Problem with an order: refusal to refund

I strongly advise against this shop, and you should especially avoid ordering online. The thing is, I placed an order on 21 March and was expecting it to be delivered, but on 27 March DHL were unable to deliver it and returned it to the shop. I was expecting a refund, but nothing has happened; over 20 days have passed and I haven’t received a single text message from the shop. I contacted them myself and explained the situation. However, customer support replied with what appeared to be an automated message just five minutes after my enquiry, stating that following a detailed internal check, it had been found that the order had been successfully delivered. This is not the case, and the tracking information shows something completely different. They also added that they would not respond to any further enquiries from me and would not assist in resolving this issue. I have lost over €500 and I will be taking legal action. After all, they are fraudsters!

I recently bought a rituals candle from…

I recently bought a rituals candle from John lewis (oxford street) but they didn’t pack it nicely for me; they didn’t have any gift wrapping available. It was a present and it really mattered so I found a rituals store right opposite, walked in and asked if I could get it gift wrapped. I offered to pay but the lady (her name was Dina I think) immediately offered to wrap it beautifully and all for free! So pleased with the wonderful customer service! Thank you for helping me make my friend’s day so special

Qualität der Produkte und Kundenservice unterirdisch

Leider ist die Qualität der Produkte, als auch der Kundenservice unterirdisch geworden! Ich habe jetzt bereits den zweiten Duschschaum, der überhaupt nicht funktioniert, obwohl die Flaschen beide neu und voll ist. Es kommt kein Schaum aus der Flasche. Aber laut Kundenservice ist ein Umtausch nur mit Kassenbon möglich. Allerdings habe ich beide Flaschen geschenkt bekommen und mag natürlich den Schenkenden nicht danach fragen bzw. gehe auch davon aus, dass man die Kassenzettel für so etwas nach zwei Monaten nicht mehr hat. Letzte Woche bekam ich eine Handcreme geschenkt, bei dieser schließt der Deckel bereits nach zwei Tagen nicht mehr richtig.
Leider hat die Qualität der Sachen sehr nachgelassen!

If I could give minus stars, I would. Horrible experience. Their customer service representative Klaudia could benefit from practicing some reading with comprehension skills. They made a mistake but she apparently couldn’t care less and doesn’t see any problem with them not delivering the service I paid for. She doesn’t seem to comprehend how someone without a car would find it difficult to pick a parcel from a completely different inaccessible village outside of town where I live. Mind you, I paid more than 10 euros for a home delivery. Nobody even tried to call me or reach me. They threw my package to the parcel shop. She insisted their solution was for my convenience. Rituals is taking zero responsibility for ruining my birthday gift for a friend, wasting my time, and also money. Given their current attitude, it will be very difficult to get my refund including the delivery fee back. Laughable. Never again

Such a shame as I love the product

I love Rituals products unfortunately the customer service is a huge let down. Following a seriously damaged package/burthday present,I found it difficult to make initial contact. Eventually through chat I got through. With no options provided they decided just to resend the products with no refund. The issue was the delivery service they used. I didn't want to use it again. Now my only option is to have the recipient refuse the new package before I can even get a refund! Rituals please do better!

Helpful Assistand

My husband went into Eldon Square shop for me as I'm housebound at the moment, the sales assistant was so helpful to him I wanted a perfume that I had smelt on a little stick 3 months ago. Unfortunately she thought it was one that was discontinued, but gave my husband a couple of little sticks with 2 perfumes on for me to smell at home plus some little samples of skin care. I'd just like to say thank you to that girl for helping my husband out well done on your customer service it was very much appreciated

So my dearest woman 💕💖🧚
I want to thank you for the beautiful positive moments in the Ritual Store, where I discovered the cosmetic ritual calender and Ritual Pouches for going out to evening dates 😻 They are a perfect match to the little black dress or to the evening dresses for going out.
Also thank for the wonderful Rituals Tea and the mini eye cream, it passes perfect in the small bag. Gorgeous people I am pleasantly surprised also by the Red Sweet Almond Shower Foam.♥️
I adore this line and from my previous experience with this cosmetic line, I can recommend you my beautiful people the turquoise ritual set from body cream and shower gel and the sakura body cream. 🩷 Both amazing, pass perfectly in the small bag. 💖
The price range is also accessible to average woman: 9€ for shower foam gel and 20€ for a mini set. 🫶

Neue Nachfüllbehälter nicht kompatibel mit alten

War heute mal wieder bei Rituals .
Habe" Sakura" Körpercreme als Nachfüllpackung gekauft und verschiedene andere Produkte .
1. Die Nachfüllpackung wurde umgestellt und ist mit den alten Behältern weder aus Glas noch der aus Kunststoff kompatibel.
Was mich ärgert, ist das der Kundenservice im Geschäft aber sagte das alles mit allen Behältern egal welche Serie bzw Duft miteinander kompatibel sind .
STIMMT NICHT !
2. Habe mich vor kurzen als Kunde von Kundenkonto angemeldet weil ich als Kunde in diesem Geschäft immer mal wieder nicht richtig beraten wurde.
Da ich einen Gutschein hatte wollte ich diesen heute einlösen.
Leider gibt's auch als "Nichtkunde ", das ich ja jetzt war , noch nicht mal eine Probe um was zu probieren.
Es hat mich wiederum bestätigt das dieses Unternehmen leider nicht genug informiertes Personal hat , welches die Produkte ordentlich vorstellt .
Desweiteren ist dieses Unternehmen auch nicht bedacht Kunden zu halten oder neu zu werben.
Leider muss ich jetzt 30 km fahren um dieses Produkt umzutauschen bzw neuen Tiegel kaufen...

Excellent service from the customer service centre

Called the customer service centre due to a spray item that I’d bought in store, which had stopped spraying. Stephanie was super helpful and polite. I was asked if I would like a full refund as the item is sold out in stores however I opted for a gift voucher. Super customer services

Rituals Adventskalender

Schöne Optik, aber enttäuschender Inhalt. Zu viele Mini-Produkte, wenig Abwechslung und viel zu teuer. Für den Preis habe ich deutlich mehr erwartet. Würde ich nicht erneut kaufen.

Beschädigte Ware durch fehlendes Packmaterial

Ich habe in den letzten 4 Wochen zweimal online bei Rituals eingekauft. Bei beiden Lieferungen war Ware oder die Geschenkverpackung beschädigt, weil einfach nicht sorgfältig verpackt wurde. Zwar wurden aufgrund der Beanstandung Gutscheine angeboten, das löst das Problem jedoch nicht. Am Verpackungsmaterial zu sparen ist der falsche Weg. Ich habe mein Kundenkonto löschen lassen.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an incident that occurred during my recent visit to your store. I had come in to purchase a Christmas gift and asked for the price of an item. Instead of receiving assistance, I was approached by a member of your security team and told that the item was “too much.”
This comment was inappropriate, unprofessional, and left me feeling embarrassed and upset. As a customer, I should be able to enquire about a product without being judged or discouraged. I was genuinely gutted by the experience and it completely dampened what should have been an enjoyable shopping trip.
I expect staff—security included—to treat all customers with respect and courtesy. I hope you will address this issue with your team to ensure no other customer is made to feel the way I did.
I would appreciate a response regarding how this matter will be handled

Nie wieder Rituals...

Der Shop hat meine Bestellung selbst storniert, nachdem der Versand um eine Woche verzögert wurde. Auf meine Nachfrage, wo mein Adventskalender ist, erhielt ich lediglich die Information, dass mir der Kaufbetrag zurückerstattet wird. Natürlich sind dadurch alle Aktionen und Gratisartikel für meine Punkte verfallen.

I just can't praise the Rituals branch…

I just can't praise the Rituals branch at Teesside Park highly enough. The store is always immaculate and each visit is such an enjoyable experience I keep popping back. All the staff are professional but a special shout out to the Assistant Manager and Amelia. You both were so helpfully and Amelia thank you for the advice on the products. X

Esperienza pessima con il customer…

Esperienza pessima con il customer service su Whatsapp. Ricevo il pacco, ma completamente aperto. All'apparenza non manca nulla, ma preferisco segnalare l'accaduto. Per ottenere lo stesso prodotto devo ripagare - compensato da un misero 10% di sconto - recarmi in negozio per il cambio ed aspettare "n" giorni per il rimborso. Mi viene anche fatto notare che i pacchi quando escono dal loro centro di smistamento sono perfetti, ma la responsabilità della scelta del corriere deve ricadere sul cliente finale? Come cliente non mi interessa che i pacchi escano perfetti dal centro di smistamento, ma che arrivino perfetti a destinazione! Pessimi

Ich habe einen Weihnachtskalender für…

Ich habe einen Weihnachtskalender für etwa 90 Euro gekauft, und als ich ihn öffnete, waren alle Artikel winzig. Er war das Geld nicht wert. Es waren vier Kerzen im Kalender, also hatte ich von 24 Tagen an vier Tagen Kerzen. Das ist absolut lächerlich. So einen dürftigen Weihnachtskalender habe ich noch nie bekommen. Wenn Sie keine Qualität liefern können, produzieren Sie diesen Kalender bitte nicht

Nie wieder Rituals Onlineshop

Nie wieder Rituals Onlineshop – absolute Katastrophe!
Ich habe im August zwei Bestellungen komplett retourniert, aber Rituals behauptet, ich hätte ein Set behalten. Das stimmt zu 1000 % nicht! Seit über 3 Monaten warte ich auf meine Gutschrift. Auf Mails wird kaum reagiert, der Kundenservice ist eine Frechheit. Man fühlt sich als Kunde völlig machtlos.
Bitte bestellt dort nichts – nur Ärger, Stress und Nervenverlust! Ich werde jetzt auch rechtliche Schritte einleiten.
