Your dog is in safe hands
My rescue dog Bella can be reactive and anxious in new situations. I know that the people at Royvon will take their time with her so that her stay away from home goes well. I value the daily information - photos, feeding and general updates - and I could see that Bella was relaxed and enjoying herself on her walks. I highly recommend Royvon.

They Just Care…
This is the 4th stay for our Pip and frankly I wouldn’t trust anywhere else to take care of her.
Great facilities, staff who care and understand about dogs…she always loves it there and we can go on holiday safe in the knowledge that she is looked after.
If these guys are within driving distance I would urge you to check them out…you and your furry friend will not be disappointed

I cannot express how grateful I am to…
I cannot express how grateful I am to everyone at Royvon. My male Staffie X is dog and people reactive and he is an anxious boy. My daughter got married in April and we were desperate to have some where for him to go. They were the only facility that didn’t turn him away. We started off doing half day daycare, progressing to full day. He had 2 favourite handlers. Moving forward to last week, we got to enjoy an overseas holiday, he is now everyone’s favourite, sits on their lap and gives bum wiggles to anyone who passes by. He even has doggy friends too. Thank you, thank you Royvon Team. You have literally changed our lives.

Exceptional happy stay
Easy to book, Staff respond to your queries in a reasonable time.
My Sebbie always has an enjoyable stay and staff give him the attention he needs. He always comes back tired after enjoying his walks, exercising and meeting new friends.
My Sebbie is my world and I would never choose another place.!!
Also like to add Royvon meet the needs of big dogs, which other kennels do not accept. Sebbie is a male Doberman who has played at Royvon with other Dobermans, German Shepherds and Labrador’s.

Welcoming, caring and efficient
I hsve used Royvon for a few years now when I have gone on business, holiday or.more lateley due to an operation. They have always handled my requests efficiently and have looked after my 2 rotties with great care. One of them is diabetic and requires insulin daily so it is a big ask and not many are willing to take on that responsibility.

The team at Royvon Esher are awesome!
The team at Royvon Esher are truly incredible! Our little Frenchie has stayed with them many times and they take such wonderful care of her. I am an extremely anxious pupper Mom and the time they take to check in, send messages, photos and videos to reassure me that Orphy is happy and well makes all the difference to me when I’m away. I can relax, knowing she’s in the best (caring) hands when I’m not with her. We’ve found a home away from home for Orphy and she absolutely loves her Royvon family!

A Superior Boarding Experience
Our dogs have returned to us looking great! Very happy and relaxed. This clearly was a great experience for them and we are extremely grateful!
Loved the care and attention given before, during and at pick up. The chance to tailor your package for each individual dog was perfect and allowed us to feel relaxed that they were getting what they needed to be happy and content.
We will happily use Royvon again and recommend to anyone wanting to board their dog.

Reassuring
Despite going totally blind only the week before her visit the team took it all in their stride, sent me regular reassuring reports allowing me to completely relax whilst on holiday. When collected my dog was clearly totally at ease in her temporary home.

Still no communication received
I remain extremely disappointed — not only with the outcome of Bear’s training, but also with how our serious concerns have been handled throughout.
Your response has failed to meaningfully address the core issues we raised: Bear’s severe behavioural regression, the clear gap between what was promised and what was delivered, and the lasting emotional and financial impact this experience has had on us. Most notably, you have still not offered any form of refund or tangible resolution — despite the fact that the programme did not deliver the results we were assured it would. There has been no urgency or concern shown for ensuring we have been properly supported. This lack of follow-up further highlights the poor aftercare and dismissive approach we’ve experienced.
In your public reply, you claimed Bear’s case couldn’t initially be identified because it was booked under my partner’s name. Yet you had no issue matching it to my public review and responding in full. This contradiction is concerning.
When we initially enrolled Bear, after he displayed reactivity towards large dogs on walks. After speaking with your team on the phone, we were reassured that you were the right experts to help us, and that we needed to act quickly before Bear reached 12 months old. We were optimistic that the investment in training would result in noticeable progress.
However, that hope quickly faded. When we collected Bear, we were told he still required a head collar and had made no progress toward walking on a standard lead. While this was unexpected, we accepted it. We were shown how to manage his reactivity using a ball to distract him from his triggers.
However, in the first week of returning home, Bear’s behaviour had significantly worsened from how he had been prior to the training. He became so fearful of men that he attempted to attack two individuals entering our property — a behaviour he had never displayed before training. We raised this with our trainer who could not explain it and speculated it might be territorial. That is not good enough. Something clearly changed during his stay, and we are left to deal with the consequences.
You originally promised Bear would return with “life skills and obedience to go anywhere with us.” That has not happened. In fact, Bear is now more reactive than ever — toward dogs, cats, squirrels, and most worryingly, people. We cannot walk him down the street without lunging, barking, and extreme distress. We now must use a muzzle for public safety — a level of severity that did not exist prior to your programme. This is not the result of owner inconsistency or neglect. We train Bear every single day, and we have implemented every method and tool your team advised.
You state that additional sessions were offered, but never used. This ignores critical context. We attended all sessions made available to us, and during the final session, we were told it could take a year or more of continued training before Bear reached the standard we were originally told he would achieve after the three-week programme. This is a clear contradiction of what we were sold and highlights a serious failure to set realistic expectations from the outset.
We later relocated to an incommutable distance, which made in-person visits impractical. At no point were we clearly informed that remote support was an option — this is only being raised now, in a public reply. No one reached out to explore alternative solutions or keep us engaged in the process after having zero positive results. You also claim follow-ups were made after December 1st. We received none of these. Please provide evidence of this communication. If genuine, accessible support had been offered, we would have taken it.
Referencing Romeo’s 29 five-star reviews is irrelevant to our experience. Our case is not about discrediting a trainer’s character - it’s about the programme failing to deliver on the expectations set and your business refusing to take responsibility when things go wrong. The fact that other clients had positive experiences does not change what we went through, nor does it excuse the handling of this situation since.
We are now thousands of pounds worse off, with a dog who is more reactive and difficult to manage than before. We are seeking additional help elsewhere at further expense — something we never anticipated when we trusted your service.
I am once again requesting a partial refund as a fair and reasonable resolution. This is not only warranted based on the outcome but necessary in the absence of genuine follow-up, support, or resolution. You sold us a solution and did not deliver. Ignoring or deflecting that is unacceptable from a business that claims to be committed to “love, respect, and lasting change.”

I have a very nervous and reactive young Doberman dog and they have been so helpful and helping him settle in by introducing him to daycare 1st to get him used to the place before he stays there while we go away they have gone above and beyond to make sure my dog tofu is happy comfortable and safe

Royvon Bridgend! 10/10 5***** MOST AMAZING STAFF
I don’t even know where to begin with this review, if I could give more than 5* I would. From start to finish this place was absolutely OUTSTANDING. From first contacting them to picking up my little princess cockapoo they were all amazing.
I have an 18 month Cockapoo called Bella, we had booked a holiday a year prior and booked Bella in with a dog sitter, we knew how anxious Bella was so we took her for a trial with the dog sitter, within 15mins we were told to go and collect her, not because she was nasty but because she was getting so upset and so unsettled that the dog sitter said they couldn’t look after her for a week, we contacted another dog sitter and they did the same again. We had already basically accepted that the holiday would have to be cancelled but as a last minute stab in the dark I contacted Royvon, and that was the best decision I made. I didn’t think they would be able to have Bella at such short notice, but from the first time speaking to Rhiann on the phone I instantly knew before even meeting her that she would be perfect for my little Bella, she went above and beyond and went out of her way to make it happen, moved things around to make sure Bella had a place stay (and also we wanted Bella to have the luxury kennel so she also made that happen as well!). We dropped Bella off the day before we flew to Greece and we were so scared and worried (more than the dog!). We almost didn’t go away because we couldn’t cope leaving her which we know isn’t healthy! And probably the reason she is so anxious and nervous. We told Rhiann and the team that Bella was the most loving dog, no aggression or anything just purely shy and nervous. We booked her for training during her stay as well not only because she needed it but because we wanted to make sure she was occupied and tired at the end of the day. When I say EVERY SINGLE DAY, the team updated us and sent photos and videos, let us know how she was, Rhiann even emailing me at 10pm with a google drive folder with pictures and videos. We felt so at ease that Bella was with these guys wonderful people, they’re pure angels and clearly absolutely love what they do. I am so glad that the other dog sitters fell through because I knew 100% that Bella was being looked after properly with trained people. We went to collect Bella an hour early, as soon as we landed back in England, and we were so happy to see her, and I could tell by the way she was with Rhiann, Kiera and Meg that she loved them, but it was so funny because she was obviously anxious when we weren’t there but as soon as we were there to collect her she was licking them, tail wagging and so happy. I also loved how Rhiann cared so much about Bella and her being nervous that she allowed Bella in the office with her during the day so she wasn’t alone.
Since getting home, there is a huge improvement with Bella and other people, she now allows people to stroke her instead of backing away. She’s better on her lead and we will DEFINITELY be booking in for more training and there is nowhere else I would want Bella to stay whilst we are not around.
