My wife bought a 'deluxe' raised bed from them. I had to put it together. I have photographs to support everything documented here.

1. Every measurement in the supplied instructions which are a copy of what is on the website, are incorrect.
The posts are not 11cm wide, they are 9cm wide;
The boards are not 23cm high, they are approximately 17cm.
This should, in fairness, have been obvious – 2.5cm = 1 inch, so 3 x 23cm = 69cm, 69 ÷ 2.5 = 27.6 inches when the bed is only supposed to be 21 inches. As it turned out, when the 3 boards were arranged on top of each other, the total height is in fact less than 21 inches, so it is still not as described.
The posts are not 54cm long, they are nearer to 57cm
2. The website instructions show a fixing guide and indicate that one will be included. No such guide was included, and it was photoshopped/edited of the instructions sent with the bed.
3. One of the 4 posts is longer than the other 3.
4. The same post is heavier than the other 3 by over 1kg
5. Because of this, the posts cannot be level
6. The end boards are not the same length; because this was not immediately obvious, I initially fixed a shorter board to 2 end posts and I then couldn’t get the next one to fit inside the two brackets. The choice was therefore to plane down the longer board – I don’t own a plane – or remove one post, fit 3 boards to one post and then fit the other post to all 3 boards together. This was barely successful.
7. Several of the components were damaged. There was no corresponding damage to the packaging, which means they were shipped like that.
8. The final insult was the free gift; they sent a packet of onion bulbs which stated on the packet that they required planting between Feb-Apr, in an order that was placed mid-May and arrived on 26th.

There is, in my view, absolutely nothing ‘deluxe’ whatsoever about this item. There seems to be a complete absence of any quality control in either the manufacturing or shipping process. Were it not for the fact it was urgently needed for an ongoing garden project, it would have been returned for a full refund, but as it is we have had to make the best of it.

For balance, unlike the experience of some other reviewers, I actually WAS supplied with sufficient screws.

I have contacted the company requesting a partial refund but have received no reply.

Update as of 14/06/2022:
After apparently trying and failing to have my original review hidden, I have today received a request from Quickcrop for further information.

My original review clearly states that I had contacted them and that the original purchase was by my wife. This was done by email, with the order number, and numerous photographs, again as stated. So, all I have now done is forwarded them my original email. I await them claiming not to have received it or the original. Viewers will note that it has taken them 10 days to reply.

I have also searched, again, Companies House (UK). The last entries on the page for Quickcrop UK still relate to an application, by them, to be struck off the Register of Companies. If it was possible to post images of that here, then I would, but it isn't.

I have however taken screenshots.

Update as of 15/06/2022:
I have this morning received a very fulsome apology and explanation from one of the directors.

He has confirmed that both UK companies are being closed as a result of Brexit but that business will be continuing via Quickcrop Limited in the Republic of Ireland (EU) and that there is no suggestion that they are ceasing trading.

Very quick delivery. All received as promised. Happy customer.

This is my second Jora composter. Great product and great service from Quickcrop.

This is our 2nd Quickcrop raised bed. We are very pleased with them, they are sturdy and easy to assemble. No problems with delivery which was within the specified time.

Excellent service. Provided immediate response to email query prior to purchase. Very quick delivery with 2 free gifts to boot!

I wanted to use a small company rather than a big national. Big mistake. Although the raised beds and topsoil are fine, from the start of ordering to the delivery was not fine. Firstly the company website states American Express is accepted when it’s not. So I spent some time trying to get my order to process using Amex and it wouldn’t because of this. I had to complete the order on the phone.
Then the company responsible for the topsoil delivered only half of the order and the driver said the rest was coming the following day but nothing arrived. I even contacted the soil company who lied to me telling me the soil would arrive that afternoon. So that’s 2 days taken off work for half an order. Without any communication from the soil company or Quickcrop the soil arrived early on the third day. To top it all off the delivery driver of the raised beds (which comes by a different company, so that’s 3 deliveries for one order!!) was unbelievably rude and refused to put the boxes he delivered where I requested. I don’t want them left right in front of my door. Another complaint to Quickcrop who were apologetic but it wasn’t until I pushed that I was given a £20 voucher to use on Quickcrop. Which I won’t! I wouldn’t use this company again. Theres too many third parties involved that Quickcrop doesn’t/can’t control so it’s a case of potluck what happens. ‘There’s plenty other companies out there and Quickcrop don’t seem to be too bothered to lose my custom. That’s how valuable their customers are to them.

Ordered a raised bed with confidence - knowing that if any issues arose with quality or delivery the company will resolve them. Had some problems with raised bed delivery early in the pandemic, after contacting the company they ensured my order was fulfilled. 18 months on, Covid is less of a problem, ordering and delivery is now very efficient and my new raised bed arrived in 6 working days. Very pleased with the quality and the addition of complimentary onion sets is a nice touch. Well done Quickcrop.

This fertiliser was recommended to me by a friend and I have to say I'm very pleased. The parcel was delivered quickly and arrived on excellent condition.
The product was easy to use and in only a short time I can see my plants thriving. Thank you very much, I shall be buying again.

Quickcrop could not manage to supply two simple items for which it had charged me -- and it believed that the items were on their way to me!! They neither ever arrived nor were we contacted by a delivery company (DPD) that the items were on their way. Very strange and very painful.

Great quality raised bed and polytunnel kit. Arrived quickly and safely. I had a couple of questions after my purchase which were answered very quickly and helpfully. When I have need of another raised bed, I will be straight back to Quickcrop. Great retailer A++
