, but because I’m not a first time customer and I have had a great experience multiple times I must give a 5 star review because I have had a great experience multiple times. Aside from the current state of the website it’s a 5 star experience for me.

I wanted to do express shipping - and was charged $10 twice and have duplicate items.
It’s fine I will use them but the extra $10 is wrong and my discount code as a new customer didn’t work.

The cell rejuvenation was apparent when I exercised the week after my fast. I was able to tackle jogging a hill this I was only able to walk up the weeks before.

I had my 5-Day Prolon shipped to a…

I had my 5-Day Prolon shipped to a delivery point because I’ve had packages stolen from my doorstep at my previous apartment.

Since I travel for work I thought I could get it the week I came home from my trip but I immediately faced a family emergency. Time went by quick and my shipment was returned to Prolon.

I reached out to Prolon’s customer service through email and told them of my dilemma and Yessica replied immediately, issued a case number and asked if I would like a replacement or refund. It was quick, painless and easy because I had Onward Protection.

I have had such great results (10-15lbs each time) that I asked for a replacement. Immediately I had an email from Onward saying the shipment is on the way. I am grateful to Prolon and their customer service team for their human interaction and empathy.

10/10 would recommend.

Mixed results with good progress

I had a bit of a rollercoaster experience. On the positive side, the results were impressive. I lost 4lbs in the 5 day program. However, the side effects were a challenge. I had severe headaches and nausea, with data one and three being particularly difficult. I also struggle with the fish (omega) capsules; the fishy burps and aftertaste were very unpleasant. Given the high price point and the physical intensity of the experience, I don’t see this being sustainable as a regular routine.

Headaches and nausea can occur for some individuals during fasting, especially in the first few cycles, as the body transitions metabolically. This can be related to factors like hydration levels, electrolyte shifts, caffeine changes, and the body adapting to a lower caloric intake. Many people find that these symptoms improve in subsequent rounds as the body becomes more accustomed to the process.

Regarding the omega capsules, we completely understand how unpleasant the aftertaste and “fishy burps” can be. Some customers find it helpful to take them with meals, refrigerate them, or take them later in the day to minimize this effect but we recognize that this can still be a barrier for some.

We also hear your concern around sustainability and cost, and we truly value that perspective. Feedback like yours is incredibly important to us as we continue working to improve both the experience and accessibility of the program.

Great product!

This is round 2 for me. I get the Next Gen package, and the food is tasty. Also, the support that Prolon offers - the daily live webinars, and the email you can use to get questions answered realtime, is most appreciated. My inflammation is down, and I've even lost a few pounds. I'm doing round 3 next month.

These are great resets for busy…

These are great resets for busy lifestyles. It’s a simple and straightforward way to fast. I would say it’s important to consult a doctor before fasting. Especially if you have never fasted and may have health problems. But, I have always found this product to be high quality and helpful when I need a reset.
