The buying and now using experience has been great with Pivot. In spite of some supply chain interruption delays in the shipment, the order went very smoothly. Col and the team were great with communications the whole time, and shipping such a large item from the UK to Texas is no small feat. The delivery arrived in great shape, and it's been nothing but fun and sweat ever since. Thanks, guys!

I got the weight plate holders for my PIVOT bed and they are great. The quality is top notch, which is in line with all that PIVOT makes and they bolted to my system very easily. I've raised & lowered our bed multiple times for guests and these plate holders haven't budged and make for a much easier way to "hide" your gym when you need the bed function.

The pivot works just as good as I hoped and fits the room perfectly. Customer service from ordering to post delivery has been responsive & excellent overall. It took me a few days to assemble but the process was pretty clear cut and straight forward. Very happy with the product.

The Pivot bed has been a great product. It allows me to have a guest room at my house but still have a full gym for working out. The frame is built like a tank and inspires confidence that it will hold up over time.

The engineering details are really great, they were able to get so much into a small package such as a pull up bar, dip bars, weight storage, barbell storage, mirror, easy and secure latch for raising and lowering. Even the additional bench that I bought from Pivot lays flat under the bed so that it is out of the way when guest are staying in the spare room.

The customer service was very prompt and all of my questions were answered. The delivery time did end up being significantly longer than expected due to delays from Pivot's manufacturing partners (about 8 months vs the expected 2-3 months) but the product was well worth the wait. I assume they'll get this time down significantly in the future.

The assembly process is also a bit more lengthy than I expected so budget appropriate time to get the product fully assembled. I did the first stages by myself and it would have been way faster with a second person. The later stages you will 100% need a second person to help with assembly. But assembly instructions are well written and straight forward.

All around this is a great product, I have zero regrets with the purchase. Having a gym in your house reduces so much of the friction to workout, especially if you have young children. Having such a well built product also makes you want to work out more!

We bought the pivot bed for our granny flat attached to our house which we use for visitors. As expats we have family and friends visit maybe once or twice a year so whilst having a spare bedroom / living space is convenient, its rarely used. After the pandemic we had started to accumulate home gym equipment and had ended up occupying our visitor space as a gym which made it difficult to pack everything up when we needed to use it for guests. The Pivot Bed has allowed us to completely revolutionize the way we use that space. Its take all of 2 ½ minutes to convert our space from a normal bedroom to a fully functioning gym with power rack, pull up rig and dip bars. The quality of the materials used and craftsmanship to make the product are unmatched on the market. Even the previous power rack we had wasn’t as good quality.
Every small detail has been thought about when making this product so it allows you to store weight plates, barbells, folding benches and other gym equipment under the bed which is a huge space saver. The product will last us for years and more than cover the original costs in comparison to a gym membership and the cost of a normal murphy bed. The Pivot Team are also a delight to deal with and are there to answer any initial questions on sizing etc. The set up instructions we received were detailed and really easy to follow and the team were also super responsive when we had additional questions just to make sure we weren’t getting it wrong. As a family run business their passion for the product is really reflected in what they have created. No corners have been cut and it has really been designed with the end user in mind at every level which is why it’s a premium product. When we first saw the advert we almost thought the product was too good to be true but boy were we wrong and we are so glad we made the investment.

Great product, work just as well as you would hope. Unlocks a whole array of at-home workout options. And the company was very communicative even as they were dealing with major shipping disruptions from Covid.

This company is the epitome of good business. This product is bomb proof and a feat of engineering. It has turned one functional room into two and I could not be happier. When you consider the cost of a reoccurring gym membership, gas to and from and time spent compared to the function, quality and flexibility this piece of equipment provides you, it actually makes sense to buy this. Not to mention this thing will last you a life time.

I’ve always been the type of person to work out at home instead of going to a gym, so naturally, I’ve always wanted a home gym. I also live in a one bedroom shoebox condo, where space is very limited. When I first found out about the Pivot Bed, it was one of those moments where I knew I really wanted it (insert Fry take my money meme). I really felt like it had the potential to be a solution for my situation. This was one of, if not the only option, to hide a gym in plain sight.

Fast forward a couple years, I’ve received my Pivot Bed.

I want to first give some appreciation to Colin for all of the communication we had during my installation process. I did not have a smooth installation like many others have reported here. I’m definitely not a handy person and my resume for putting things together only goes as far as building Ikea furniture. Colin helped and provided guidance for whatever issues I had, and even went as far as calling local hardware stores from across the pond, so for that, I’m really grateful for all the support Pivot has shown to me.

I’ve been using Pivot for a couple months now and it has lived up to my expectations of what I had hoped it would be. I’m able to actually work out and store it away when I’m done with it. I’m able to perform compound lifts (besides you know, dropping weight for deadlifts), pull-ups and dips.

For anyone wondering if the Pivot Bed is a solution for them, I can say that Pivot has delivered on their promise.

I have the Ultimate Pivot option with all the trimmings, and have been using it 3-4 times a week for about 6 months. I think I can give this a fair review.

The product arrived with well thought through and clearly labelled packaging. I spent a day or two assembling it primarily by myself - with a friend joining me towards the end of the process (I would suggest having a friend join for the whole thing as it made the process a lot more fun!). All of the parts are high quality and sturdy. The whole thing is an engineering marvel.

My setup consists of 100kg worth of plates, a 15kg barbell, a foldable bench, and two adjustable 32kg dumbbells, spotter arms, the barbell holder, weight plates holder, and the mirror accessory too. They all fit neatly under the bed, alongside two cat beds because my cats also love to sleep under there when the bed is down.

Putting the bed up and down takes no longer than a minute. I can go from being in bed to doing a set of squats in about two minutes. No more packing a gym bag, or thinking about what clothes I'll need to wear when I leave. I can just jump straight into it, and even do some chores or whatever is on my schedule in-between sets. I have gained so much time back from this product, and a lot of strength from it too. It is everything I hoped it would be. My workouts have no restrictions from the bed (except maybe a muscle up because I have a low ceiling light... and also because I can't do a muscle up). Pull ups, dips, squats, bench, deadlifts, or even just a bodyweight workout everything is possible. I can check my form in the mirror and, because I'm in the privacy of my own home, I can also record myself without hesitation and do proper form checks.

From a noise perspective: I live in an apartment surrounded by neighbours on all sides, and I have received no complaints. I would say the loudest part of my workouts is putting my plates on and off the barbell, which is no fault of the bed (tip: don't buy pure metal plates, buy plastic/rubber coated ones instead).

From an aesthetics point of view, it's discrete so you can just style it however you like. Me and my partner have a wall mounted headboard which goes very well with it.

To summarise, I love this bed, it is everything I hoped it would be, and I think it's a great deal for what you get. The savings in gym fees, let a lone time back in my life, is beyond worth it. It is without a doubt my favourite part of my home and I can see it being around indefinitely.

The team have done an excellent job bringing this to fruition over the last few years, under quite exceptional circumstances (to put it lightly). It's testament to their passion for this product and I believe they have created something extraordinary.

My wife and I live in a relatively narrow row home without a garage. When we first saw Pivot, we knew we had to have it as a way to maintain our guest bedroom while still having some more space to work out in.

Since we've received it, we've had several visitors and even more workouts in the updated space with Pivot. The construction is super solid, but that also means assembly is quite a workout (probably best completed over a few sessions with a friend or partner). The team was very responsive and helpful with my questions along the way during and after assembly.

Our workout space is now more than double what it used to be, which is amazing. I've used the pull up bar, dip bars, and the rack, and all support me and weights well. There's also plenty of space under the bed when it's down to store the safety spotter arms, plenty of weight plates (I have ~8), and a bar.

We're really happy with our purchase, and have recommended Pivot to several friends. 10/10 would purchase again.

Absolutely fantastic product and company. My pivot is gamechanging having transformed my spare room. I can work out and have guests to stay. The build quality is truly premium and the personal service from the team at Pivot was fantastic.

Life changing. There is truly nothing like this in the fitness industry. If you are looking for a space saving home gym, this is your product. I took my time with it but was able to put it together over two days. Instructions and tips and tricks from the creator were super helpful. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to create a gym in a spare bedroom. Construction is extremely sturdy, and thought has gone into every detail. Definitely worth the money.

The bench I purchased is top notch. Very well built. Fits right under the pivot bed or can be wall mounted. Good padding.
It does wobble a little bit but that's the nature of adjustable benches. I also wish it had leg pads to do ab work but for bench pressing etc...it's great!

Great product and customer service. We are elderly couple that needed a place for stretching exercises. Somewhere where we could attach all the rehabilitation equipment, and Pivot has it all.

Pivot the best solution if you want a home gym and don't want to give up a guest room. I converted a spare room in my house into a home gym a while ago but had to put guests on the couch if they stayed overnight. The Pivot bed was the exact solution I was looking for now I have a comfy bed for guests plus the addition of a weight rack has taken my home gym to the next level.

Very well made product and owner is very responsive if you have a question. Great overall experience. Based on the quality, it is worth the price.

Pivot is everything I was hoping for! We have a guest bedroom that I didn’t want to lose, but I also wanted my own gym. I’ve tried cable machines and calisthenics but nothing compares to free weights in my opinion. Pivot has helped me do all my big lifts at home with ease. Squats, Bench Press and Deadlifts. You can do pull-up and dips as well. I ordered a queen size and it fits perfectly in the room. The bed was relatively easy to put together and the gas shocks help a lot with lifting the bed.

One of the best racks I have used. Easy on par with Eleiko (which I use with this rack), but cheaper than eleiko racks. That you get a really solid bed for free with the Rack is an awesome bonus and means my daughter can have her own room - priceless!

The Pivot bed is probably 2 to 3 times harder than your average IKEA bed to assemble - took me the better part of 3 evenings working solo - but it is easily 10x more useful and durable (this thing will be here long after I'm gone). The team has been great to work with on any little question, from parts they included to help with additional floor matting. Make sure you are ready and able to accept the delivery, preferably with friends who already work out a lot.

I may never move again, because the thought of dismantling and lugging this bed around is a sobering thought, but on the plus side my workouts have improved dramatically with the rack so maybe I'll be able to manage.
