Great app no problems spot on

A brilliant app/extension with great offers, works well as an extension on my pc and it is suprising how much you get back. It's nice logging in and seeing how much you have earned and have pending etc.

Saw this advertised on social media.
Wasn’t sure if it was a scam as the offer of £30 off a purchase over £55 seemed too good to be true. But having looked at reviews I realised it’s a good way to get cashback on regular purchases.
I rarely go to shops due to being disabled so all my shopping is online.

I only came across Rakuten a few weeks ago on YouTube and having had three eBay purchases, one wasn't eligible for reasons I don't know, and unexpectedly had a PayPal payment of £1.09 yesterday so was really pleased.

It's easier to use than other apps and as there's the immediate payment instead of the usual minimum payout when it's built up, so that's good .

I'm hoping they'll add more stores over time especially Waitrose, Asda, Peeko and I Wonder What's Next as theyre my most used online stores.

I'd highly recommend this app as it's easy to use and the payouts are rapid.

Seems good. Only issue is I don't seem to get cashback from my Tesco & Sainsburys orders now. Is this an issue?

Brilliant! Managed to get a referral from a friend so made 25 reward and then 10% off my first purchase. Already had the referral bonus paid to me within a week.

Really like the app and offers

My Rakuten account has suddenly become unavailable and displays the message: “Your account is currently unavailable. Please contact Rakuten Member Services.”

I have contacted Rakuten Member Services around five times regarding this issue, but I have received no response whatsoever. This is particularly frustrating because I had cashback due to be credited/paid into my account.

I would like Rakuten to explain why my account has been made unavailable, restore access to my account, and ensure that any cashback I have legitimately earned is not lost.

I have given Rakuten several opportunities to resolve this privately, but receiving no response after multiple attempts is extremely disappointing. I would appreciate someone from Rakuten contacting me and resolving this issue.

Works brilliantly, I simply attach it to my shopping when applicable and I get regular cashback amounts paid to my Paypal account

I do not recommend this one at all. Made a purchase through them for a Jet2 holiday in 2025. I understand that I had to wait until I had returned from my holiday and there was also a waiting period to claim the cashback. It has now been over 3 months and still no sign of my cashback. Rakuten keep sending out an automated email stated they have contacted Jet2 when in fact they haven't. This has been confirmed by Jet2. When I asked Rakuten for proof of this supposed contact with Jet2 to forward on to them I am now being ignored. My holiday was over £11k and I am not going to stop pursuing this.

Joined Rakuten and placed my first order through them for sainsburys and earned myself £10 cashback around a week later into my PayPal account. Was a tad skeptical at first but since have since ordered through them twice more and waiting for cashback to drop in my PayPal account. Nice way to earn a little extra cash when you are already placing an order anyway. I recommend you try it for yourself.

Extremely disappointed with Rakuten.

I signed up because of the £25 welcome bonus they were advertising and made a £299 purchase at Currys nearly four months ago. Yet both the £25 bonus and the Currys cashback are still showing as pending.

I’ve chased Rakuten multiple times and every response is essentially the same: “it’s still pending.” I can already see that. What I want to know is why it has taken almost four months and when I am actually going to be paid.

It feels incredibly misleading to advertise a £25 sign-up incentive to encourage people to make purchases, only to leave the cashback pending for months with no clear explanation or timescale.

Very poor customer experience and extremely frustrating. If this continues without a proper resolution, I’ll be looking into escalating the matter through the appropriate consumer complaints channels.
