Very good, we are pleased. Our dog was reckless, disobedient and refused any commands.
He is now calm, follows orders, and he is a joy to be with.

My dog Jesse is reactive to strangers. I booked her in for reactive boarding and the trainer spent time with her understanding her triggers and creating a non reactive relationship and environment. I had daily photos and an enrichment report. Great service would definitely recommend.

Daily reports and photographs of our Merky gave us great peace of mind while we were away.

I felt very guilty leaving our much-loved dog in kennels for a week, but the team at Royvon in Bridgend were great. They were lovely to deal with - kind and caring - and sent photos every day which was really reassuring. I like that the dogs are taken out in groups (if that suits their temperament) to run off some energy, although it’s clear from the photos and reports that our dog spent most of her time cuddling up to the staff instead! Altogether I was very happy with the experience and we will definitely use them again.

Romeo was in my opinion looked after very well whilst I was away during a very hot weather period. I was worried about him but I was reassured by the regular updates and photos of him. He came out of ROYVON looking very pleased with himself and looking really well.

Iyla settled in straight away. We watched her run around the exercise area and enjoy herself, before we left.

On collection Iyla was happy and had obviously been well cared for. We would be happy to bring Iyla back.

We have struggled to find overnight care for our 14 year old JR as she doesn’t interact well with other dogs or humans and a number of other places didn’t work out for her.

We knew she liked her stay at Bridgend when she licked R goodbye as we left. Other than the vet have never seen Meg allow another human to stroke her in this way. Finally after many years we will be able to book a holiday!

The whole process from booking to drop off to pick up is all very simple and we know our dog is in the best hands.

The senior handler Meg was amazing from start to finish! Right from the start she was so informative, filled me with complete confidence, gave a tour of the facilities and explained operations on site. My dog was taken straight out to the play area whilst doing the tour and he settled with no hesitation which further filled me with confidence. Upon collecting my dog Meg yet again was so thorough in all her information and the evaluation form provided was completely outstanding practice! I find it difficult trusting anyone with my working line GSD let alone strangers and the staff were completely amazing with him with no issues! Will definitely be using this place for any play days or boarding in future! Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Our dog Bailey is a very nervous and reactive dog and we were extremely anxious leaving her not knowing how she would get on. Tilly one of the trainers was really reassuring and she put in a lot of effort to gain Baileys trust. So much so in less than 12 hours Bailey was providing drive by kisses to her!

If you have a reactive dog and worried about whether they can be boarded we cannot recommend Royvon enough!

All the staff are very kind and friendly and they all really really love the dogs. My very anxious labradoodle is so well looked after and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to look after him so well.

It was my first time leaving my dog in a kennels ever and I was beyond a nervous wreck! The staff at Royvon were fantastic! Updating me every day and letting me know what Killian was up to, I am extremely happy with how well they took after my beloved pet and can’t wait to work with them again!

I came for a site visit before booking my very nervous rescue dog in for an overnight “test sleepover” (!!) in August and a longer stay over Christmas. Tilly was amazing - completely reassured me that the Royvon team are dedicated to understanding your dog and ensuring they get the very best care. Highly recommend.

Anna made us feel at ease from the assessment, she understood what was needed from the start. Billy was a very bouncy, inquisitive boy, Anna reassured us that he would be the same Billy at the end of his training, she was right. Really helpful advice and tips, it is a work in progress, however with the training Anna and the team put in to both Billy’s training and mine I feel we are on our way. Thank you

My dog has just come back from a mini holiday which he absolutely loved. Was lovely to have regular updates and photos to show how happy he was and playing with his doggy and human friends..Felt at ease the whole time he was there. Highly recommend.

Our dog has a lovely time with all the staff making such a fuss of him. We can relax on our holiday knowing he’s having a lovely holiday as well

From point of enquiry about boarding for our two dogs Mabel and Albie, the communication from the team has been amazing and so helpful. It was an easy booking process and I loved that we could make the stay as bespoke as we wanted to suit our dogs best, enabling them to follow a similar routine to when they are at home.
This is the first time we have left our dogs but would not hesitate to use Royvon again. Every member of staff we met showed their passion for working with dogs and were true experts. We collected our dogs yesterday after a 10 day stay and it was evident they had been so well cared for. We loved the updates whilst we were away, ranging from photos to written reports which were so reassuring. It was also clear that they really got to know Mabel and Albie as their observations and comments were spot on, also showing that both dogs were relaxed and settled in the boarding environment and with the staff that cared for them. A special thanks to Millie and Sofia who spent a lot of time with them. Mabel and Albie send kisses!
We would not hesitate to recommend and are already looking forward to booking them in again.

After a really positive start with an overnight evaluation earlier in the year I had confidence in sending in my 2 yr old GSD, Lola, to Royvon.

Lola is extremely protective of her family and doesn’t take too readily to others so leaving her for 13 nights away from home was always going to feel a little stressful.

Or so I thought.

The expertise and knowledge of all the staff, combined with an individualised approach to Lola’s needs, both physical and emotional, created an environment that ensured Lola felt safe and comfortable with her new friends and environment.

I received daily photos of her playing and enjoying cuddles (very important as Lola loves human company and cuddles are essential) and, importantly, her face and body language was happy and relaxed.
I was kept updated about her food intake and written reports too, all of which reassured me and left me free to enjoy my own holiday.

I booked a selection of activities each day, a woodland walk, group play and 1:1 training sessions with the brilliant Kelsey, as well as enrichment. Seeing photos / film clips each day of my little (big!) girl enjoying these and engaging with lots of different members of staff and other pups was so rewarding - she wasn’t stuck in a kennel all day every day but was enjoying new experiences and increasing her confidence in being away from me. It really was a little holiday for Lola too.
I also used the Royvon pet taxi service which was very helpful and Lola was returned to me and a full handover given by the lovely Yvonne who had clearly made a special bond with Lola. To see Lola make special human friends outside of her immediate family really melts my heart.
It’s clear the high level love and attention Lola received whilst at Royvon was of an exceptional standard. Absolutely first class care.
Lola looked very healthy upon returning home and still her happy fun loving personality unchanged - a testament surely to the wonderful hard work of all those at Royvon.
When I tell others about Royvon I explain it is more of a doggy retreat rather than a kennel.
Those who know me know how Lola is my whole world, so leaving her just anywhere is not an option. I’m so glad to have found this place. I think Lola is rather happy about it too. My huge thanks to all at Royvon.
