I needed a replacement memorial stone and Chris provided a swift, professional, competitively priced service. He gave me helpful advice about the stone choices available and their pro's / con's and we're really happy with the end result. Would definitely recommend.

Chris was easy to communicate with at all times, as well as having empathy for our situation. We needed my fathers headstone removed and put my mothers name on to the headstone he took the headstone away done the engraving and gave it a good clean and put the stone back all this was done to a professional standard.

Chris turned up on time to look at the headstones that I had sent photos of.
Chris took the headstones away and before I knew it they were back in situ. Beautifully cleaned and the lettering done accurately and sympathetically . Not only that, he had tidied up the earth around the headstones making it easier to plant some small bedding plants and in addition the integral flower holders had also been replaced.
The job was very reasonably priced considering the work involved. I’d recommend at the drop of a hat.

Chris was easy to communicate with at all times, as well as having empathy for our situation.
We needed a headstone removing and re-engraving. This was done to a high standard all within a set timeframe to accommodate the internment of ashes.
It was so nice to trust that everything was going to be in place at a difficult time.
Thank you for your quiet, calm professionalism.

Sympathetic and reliable, no fuss but a very attractive final product made from high quality stone.

When looking for a headstone for my daughters grave I decided to look at stonemasons local to my area. From start to finish Chris made our experience of choosing a headstone a very smooth process for my family and I. He kept me informed by email at every step from drafting the stone, informing me that the materials had arrived. He gave me a rough idea of a date when the headstone would be erected and dealt directly with the cemetery on our behalf. The headstone is beautiful and was in situ earlier than was expected. I would highly recommend Chris and his team to anyone looking for fantastic workmanship and attention to detail. We as a family can't thank Chris enough for his professionalism and empathy and great workmanship.

Chris made the headstone many years ago, and it was a pleasure to have him working on it again. Chris on his team look after their customers with kindness and professionalism.

Chris was very responsive and helpful in getting my parents grave re-set as it had sunk into the ground. He was very prompt in estimating for the work, and in understanding what needed to be done. The work was then completed quickly to a very good standard.

Chris was very helpful and supportive throughout the process. We had some ideas in mind but needed some guidance and expertise. Chris's mock ups really helped to visualise the outcome and we are very satisfied with the final results. We are not local, but Chris visited the graveyard to scope out another relatives grave that we wished to mirror and managed everything superbly via email. Would whole heartedly recommend Ransome Memorials

My mother’s memorial stone looked very sad with very faded lettering that we could hardly read anymore so I contacted Chris at Ransome Memorials to see if he could improve it. He did a fantastic job and it now looks amazing. The lettering is so clear and the whole slab looks like new. He did a quick and professional job and I would definitely recommend him.
