I received an order late after it was lost in transit and delivered to the wrong address. It did not fit. I immediately emailed customer service for help and got sent into circles of contradicting emails long response times and refusal to give me a refund for my unworn item. I would never order from this retailer again.

They dont accept international returns which is against all consumer right rules.

Their return policies aren't clearly stated on the website regarding international shipping.
A few hours after purchasing one of their items, I discovered they don't accept returns on international purchases, and I immediately wrote a cancellation request to customer service before they shipped the order.
Needless to say, a day after the request, I saw that the shipping label had been created. A dispute will be opened due to their return policies, which violate European law.

I purchased a coat on (slight) sale that ended up not fitting as expected. The sleeves were far longer than what worked for my body type (I'm 5'4), and this wasn’t clear to me from the photos, which led with shots of the sleeves pushed up to the elbows, and then shots of the model with her hands in pockets, and then finally some full shots of the sleeves. When I attempted a return, I learned that sale items are only eligible for store credit or exchange, with no exceptions.

Customer service was inflexible, and my concerns about fit and representation weren’t really addressed. Only the policy was repeated. I was left with store credit I didn’t want.

I’d strongly caution buyers to avoid purchasing sale items unless they’re comfortable being locked into credit. The return process is designed to funnel you there.

I also have to wonder why this was the only coat on sale in the store, and not even for that much money off. Is it because customers don't want a slightly "off" item, and they are trying to offload it? I can't say for sure, but I would not buy from them again.

(Also the quality of the material was a bit cheaper than I expected).

The jacket was shipped quickly and the quality is nice unfortunately it was long really long and I DID initiate a return process i got one email stating they will get back to me . Crickets . Lol I’m going to keep it and hem it myself because it seemed to be a HASSLE to return so if your tall enough i would recommend. Unfortunately I won’t be purchasing from them again because there is no customer service.

I'm very disappointed in the customer service team at Rue Sophie. I ordered some pieces for a funeral which took a VERY long time to arrive, in 2 separate packages. While this was within their international orders time frame (6-18 business days), this is quite a lengthy window which I did not take into consideration, and they arrived after the event so I could not wear them. The clothes did not fit me very well so I requested a refund - not realizing that they do NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OR OFFER REFUNDS FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS. This is buried at the end of their Returns policy info and I missed it at the time of ordering so buyer beware. I have asked them to make an exception in light of the circumstances and I haven't had a response in almost 2 weeks. From this I take it they are just ignoring me. It's just awful customer service on so many levels. As an international customer I like their clothing and I would have been keen to order from them in future if they did not have such a strange no-return/refund policy. And now they have fully alienated me by not replying. Beautiful clothes, ugly behaviour.

I placed an order for over £100 in July and have still not received my item (Rue Sophie acknowledges that no item has been delivered to me). I am in the UK and despite numerous emails to customer service, I have not received a refund. I have been told that returns are not permitted from UK customers, despite the Ts & Cs on my order confirmation stating clearly that returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Of course, this returns policy is rather academic as I haven't received an item to return some 7 weeks after placing my order! I am concerned that this company is a scam based on my poor experience to date, it takes customer service many weeks to respond and the responses are inaccurate and unhelpful.
