DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT OR FROM THIS SITE. They add in a $29 "free" trial to a PureCut Collective monthly subscription that is hidden in the fine print. Who needs a subscription service for a cutting board?? I wrote in after I noticed it and they did nothing. I am still fighting to have the monthly charge cancelled. Plus, I only received 1 of the 2 boards that were supposed to be included in the order.

UPDATE: THE COMPANY REFUNDED MY MONEY FIR THE CUTTING BOARD & THE SUBSCRIPTION FEES.

I purchased one cutting board, that scratched immediately. Two months later i realized they have been charging me for a subscription of $29 each month. I’m not sure what the subscription is for, since i have not received any addition products or services since my initial purchase. Very dishonest & sneaky. When you read the very fine & hidden print, it states no refunds for the subscription charges. I blocked the company from future purchases.
*They made it right with me. Just beware of subscription fees.

Boards are okay but was signed up to an automatic subscription as others have here. Wish I had read the reviews first. Would not recommend, do not buy! There is nothing in the terms about the subscription. It is a scam! Luckily purchased on credit card so have escalated and reported. Hope others read these reviews before buying!

Total waste of money and they charge fraud charges monthly - no way to cancel. Had to cancel my credit card.

Recurring monthly charge without notice. Cutting 'boards' are average, at best. Don't get caught up in their scam.

I ordered a titanium cutting board from this company. It actually did arrive, and it seems like a decent product. But buyer beware! They sign you up for a bogus subscription that charges you every month and provides no benefit! A month after I bought the cutting board I got charged $29.29 on my credit card for this bogus subscription. You can go to their website and cancel it, but they won't refund your money. They are crooks! Avoid this scam!

Absolute scam. The cutting boards were garbage and 6 weeks later I still cannot get in touch with anyone to return them. No one answers messages, emails, or the phone.

As everyone else said, they sneakily enroll you into a $29 month subscription….(for what I have no idea)…and it’s very hard to cancel. It’s hidden in an email.

Absolutely shambolic business, these guys sign you up for an unwanted ongoing monthly subscription with every single purchase. I've ended up with two seperate additional £22 charges for two memberships I didn't ask for or even know I was signed up for. Scammers of the highest order, avoid doing business with this company at all costs. I'll be reporting them to trading standards and disputing the charges with my bank and MasterCard.

Their bullshit “subscription” scam that I never agreed to is apparently just how they do business. $90 later, I was able to get it cancelled but of course no REFUND.

Despicable company. The only reason that they get 1-star is ZERO stars isn’t an option.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I bought three cutting boards and regret it immediately. The edges are sharp and feel unsafe to use. The company claims these boards won’t damage your knives—but metal on metal? That’s hard to believe.

To make matters worse, I’ve been charged $45 for the past two months for a “subscription” I never signed up for. I didn’t authorize any recurring payments, and there’s been no explanation.

I’ve tried calling multiple times—no one ever answers. They take my phone number and email, but I’ve never heard back. Terrible product, worse customer service.

If I could rate zero I would. The marketing looks great but I didn’t believe the poor quality of the packaging and product when it arrived. Beaten up broken plain white box and plastic wrapping on the boards, nothing like I was expecting. No way I was using this to prepare food. Also when you look into it funnily enough these boards can’t be chopped on unless you’re happy with tiny bits of metal from your knives going into the food. A total waste of money and straight in the bin. Then to add insult to injury they took £22 every month since the purchase, claiming there is some subscription they sign you up for (without telling you at the time I might add). I will be following up with my credit card company to get this back. Don’t touch these guys with a barge pole!

Random charge of 41CAD. I was wondering how the company make their money since this is a one time purchase. I understand now. I'm cancelling my CC.

It's mostly a scam. They make it look like you're getting a "free" lifetime warranty thrown in, but buried somewhere in the small print is that this is recurring monthly fee and the "free" offer is for one month.

Add to this that the actual product is rubbish; arrived bent and despite the claims blunts knives VERY quickly. In short, just avoid. I fell for it without reading he reviews, hopefully this will save someone else from also falling for it.

On August 5, 2025, I purchased what I believed was a one-time cutting board from PureCut after seeing an Instagram ad. At checkout, there was no clear disclosure of any subscription or ongoing membership. Only after being charged unexpected recurring fees did I realize the company had enrolled me in a subscription I never agreed to.

Attempts to cancel and request a refund were met with confusing policies and poor customer support. PureCut’s practices are deceptive, preying on consumers who think they are making a simple purchase.

Key Issues:

No clear disclosure of subscription at checkout.

Recurring charges without consent.

Difficult cancellation process and lack of accountability.

Aggressive Instagram advertising targeting unsuspecting buyers.

Recommendation:

Avoid PureCut. If you’ve been affected, file complaints with the FTC, your state attorney general, and report the misleading ads on Instagram. Companies like this should not be allowed to profit from deceptive subscription traps.

The titanium chopping board I received was pretty good and fairly priced I think. It does scratch a bit, but cleans easily and my knives aren't getting noticeably blunter using it. However, they automatically sign you up to Pure Cut Collective subscription. I don't remember choosing when I bought the board, and no email from the company mentions this hidden subscription. 3 months later and they have taken a total of £66 from bank account. I've managed to cancel future payments with my bank, but I think I'm going to struggle getting my £66 back.

I got the cutting board. It's fine. Two months after, though, I got a charge for an expanded package of perks. They cancelled the ongoing "subscription" when I noticed the charge, but said that they couldn't refund the $29.99 that I'd already been charged.

Scammers who sign you up for a $30 a month subscription with any purchase, for which you get nothing.

It's going to take a trip to the bank to sort this out as they've been charging me for 3 months without me noticing 😕

The product seems top be ok, but they have overbilled me and continue to bill me an additionla mount each month. I have tried to reach them via the phone number they provide but always get a message that there are no service reps available. At this time i can only assume they are scammers that provide a product and make their money with false billing

Same as others. They do not disclose anywhere in the purchasing process that you’re required to sign up for a $29 USD monthly subscription hoping that you don’t check your bank statements while they continually take your money.
