Sent item in september. They revised offer to £1 in november. Still waiting for handset to be returned as rejected offer. Unacceptable.

You chose the 2016 iPhone SE, but sent the 2016 iPhone 6 (16 GB), which is valued at £6 in good condition, and we received it in C condition it has dents on the chassis, thus we're giving you £1 instead.

We package your device and deliver it to the Royal Mail post office; the delay is caused by a strike by the Royal Mail.

Absolutely shocking- do not use

Absolutely shocking- do not use. Didn’t not respond to emails and had to chase numerous times on phone to be told my order was processing. Eventually was told the offer was way lower than promised due to a scratch on the screen. I asked for photographic proof and never sent-they then told me 2 weeks later there was supposedly another issue with the phone. I threatened to call trading standards and the police as they were refusing to send my phone back or give me any details about the supposed issues- agreed on a price just below the agreed price to finally get some money and end the saga.

I am sorry that you feel this way, and its absolutely because of the threats you made. we are a business to serve people but not to get it conflict, we agreed to a price to save you time and our intentions where only to help you. please read below why we revise prices and also please read other reviews here from customers who sent their device in a good condition ( Grade A ).

when we receive an order with good condition ( Grade A ) but we receive a worn condition device ( Grade C ) if it happens we send pictures and videos of scratches or dents to prove its not a condition customer selected. We are always willing to help and make the process quicker and hassle free for customers by negotiating a price where this transaction will be acceptable for both parties and incase we can not find a middle ground we always return customers device free of charge. It can all be avoided if correct condition is selected while placing the order or simply do not accept our accurate quote according to device's condition and we will return your device free of charge.

It could all be avoided if correct condition was selected while placing the order or simply just don't accept the revise quote and we will return your device free of charge.

I hope you will understand why we had to revise your quote and hope you will select the correct condition while selling your device.

Legit, but be really patient

So, first of all to anyone who is reading this: these guys are legit and paid the promised amount in full.

Now to the detailed review:

I had a new phone that I used for only 3 months, in excellent condition (no visible damage and I take care of my phone with tempered glass and MILD certified cases). These people offered me the highest amount and I sent the device to them on 14th October 2022. They received the device on 17th October (confirmed by Royal Mail tracking and by their team). They asked me to be patient and I waited. For 10 days. Mailed them again. No response. Mailed them the next day again - no response. I was getting worried at this point. But by the end of that day, I saw that my account was credited with the promised amount.

So, the entire process took half a month (14th Oct - 28th October). Now, why do I think this delay is a bit high?

My partner traded in her phone for Pixel 7 Pro at the Google Store UK. She sent the phone on 17th October, they received it on 18th and her account was credited by the promised amount on 21st October. So, all it took her was 5 days, in total.

Once again, these guys are legit, but just be really patient. If you are not in a hurry to get your money, these guys are great. If you are in a hurry, I suggest some other company. Also, use tons of bubble wrap both on the phone and on the box you put the phone on. The postal cover I used even had bubble wrap inside. This makes sure that your phone isn't scratched or anything during postage.

Very poor

Very poor! Sent off the phone and had to chase 3 times to ask what was going on! After almost a month they told me that it had a scratch and they would pay £40 instead of the initial £126! I requested the phone back and a week later I am still waiting for it to be delivered! Do not use!

Won’t be using them again

Really slow at processing my phone. Took them over 3 weeks. Then it was valued at much less because of scratches that were not there when I sent it in. The ended up paying me about £290 less than promised because I couldn’t be bothered having it sent back during the postal strikes. Initiall Emailed them twice and never heard back. Called them and they were polite but still took too long to resolve. Wouldn’t use them again.

Bad news avoid like the plaque

Bad news ! Just avoid them.

They had my phone for over a month before making an offer way below what was indicated initially. After declining and waiting a further 2 weeks they have still not returned my phone.

A complete scam, these guys. Now won’t even take my calls.

Terrible Service

I don’t usually write reviews but I feel I have to warn potential customers. The payment for my Apple Watch took over 4 weeks. The team also paid less than half of what was offered for the watch, even though it had a screen protector and case for its entire life, so was in great condition. Very disappointed.

Update in response to your reply: you sent me images of the “cracked screen” but the screen protector was still on the watch - the small scratch was on the screen protector. I replied to tell you this and asked for photos of the actual watch screen, but you didn’t send any update photos to show the screen protector off. Shocking service.

Emailed twice and got no response so all in all ok but could have been better

Don't use this company!

Don't use this company, unless you want to be scammed out of your phone and amount they say they can give. Don't be drawn in by the 'higher than all the others' prices. Sent the phone to them and it's taken two months of constant emailing back and forth and threatening to call the police for theft before getting not the amount I was offered.

I sent the phone in near perfect condition. I always use a screen protector and phone case. I also wrapped in bubble wrap (a lot of bubble wrap) and in a bubble envelope. I had been quoted over £80.

When my phone was finally after 3 weeks 'assessed' they said it was in Condition C with deep scratches in the screen and lots of scratches around the casing and they were offering me £50 less than quoted. Uh, no, impossible.

I read a few other reviews similar to this one. Almost seems like they either damage the phones themselves to offer you a lower price, or they lie. When I asked for the phone back, they never sent it to me (probably because the phone was NOT in the condition they said). I had to threated to call the police for theft as they hadn't returned my phone after another couple of weeks until 'as a gesture of goodwill', they accepted my counter offer of £60. I then FINALLY got the money after nearly a week, and can now put this learning experience behind me.

My advice, if you are going to use this company, take the serial number of your phone, or some other unique identifier, take pictures of the condition before you send it, as well as how carefully you've packaged it so you have something to counter them with if they say it was too damaged, or you get a damaged phone back (you can then check the serial number or something to make sure it's the phone you sent them). You will also have to not be in a rush to get your money and be prepared to make lots of contact.

So glad it's over.

Recycle pro were great

Recycle pro were great, I received the exact money they quoted me for my iPhone X. It was the highest quote I’d receive from any company online or on the high street.
It did take a week from it getting delivered to getting reviewed and the payment being sent but when I contacted them they replied the same day advising me there was a slight delay due to demand.
They kept me updated throughout.

Sent the phone after lots of prompts then had to chase contact for the next two weeks to be told to call back and then I’d receive an email in the next 48hours which never came then offered less than original
Price quoted said the phone had scratches in the screen but was a new screen
