Don't buy it. If any issues occur they won't replace the product. You get an email telling you they will but nothing beyond that. Save your money get it some place else. The sd card is generic and will damage very quickly making impossible to use. Can't load the software from anyone else that will work on the device. Purchased the device from theretrosnap.com and now all information is gone. So don't buy it from any place you see it. Will keep posting till a proper resolution is made.

Placed an order for two gaming consoles in mid November as Christmas gifts. After exchanging several emails with "customer service" I was assured over and over they would arrive by Christmas. They arrived on January 8th and I sent them back immediately to the company. I have proof of delivery and it is now mid February and I have yet to get a refund. They ripped me off for sure, they have the product and no intention to refund my purchase.

I do not usually leave reviews, but I feel I should warn others. I ordered a Christmas gift on 4th December with an advertised 4–9 day delivery. By 18th December there were no updates, and when I asked to cancel the order while it was still awaiting courier pickup, the seller initially acknowledged but then refused and responded only with copy-and-paste messages that ignored my questions.

The item finally arrived around 7th January, over 30 days later, which was far too late for its intended purpose. I repeatedly asked for return instructions, but they refused to provide any, insisting it was “change of mind.” I only received a refund by raising a dispute through my bank.

For anyone experiencing the same issue, I would recommend going straight to your bank if the seller refuses to cooperate. Avoid this seller if you need items on time or expect proper customer service.

Complete scamsters. I returned an item as instructed by them and they have received the item as the package was tracked. Retro snap have not sent a refund and the email address is no longer available. I have lost £70. Please do not shop with retro snap.

Received the item, did not work. I emailed them, they said to send a video of the product not working. I sent them a video, no response. Emailed them again last week and the email was 'undeliverable' meaning it no longer exists! So annoyed, how can they get away with it?? And over the Christmas period, they would have made so much money from scamming people, utterly disgusting and sad of all of those that were gifted utter rubbish!

Like many, I would leave no stars if possible. Ordered mid-November. Constant emails to company from well before Christmas asking where they were. Reply was always the same ‘they are coming’, ‘here’s the tracking info’, ‘please wait before asking for a chargeback from your bank otherwise this will just delay delivery and the kids won’t have their presents in time’!
Fast forward to first week of January and I eventually got sick of the excuses. Successfully claimed from bank so happy days however, received a card from Royal Mail on Monday to say I had an overseas parcel being held back due to non payment of charges! Since this is absolutely the only thing I’m am waiting for they can send the bloody things back or destroy them for all I care

Is zero stars possible? This item was super late, worked for 2 hours and then hasn't turned on since. All emails to try to send it back fro a refund have been deflected until they just de-registered the email address. No idea how we all get refunds on this piece of shit product. So pissed off that I was scammed!

Didn't receive order on time for Christmas. Rubbish customer service. From what I read the company's gone bust. No surprise there

They are scammers. I paid for two consoles, on December 7th, one for each of my children.paid for priority shipping. This was supposed to be my big gift to them. I am a single mom of two and I got ripped off by this company. Never received my order. A lot of copy and paste emails, assuring that the delivery is en route.

Same complaint as others, ordered on 12/4 paid express shipping and nothing received and now to top it off the website is gone!

Absolutely diabolical!! I was bought this as a gift for Christmas! Firstly it was ordered in November 2025 and only arrived January! I charged this up on arrival and played Zelda on snes link to the past! All was fine but then it cut off! I turned it back on but no longer had sound out of the speaker at all, half an hour later it shit off again and now it won’t even turn on!! I havnt complained to them yet as there website doesn’t even seem to exist anymore and looking at the other reviews on here I feel I’ll be wasting my time - DO NOT BUY, you can get the same product on Amazon for £29.99 with mext day delivery!

This company is a scam. On their website it says products will ship and be delivered 7-9 days after the order was received. I ordered my son’s Christmas gift on Dec. 1st, feeling confident I would have it by the 10th. I did not receive the item until after Christmas. I tried to return since I had to scramble to get something else to take place of the handheld game and they do not accept returns. They are not a legit business, they drop ship from china. Also the handheld glitches and does not run the Nintendo 64 games it claims to have. Don’t waste your time or money.

This company are the worst I have ever dealt with. I ordered a product before Christmas and even paid extra to have delivery time expedited - what a waste that was. It took weeks for the product to arrive. It was used twice before it stopped working and didn't work again. I contacted the company to say what had happened and sent photos and videos as requested. Their response was to return the product - TO SPAIN - at my expense and they would decide whether to reimburse, send out another product, or do nothing. Despite numerous e-mails, this company are having nothing to do with this. A useless product, a useless company and useless people that work for them. This company do not make their products, they buy them from manufacturers and then sell them on at a greater price. They clearly do not want the hassle of trying to claim their costs from the manufacturing company. The issue is now with the European Consumer Centre. We will see whether they are able to solve this issue. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

Ordered £70 game weeks ago kept getting progress emails, then they just stopped. Tried chasing, total waste of time.

Deceptive marketing. Ordered 12/2 and was promised delivery by mid December. Comes on a slow boat from China. Still haven’t received. Ruined Christmas gift. Do not buy from the Retrosnap!!

Ordered at the beginning of December. Still nothing has arrived. Very good at sending multiple marketing emails, though. Just to really rub it in.
