Thank you for taking the time to share your ongoing concerns. I’m genuinely sorry that you remain so disappointed with your experience, and I want to assure you that we have never ignored your feedback or dismissed the seriousness of the situation.

In our previous reply to Naomi’s review, I outlined a clear route forward: to re-engage with us so we could continue supporting Bear’s training journey, including remotely if necessary. Unfortunately, since that time, we have received no follow-up contact from either of you — not by phone, email, or any other method.

As Managing Director, I take full responsibility for the standards and outcomes we deliver and remain open to honest communication that helps us do better.

Clarifying the Facts

For the sake of clarity and fairness, I would like to address a few points directly:

Booking & Identification: Your initial review was submitted under Naomi’s name, and Bear’s booking was under yours (Lee Bristow). That is why the case was not immediately matched in our system. Once we made the connection, we responded in full with as much transparency as possible.

Support Offered: Bear's trainer, Romeo, remained in contact with you until early December and offered four additional complimentary sessions (valued at over £500) beyond your included follow-ups — specifically because Bear’s case was complex. Unfortunately, after his messages on December 1st, no further response was received from you.

Behaviour History: During Bear’s stay, he showed no signs of aggression or fear towards humans. He was handled daily by multiple team members without incident. The reported fear of men only emerged after he returned home. Romeo was open in acknowledging Bear’s challenges as a high-drive, working-line German Shepherd — a type that often requires extended, consistent work even beyond intensive programmes.

Owner Involvement: We understand that you have continued to train Bear, and we respect that effort. That said, behaviour modification cases — especially those involving reactivity and fear-based responses — require long-term engagement, flexibility, and ongoing communication between owners and trainers. We did all we could to keep that communication open.

Remote Support: While in-person sessions were no longer practical after your move, we remain available for remote support, and this offer still stands today. We regret if that wasn’t made clear enough earlier — that’s a communication gap on our side we are working to improve.

Refund Requests: You are now requesting a partial refund based on your perception of the outcome. While we appreciate your position, the training you invested in was delivered in full — including time, resources, reporting, and follow-up sessions. We went beyond the agreed programme in an effort to support Bear’s continued development. We do not offer guaranteed outcomes in behavioural cases, as every dog and situation is unique, and much depends on how behaviours are managed over time.

Our Commitment Remains

Lee, I know this isn’t the outcome you hoped for — and we never want a family to feel let down after putting their trust in us. But please understand that we remain open to helping you.
