I found the staff very welcoming and friendly. Hardly any waiting time and the optician patient and thorough.

All the staff are very attentive and friendly.
I have many concerns regarding my eyes and they listen, give advice and help alleviate some concerns with the best eye exams I've ever received.

The optician was friendly and professional. She was clear in her instructions to me.
She explained everything she was doing and the purpose of each part of the eye examination.

I had a mixed experience at Woodfalls. The optometrist was very good, friendly and efficient and conducted her tests well. However, when I went back to pick up my glasses, I asked if there was anything I needed to know about my new glasses as I had never worn varifocals before. The optician (a different person than the women who did the tests) said no. However in fact they were very hard to adjust to, leaving me severely dizzy, nauseous and with a headache, and the branch had shut so I could not get any further advice from them. They were very kind when I went back to complain a few days later, and said that I should have been given a full explanation of how to acclimatise to the new glasses, but it was notable that they couldn’t find the card the customer is supposed to be shown where all the information was written down. They seem like a well-meaning place and promised to learn from this mistake; I very much hope that they have.
