I rented an MG ZS from Rental Cars and it was a great experience, they welcomed me and provided me with lounge access, the staffs were really knowledgable and understanding. The car they provided me is super smooth and clean.

They dont return your deposit back!
I am a UAE citizen and have rented a car twice from Rental Cars UAE for extended periods of over a month. When it comes to the deposit, they simply don’t refund it! The first deposit was never returned and when I rented another car, they used the first deposit as a credit for the second one so that the money doesn't stay put for the time being
Now, I have been waiting for my deposit since November 2024—countless emails, countless calls and still nothing! In January, I finally received an email confirming the deposit amount, which I acknowledged, but since then, there has been no payment.
I have now given them one last chance, if I don’t receive my money by March, I will go to the police and take legal action.
The cars were generally good and the service was fine in the beginning. If I had received my deposit back, I would have definitely given a better review. But we’re talking about 1,000 dirhams…this is just scam!

This is not a bad service with the park of functional well-maintaned cars available for your requests if the request is not posh. The service is Ok. Will call them next time when I am in the country.

Booked a car it never turned up,after hours of chasing they said they didn't have it, but to refund me they wanted to charge me 2.5%!! Still waiting on my refund.

Do not use this company. Their t&c's state that they will refund the security deposit in 21 working days, this is a lie. Dispite numerous messages and calls 8 weeks later the security deposit still has not been refunded.

Rental price ok deposit not getting back
Rented a Car for 1 day price was ok, but still fighting to get my deposit back from these people. They not replying my phone calls or messages. Now we have involved Dubai tourist Police and Consumer rights hope this will help. Deposit is 3 times more than the rent.. please advice how i will get my money back. It my half month Salery.

Die Firma Hertz agiert in Spanien unter dem Namen Firefly, um ihren Ruf zu verschleiern. Hertz ist dafür bekannt, zahlreiche Kunden finanziell zu schädigen, was dazu führte, dass das Unternehmen weltweit viele Kunden verlor und sich zunehmend hinter anderen Marken versteckt.
In meinem Fall hat Hertz in Dubai meine Kreditkarte wiederholt belastet, ohne mir eine nachvollziehbare Erklärung oder Rechnung vorzulegen. Auch in Spanien wusste ich nicht, dass Firefly zu Hertz gehört, und nun erlebe ich erneut, wie meine Kreditkarte grundlos mehrfach belastet wurde.
Mein Rat: Finger weg von Hertz – eine Firma, der man nicht trauen kann!

Horrible service…..
Horrible service…..drop and pick up of the car is fine, car quality is not good but thats what you pay for.
Issue was claiming the security deposit back. Took multiple calls, emails and every time they give you one lie after another. It took me 7 weeks of headache to get my money back and only.
Not worth the low rental you pay, please do not use them

Service is okay, refund process not good.
Service is okay, delivery and handling skills are good.
But the account and their refund process is very slow, even after the TAT is over we need to follow up to get the security deposit.
I was supposed to receive to 3rd Jul after returning the car on 27th May but till date following up.
