I wish I had read the other reviews before I rented here. This company charged me 400 euro without giving any reason why, although when I returned the car I was assured by the inspector that it was all fine (no damage, full tank).

Upon asking they claim I caused a stone chip to the windshield, and state that their contract terms (which they never supplied me with) allow them to charge 400 euro for this.

Even if these terms would be binding, they would be in violation of European consumer protection law.

I get the feeling that this company is intentionally scamming its customers. I will file a complaint and consider legal action, in the meantime I would recommend anyone to steer clear!

Update: to other victims of this company - claim it back through your credit card as fraud, this worked for me!

I pick up the car I Prague airport. One small scratch on the hood is in the damage report already.

The car was returned in exactly same condition, but now I've been charged 10000 czk without any notice as to why!

I wish I checked reviews before I rented a car from this company....

Bad experience renting car with Rent Plus, 0 transparency.
They charged me 500 euro without a notice or receipt make it hard for me to make a claim. If guys you have no option but to deal with Rent Plus, please purchase rentalcover. If you have other options please dont choose rentplus.

Charged over 900EUR for NON EXISTING DAMAGE

I will avoid Rent Plus in the future. On the day of the rental I had to sign and pay EUR 40,- extra for going with the car to abroad.
I also had to sign that I will have to pay CZK 650,- (about EUR 26,-) for administration costs in case of over speeding.
One month later they withdrew EUR 36,- from my credit card but didn't inform me why. It was impossible to get in touch with them. Luckily Rental cars have been kind enough to help me and got in touch with them themself (the car has been booked via Rental cars, a very good company). It was for over speeding 9kms. They have very expensive administration costs.

I advise to use another rent company.

The worst experience I've ever had with a car rental!
I fly more than 50 times a year and because of that I often use rental cars.
First of all I had to pay for an insurance although it was included in the contract according to the website. The stuff of the carrent told me to complain to rentalcars, the problem would be known and this would have been reported several times but rentalcars would not react at all.
Furthermore I was advised to take out a fully comprehensive insurance 3-4 times. Which I denied several times.
The vehicle was damaged in several places, I have entered this on the usual fields in the rental agreement and am back to the office of the carrent. There I was told that the image of the vehicle on the rental contract is not in use, I would have to enter it on a separate form. So I went back to the vehicle and entered it there. All in all, this process took an hour. Again at the office they refused to confirm the damage, I should take photos now. The Rentalcars hotline was not available. The carrent did not want to confirm the damages, they offered to cancel the contract. Then they did not want to pay back the deposit. Only after I called the police was the deposit and additional insurance refunded to me.
The payment which I made to RentalCars was not refunded to me until today despite promise in presence of the police until today. I have now called in a lawyer and filed a fraud report and reported the misuse to VISA.

Die schlimmeste Erfahrung die ich je mit einer Automvermietung gemacht habe!
Ich fliege mehr als 50 mal im Jahr und entsprechend oft nutze ich Mietwägen.
Zurerst musste ich für eine Versicherung bezahlen obwohl diese laut Webseite im Vertrag enthalten war. Der Vermieter sagte mir ich solle mich bei rentalcars beschweren, das Problem wäre bekannt und man hätte dies schon öfters gemeldet aber Seiten rentalcars würde nicht passieren.
Ferner wurde mir 3-4 Mal geraten eine Vollkasko Versicherung abzuschließen. Was ich mehrfach verneinte.
Das Fahrzeug war an mehreren Stellen beschädigt, ich habe dies auf den üblichen Feldern im Mietvertrag eingetragen und bin zum Büro des Vermieters zurückgelehrt. Dort sagte man mir das die Abbilung vom Fahrzeug auf dem Mietrvertrag nicht genutzt würde, ich müsste es auf einem gesondertem Formular eintragen. Daher bin ich nochmal zum Fahrzeug zurück und habe es dort eingetragen. Ingesamt hat diese Prozess eine Stunden gedauert. Wieder am Büro weigerte man sich die Schäden zu bestätigen, ich solle Fotos machen. Die Hotline von Rentalcars war nicht erreichbar. Der Vermieter wollte die Schäden nicht bestätigen, er könne höchsten des Vertrag stornieren. Dann wollte er die Kaution nicht zurückzahlen. Erst nachdem ich die Polizei gerufen habe wurde mir Kaution und zusätzliche Versicherung erstattet.
Die Zahlung die ich an RentalCars geleistet habe wurde mir bis heute trotz Zusage in Anwesenheit der Polizei bis heute nicht erstattet. Ich habe nun einen Anwalt eingeschaltet und Anzeige wegen Betrug gestellt sowie die missbräuchlichen Nutzung an VISA gemeldet.

There is no damn reason for booking online when you are waiting for more than 2 hours to get car. By the way still in the Queue.

I am a big fan and 100% happy client of RENT PLUS car rental and I would definitely recommend them to all planning to fly to / landing in Prague and in need of a car.

First time I booked Skoda Octavia Automat/Diesel and I got Skoda Octavia Automat/Diesel...and btw., the car was brand new 👍 Second time, I booked the same and got again exactly what I ordered and brand new car again...Third time...sorry to sound biring, but the same story again 😁

My fourth time: I booked again Skoda Octavia Automat/Diesel...well tough luck, they run out of Octavia(s) so they gave me a brand new BMW 4 GrandCoupe...they just brought it from garage with 5km on the tacho...

Simply put, RENT PLUS is a top firm, client friendly, you only deal with professionals speaking fluently different languages...simply 10 out 10👍

And it comes without saying that a car rented at the airport can be brought back to their offices in center of Prague and vice-versa

Should you have a delay due to traffic on your day of return, no problem, just call them and they gladly give you 1-2 hours extra without any surcharge

What should I add? ...I am flying regularly to Prague / CZ and I regularly rent a car with RENT PLUS only...furthermore, after 3 or more rentals, you can apply for a VIP client status gaining regular and interesting reductictions on your next rentals...

Na firmu RENT PLUS nedam dopustit a vrele doporucuji vsem, kteri planuji navstevu Prahy / CR ci proste prileti do Prahy a potrebuji si pujcit auto.

Poprve jsem si objednal Skoda Octavia Automat/Diesel a dostal jsem Skoda Octavia Automat Diesel ...auto bylo uplne nove. Podruhe jsem si opet objednal to same a dostal jsem opet presne to, co jsem chtel...a opet uplne novy vuz. Potreti?...nektere skodolibce mozna zklamu, ale opet!

Poctvrte: objednal jsem si opet Octavia/Automat...smula, Octavia auta dosly...dostal jsem za stejnou cenu zcela nove BMW 4 GrandCoupe...mimochodem uplne nove, akorat ho dovezli z autosalonu.

Proste spickova firma, profesionalni pristup, vyborna jazykova vybavenost, pouze same +++

A samozrejmosti je, ze auto vypujcene na letisti muzete vratit na pobocce v centru Prahy a naopak, a bez jakehokoli priplatku.

Stejne tak stane-li se Vam, ze mate zpozdeni na
dalnici...staci zavolat, ochotne Vam daji 1-2hodiny navic a opet bez priplatku.

Co dodat?...do Prahy / do CR letam pravidelne a auto si pujcuji pouze u RENT PLUS...navic po 3 a vice vypujckach mate narok stat se jejich VIP klientem a ziskat navic jeste zajimave slevy na jakekoli vypujcky...

I have the same situation right now as described below- they want to charge me for Pre existing damages. They will give you an old car with multiple small scratches and disc scratches with 36000 km on it and will make you pay for every single scratch even it was never in the damage report they give you at the time of your rental . You will loose your $$$$ for nothing. AVOID! Be aware of this SCAM!
They deserve criminal investigation!

This is my 3rd time I hired a car with Rent plus and as always the service and car provided was excellent. Ecxellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Awful, they scammed us out of £356 - please avoid. We recorded videos of the state of the car before and after hire, topped it up fully with petrol, and they claim that we caused damage to the bumper (sending us a poor image of the car a week after we hired it). There was no such damage on the car when we gave it back to the company and have video proof, but yet they still refuse to return £367 out of the deposit we paid.

Warning! Do not use this company! They are making frauds with scratches that did not happen during your rental. Then they start acting unprofessionally after the reclamation!

I have had a very similar response from Rental Plus. I rented a vehicle through rentalcars.com. The vehicle was OK and after the end of the rental period I returned it at the airport. On my return back to Australia, I found a charge of $660 on my credit card account. After querying by email, I was told the there were small scratches. I am sure that they were not caused by me. I demanded more information several times and did not get any further responses from them. Even though I had full insurance, I cannot claim the cost as I did not receive any documents from Rental Plus!

Avoid using this company!!!

I have had very bad experience(s) with this company, and as I can now see, many others have had too.
They charged CZK10000 to my credit car after I had been told everything was fine at the airport drop off. They did not even bother to let me know why or what for. Only after I had written to them and CarTrawler, they send me 'half' reply that it was for two little scratches. (?)
This was third time I booked a car with them through CarTrawler. Not once they provided me with their advertised 'Guaranteed Car Model'. Always offered lesser/smaller vehicle. Never they showed any regrets or offered an apology, on the contrary, they always always blamed CarTrawler, and made me to pay more to get a car that would suit my needs. I always had to get the money back through CarTrawler.
Needless to say that I will never come anywhere close to this company again, and I will make sure that I warn any potential victim. When in Prague, use Europcar or Sixt. They are both very good. Their customer service are few classes over the Rent Plus.

I've booked a car from Rent plus via CarTrawler for the end of June 2017, still wait for a VAT invoice.
A participation in case of damage ist 10.000 CZK at minimum, even for a small damage!
And a garanteed car model? Forget it!

So have Rented from them Several times, due to the Fact they offer 21% Discount on the Rentals after your 3rd Rental, then you i notice they have increased there prices with 50-100% and contact them regarding this as this is completely out of no where.

so i contacted them, and got the arrogant answer that they have increased there prices with so much as they have a High Demand at the moment, and a low amount of Cars left.

Also experienced a 2 out of 3 times. that the Group ordered was unavailable. and getting provided with a free upgrade. how ever no notification about this in Advance no Phone Call about this.

This is the worst excuse i have encountered. so if they are having a low amount of cars they are providing the remaining cars for rent by Ripping people off with Way too high Prices for the cars..

In the end of March I booked a Mercedes S class in Prague Airport. As a car enthusiast I normally look for special models.
I chose the company due to fact that they had GUARANTEED the model.
I got my confirmation and was good to go.
When I came to Prague they didn't have a Mercedes S class. The guy at the disk said they didn't have the S class or similar. His boss had found a BMW X5. Nothing to do! I complained an had a discount for the X5. Even though they confirmed the S class and knew they didn't have it - I was never informed up front, so I did not have the chance to cancel or choose another car.
I can't recommend this company due to the "model guarantee" is worth absolutely nothing! I would rather
call it fraud.

By renting the car is not all damage and scratches registered and the company is trying to get damages paid by new tenants.
Never able to rent a car without it has had injuries which were not recorded on delivery
