I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to travel Vietnam. It was our first visit and we wanted guidance yet didn’t want to travel with a group so it was just myself and my husband. We landed in Hanoi then went to Halong Bay, Hue, Hoi An and Ho Chi Ming city. The planning was easy with their help and the experience was almost flawless. Our guides were timely and a wealth of information. They changed and were local to each city. Dao Long was always informing me of the next days’s adventure the night prior. We were able to have a multifaceted adventure including historical sites, biking, market exploring, a family dinner with a local and a Vespa foodie tour! I would recommend this group to anyone especially because they are so willing and able to personalize the trip.

We had a memorable, enjoyable, stress-free trip through Vietnam planned from start to finish with Long from Realistic Asia. Our initial contact was only 6 weeks prior to the trip which did not leave much time for planning, however the trip was fully planned and booked within a short two-week time period. After giving Long ideas about what we’d like to do and how much time we had, he planned an initial itinerary that we tweaked a few times before settling on our 11 days in Vietnam that was perfectly paced according to our request for a “somewhat busy” itinerary, leaving some time for relaxing. We requested private tours and transportation throughout the trip including airport transfers, tours, car travel between two locations and two domestic flights which required a lot of coordination and was executed without issue. We visited Hanoi, Hue, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh with daily tours in each location. From start to finish everything went off without a problem, drivers and tour guides were always on time. The drivers were excellent in the busy cities, driving between cities and outside of cities to tours in more far-reaching areas. We enjoyed each of the tours that were chosen based on our preference for experiencing the culture and food of Vietnam and ranged from street food tours to historical tours to dinner with a local family. All of the guides were fluent in English, knowledgeable and personable. Mr. Sea and Mr. Koi who work with Realistic Asia were excellent guides in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh. Each of the hotels was located in a great area and was very comfortable with excellent breakfasts. Notably, in addition to all the planning/coordination of logistics, what stands out with working with Realistic Asia is the experience while on the trip where I felt taken care of throughout with Long keeping in contact to ensure we were being picked up on time, the guides were on time, confirming times for pick up, and that accommodations were to our liking. I felt that if there were any issues, that I had someone I could rely on. I highly recommend Realistic Asia.

My husband and I planned a custom 14-day tour of Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam, and it was the absolute trip of a lifetime. Realistic Asia helped us go to exactly where we wanted to explore, arranged for outstanding tour guides and drivers at every single location, and our agent Jennifer Bui was available 24/7 in case anything went wrong.

We were specifically interested in exploring historical sites, and Jennifer specifically selected guides with the historical knowledge we were looking for. Through this trip, we saw and learned so much. It's hard to even know where to begin or how to describe how special every single day was. Some highlights included our tour guide in Laos surprising us with a visit to the Hmong New Year festival, our tour guide Jimmy recommending the best banh mi of our lives in Hanoi (at Banh mi Long Hoi), our drive along the Hai Van Pass en route from Hoi An to Hue, our historical day trip exploring the DMZ, our private tour of the "Killing Fields" and S-21 prison, Jennifer's gift of two tickets to the Phare Circus in Siem Reap, which turned out to be a gorgeous, Cirque du Soleil-like performance detailing the history of Cambodia and the Khmer Rouge and was one of the highlights of our entire trip, and finally, our tour guide Vibol, who gave us a joy-filled tour of Angkor Wat, Bakheng Hill, Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, Ta Prohm, and Banteay Samre Temple.

Our Best of Vietnam Tour in 14 Days was excellent. From the start of our booking process to the final day of our tour we were brilliantly looked after by Thang who made every request possible. Every pickup was on time, we always got the info for the following day by text the day before, which made the trip totally stress free. We decided on the 4* hotels and all of them were great choices. He even made sure we had a take away breakfast from the hotels when we had early starts. Is there room for some little improvements on some of the day tours? Sure, but these would be minor things and a matter of personal taste. All in all we can't fault this tour and would highly recommend Realistic Asia.

Really nice trip! A good mix of history, culture and nature 😎 All hotels were clean and close to the city/towncenters. The guides were always friendly and our "tour manager" sent us in the evening all the info about the next day.

Recent vacation trip to Thailand was an amazing experience and a major part of that was due to Long Pham

We have just returned from the most incredible holiday through Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand, and we cannot recommend Realistic Asia highly enough – especially our wonderful contact, Long.

Our itinerary took us through Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City, then across to Siem Reap (including the breathtaking Angkor Wat), and finally on to Phuket – and every single stop was seamless, memorable and perfectly organised.

Unfortunately, our trip began with a rocky start when the airline caused us to miss our connecting flight. We were stressed and worried about how this would impact our plans, but Long and the team at Realistic Asia went completely above and beyond. They quickly rearranged our itinerary and accommodation to maximise our time in Hanoi so we didn’t miss out on any key experiences. It genuinely turned what could have been a disaster into something barely noticeable.

What truly set this company apart was the personal touch. Long met us in Hanoi himself, which immediately made us feel looked after and valued. He checked in with us daily throughout the trip, ensuring everything was running smoothly and responding instantly to any questions.

All of our tours were exceptional. The guides were knowledgeable, professional and had a great sense of humour, bringing each destination to life. The hotels were consistently clean, comfortable, in excellent locations and staffed by friendly teams.

Our tour was “Treasures of Southeast Asia in 11 days (Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand). This tour was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Everything was incredibly well organized and planned so it felt like we barely had to lift a finger. The tour company is so responsive and professional and treated us with the utmost hospitality. Thank you to the guides and drivers we had throughout the trip (Truong, Quong, Peter, Michael, Tommy, Nam, and the entire cruise staff). Mr. Long was so responsive and kind before and during our trip and answered all of our questions and ensured we had a comfortable stay. All of the destinations included in the tour were amazing and we felt we had a perfect amount of time at each place. The accommodations and meals were also fantastic! We felt safe and comfortable at each destination with a perfect mix of guided time and free time.

My tour in Thailand was excellent! Everything was so well planned out for us, we didn’t have to lift a finger. Thang was the best coordinator ever - he answered every question of mine leading up to the tour and stayed in touch with me 24/7 during the tour whenever we had any questions. We are very pleased and have nothing but good things to say!

Having had a minute to reflect on our trip to Thailand I am realising what a special time it was. Having an early arrival the arranged transportation to our hotel was a blessing. I'm not sure we had the bandwidth to arrange that once we landed. The first day's excursion to the Golden Palace and Emerald Buddha was a sensory overload of Thai culture and craftsmanship. Our guide was spectacular and graciously shared her knowledge and heritage as we walked the grounds of a revered space. Day two was a bit more sober as we pondered the sacrifices made building the Death Railway. Again, our guide was able to relate the gravity of this engineering feat built on the backs of World War II's POWs. We saw the museum for historical context, rode the train out to a POW camp, and visited the graves of those who perished in the struggle to complete this challenging project. Our last day in the Bangkok region was more refreshing as we climbed up the Erawan Falls and enjoyed a dip in the cool water. Before leaving Bangkok we had one last big push visiting Bang Pa-In, Awuthava, Wat Ya Chai, and Wat Phra Si Sanpeth. As this was our last day the driver and guide got us to the airport in a timely fashion. Our guide took us directly to security after we checked in and checked our bags. These first few days were a great way to get started as the schedule was not aggressive and we felt that we were actually able to take the sites in rather than grab a selfie and move on. Next we moved on to Chang Mai. An arranged driver met us and took us to our hotel for a good night's sleep before a day of exploring on our own. The first day of guided touring took us to Wachirathan Waterfall, Doi Inthanon National Park for a 3 kilometer hike that ended in an indigenous village for shopping and lunch. The afternoon was a cool-off at the highest point in Thailand complete with a story of a dedicated daughter's effort to fulfill her father's wishes to be buried at the top of Thailand. The afternoon was completed at the twin pagodas erected for King Rama 9 and his Queen. These beautiful outdoor locations were examples of the Thai connection to the land and nature. Our last day was at an elephant sanctuary. 80+ acres of wilderness all for the enrichment and support of domesticated elephants. We were overjoyed with our interactions and discovering the personality of these very large, powerful, and yet gentle beings; a definite highlight. After an afternoon of laundry, massage and an evening out for dinner it was time to head off to Phuket to wrap up our Thai sampler. All in all it was a great trip and we would return to Thailand to venture out into the rest of the country now that we have a good feel for what the country is about. The daily agenda was not aggressive and the excursions were well thought out and enriching. If you are looking for a sampler trip to Thailand, I would recommend Realistic Asia. They were communicative, organized and accommodating.

This time we went to Thailand but will see Vietnam next time. It would be great if they could add more destinations in Asia as the service is amazing.
