We had an amazing trip to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand with Realistic Asia. The whole itinerary was well planned and ran smoothly, and the hotels were excellent (with just one that didn’t quite meet the same standard as the others).

Our biggest thanks go to Chris (Thang), who was our main contact throughout the trip. He was incredibly professional, friendly and always quick to respond. When one of our internal flights was suddenly cancelled, he had us rebooked on another flight within just two hours, which saved us a lot of stress. He also checked in regularly to make sure everything was going well, and we always felt supported knowing he was just a message away.

Chris really went above and beyond for us, and he’s a real credit to Realistic Asia. We’d happily recommend this company to anyone looking to travel in the region, and wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again.

Fantastic trip with Thang & Realistic Asia

If you’re thinking of booking a tour, honestly, just go with Realistic Asia. I spent ages researching, and when I came across the Spirits of Vietnam, Cambodia & Thailand trip, I knew it was the one for us.

From day one, Thang was amazing. We stayed in touch for months before the trip, and even with all the tweaks, upgrades, and changes we made, nothing was ever too much trouble. He always replied quickly, kept us updated, and was so patient. When we finally arrived, he even came to meet us in person, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel instantly welcome.

The trip itself couldn’t have been better organised. Every transfer, every internal flight, every driver, was right there waiting. Everything ran so smoothly, we never had to stress, we just relaxed and enjoyed every moment.

This was one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had, thanks to Thang and his team. If you want a holiday where everything is taken care of, and you feel completely looked after, I can’t recommend Realistic Asia highly enough.

Recently completed the Sprit of Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand in 16days by Realistic Asia, which delivered a well-balanced sense of culture, food and history.

The itinerary was not too packed that everything felt rushed. Allowing the flexibility to add or change. Thang was able to add tours without any fuss and offered alternatives. The responsiveness was impressive, especially after being locked out of one hotel.

The hotels ranged from very good to excellent. With some nice extras such as laundry, beautiful scenery, massage, pool etc. The regional air transfers were very smooth. With Thang arranging the flights at reasonable times. The drivers were very accommodating and on time.

Some of the tours are physically demanding and may not occur in a group. The guides throughout were friendly and helpful. The tours in Cambodia and Thailand were very short and not as immersing.

This tour balances activity with comfort, offers great value, and has excellent support throughout your journey. I would definitely recommend this tour for those who want to maximize their experience!

Long did an amazing job organising our tour. Everything went smoothly from the day I booked. All of the tours he handpicked for us were incredible and professionally run, with friendly helpful staff. It was so professionally organised from start to finish, right from booking the tour to receiving tips and reminders for our visa and arrival cards and coordinating with tour guides and drivers. Anna, we cannot thank you enough. It was a pleasure to meet you in person and everything that your arranged for us, we could not have asked for more.
Every single hotel property, tour guide, driver was outstanding. We enjoyed the stories Jimmy, our Vietnam tour guide told us and loved the cooking experience, the Ha Long Bay cruise.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have been selected as the winner of the Vietnam Golden Rice Fields tour with Realistic Asia. From beginning to end, the experience was absolutely unforgettable.

The itinerary was beautifully put together — from the fascinating history of Hanoi, the tranquil rice terraces of Pu Luong, the enchanting boat ride in Tam Coc, the breathtaking Ha Long Bay cruise, to the vibrant atmosphere of Saigon. Every destination offered something special, and the organisation of high-end hotels, transfers, and guides was seamless. I hadn't even realised that the tours were going to be private!

The best company in Asia to operate Thailand, Vietnam, Laos etc

From the time I arrived in Bangkok, everything was handled. Linh (my travel agent) checked in with me multiple times per day. Did I get picked up on time? Was my tour great? Was there anything I needed? My itinerary for the next day. She was phenomenal. I knew that if I had any issues she would be there to take care of me.
When it comes to the itinerary, I was not nit-picky and left it pretty much to Linh. I knew what I was was doing each day, but I didn't dwell on specifics. I was so pleasantly surprised. Every day, I was picked up and dropped off at my hotel. I did not need to make it to a meeting point. I did not need to find my own transportation anywhere. I would walk downstairs in the morning and have a driver waiting for me or showing up soon. At the end of the tour, I was dropped of at the lobby door of my hotel. When I flew to Phuket, I had transportation to the Bangkok airport and a car meeting me when I got to Phuket. The private car dropped me off right at my resort. I worried about NOTHING.
The tours I went on were great. I was not placed on any big busses with 50 strangers. My largest tour was 8 people, and as luck would have it, a couple were solo. They were all exactly what I was looking for.
The highlight of my trip was the elephant preserve in Phuket. Again, I was picked up at my hotel, driven to the preserve, and had a wonderful, small group experience in which I had up close and personal interaction with the elephants. I cannot think Linh enough for booking this experience for me.
To sum up my experience with Realistic Asia; I cannot imagine a better vacation than what Linh provided me in Thailand. If you are looking for a company that is reasonably priced, provides a great service, is 100% tailorable to meet your needs and desires, and genuinely cares about you and your experiences, Realistic Asia should be your choice. Book with them and rest assured you are with a reputable company and you will not have to deal with any stress on your vacation.

My partner and I recently returned from an amazing trip to Vietnam planned by Linh. Linh planned a 2 week trip across the whole of Vietnam and there was not one day that we didn't enjoy. It was an amazing experience and we highly recommend Linh if you are thinking about traveling to Vietnam.

Fantastic support in helping us create a custom 8 day itinerary for just what we wanted in our short trip to Vietnam. We did group tours (each day a different group but only small groups) with knowledgeable guides. Hotels were excellent in Fantastic locations. Also arranged a custom private food tour in Hanoi which was a fabulous evening. Chris was so helpful throughout, changing things around for us and helping out with our planning and preferences so we got just the holiday we wanted. My wife and me booked a private tour in South East Asia starting at the end of July 2025. The tour started in Laos with "images of Laos in 4 days". Before coming to Laos we got all the information we needed from our contact Mr. Thang in the portal and by mail. All extra questions about the trip were answered by him very quickly. We enjoyed our tour in Laos very much. For us in retrospect it should have lasted longer than 4 days. What a beautifull country to travel trough. We had an displacement by train of which the time last minute changed. Because of that an excursion which we planned by ourselves wasn't possible anymore. No problem for Mr. Thang, he made an adaption to the scedule so we could do this excursion anyway. Thanks again Realisticasia and Mr. Thang, we have had a wonderfull time and bring lots of good memories of this trip back home.

We had the most phenomenal family holiday in Vietnam. For the first time ever, we used a Tour Operator and it was the best decision ever. Mr Thang Tran from Realistic Asia helped us during the weeks leading up to our trip and even during our trip. Due to some delays in flying to Vietnam we arrive late, buy Mr Thang rearranged things for us so we could meet up with the first tour during the morning. He kept me up to date with any changes to domestic flights, made sure we had all our transfers organised and even helped us with purchasing SIM cards on arrival. Everything was so much easier having someone else do the planning and organising!
And the 10-day Tour was AMAZING! We loved Vietnam. In hindsight we would have loved to spend more time in Hoi An, so next time we'll do that.

What a fantastic trip! I booked this trip because I wanted to travel solo but without having to worry about booking tours hotels and flights and this tour offered just that. From the beginning I had a local contact that helped me through out the trip. The itinerary was perfect with just enough days in each city and some free time for extra activities. The hotels were also perfectly located, clean and modern with the perfect location. If anyone wants to solo travel with out the planning don’t hesitate to use this company.
