Really quick responses. Our survey was completed the same week we booked it and our report was returned earlier than expected also. The surveyor phoned us after the survey to talk through some main findings which was very helpful. The report was really detailed and included photos also.

I got this company recommended by a friend. We bought a house back in in June 2025 and we availed of the service paying the highest package available to ensure that we would get the best out of it. However, with incredible disappointment, they missed to report heavy issues with the roof. The company who changed the gutters (which by the way were signed off on the report as good condition....false), told us that the roof had serious issues just by looking at it and probably required to be done up again from scratch. We were bewildered to find this out! We got other 2 quotes from other companies who as well confirmed that the roof had visible issues. We got in touch with Health check to ask more information on how they could have missed such an important issue with the house and they came back saying that "the inspection was only visual and they could not lift anything". The companies who came to check the roof did a VISUAL inspection and they could all tell the roof had serious issues, they did not lift anything. Even if I came back to them arguing their point and presenting evidence, Health Check never came back to us ever again. Leaving us with no other choice than writing this review. Their incompetence costed us 18k in the first 6months of an house purchase and for a young couple who want to start a family this was and absolute nightmare. DO NOT CHOSE THEM IF YOU WANT TO END UP LIKE US. I hope they will go out of business some day as they deserve!

Super company to deal with. Survey was organised quickly. The communication was excellent and found the findings of the report very informative.

Great service from Property Health Check. I found them prompt, helpful, friendly, and informative. Engineer called on the day and the report was sent to me 2 days later. Would highly reccomend.

A very good experience from start to finish. All of the staff were friendly and efficient. The turnaround was quick and the report was thorough which included lots of photos, there was also a lot of advice given both on the phone and in the report, which I found really helpful. I would absolutely recommend them.

We hired Properth Heath to check a house we wanted to buy. The call out of the engineer and the report was quite quick, however, the engineer missed a broken window, which once you open it, it was imposible to close, he also missed broken tiles in the roof causing leaks, huge dampness issues in one of the kitchen walls and in the upstairs rooms. If he had added those issues to the report, we could have asked the seller to fix those issues before buying the house or we could have asked for a discount.
We had to spend over 3.5K to fix everything the engineer missed.
Very disappointing, specially since the reviews were so good.

Terrible, guy had probably completed an online course during lockdown, failed miserably, cost us approximately €15,000. Forget about complaining or inquiring about the qualifications of the amateurish young man who arrived as a follow up. They sent the SAME GUY to look for a second time 🙈 He was literally posing with a screwdriver prop doing a "blue steel" face. They charge a premium price for a mediocre service. Not experts, and certainly don't seem to be qualified in anything other than the simplest way, certainly have no confidence in the claimed " engineer" status claimed. Asking about the qualifications? You'll be ignored, although if you're reading this you're researching not enquiring after the fact, maybe they'll throw a bit of glitter around or strike a pose with a clipboard or inspire confidence with a manly tool. Avoid , useless clueless and you'll have important obvious things missed, AVOID.
Editing to reply: I don't use my name online, I contacted you, you sent back the blue steel guy who'd gotten a dog recently, young man, doesn't inspire much confidence, needs a screwdriver prop, of course he didn't find fault with his work, you pronounced yourselves experts, I can cut and paste your email if you'd like or you can find me in your presumably thin complaints file?? Go on!! I tried before, now you find me ✌️
