I booked my Salt Escape in Menorca largely because of the positive reviews I read online, and I must say the experience lived up to the hype! Amy and Mike are genuinely kind and fun, and they clearly have impeccable taste. Our boxing/yoga instructor Ailsa was also a blast. The HIIT workouts definitely pushed me to my limits, as I am more accustomed to running, but I left feeling stronger for it.

The villa itself was exquisite, and secluded despite being only 20 minutes from the airport. I couldn't believe how stunning and green the surrounding countryside was. Every inch of the property was thoughtfully curated and immaculately maintained. The food was delicious and beautiful. When I vacation, I rarely stay in one place for more than 3 days, but staying here for a week was a real treat. I honestly thought to myself, "This must be how celebrities live." Thank you, Amy and Mike, for bringing together this unforgettable experience.

I just completed my first Salt Escapes in Menorca, Spain. My sister and brother-in-law did it about a year ago and fell in love with it and were a big reason I decided to give it a go. I had pretty high expectations going into it and all of them were met, if not exceeded. The Villa we were in was straight out of a movie. Everything about it down to the littlest detail was 5 stars. The food really exceeded my expectations. The quality, presentation and taste of everything was fabulous but the fact that most of it was farm to table, picked that morning in some cases, made it even more special. The workouts are quite challenging, especially if you don’t do quick, high intensity full body circuits. The coaches push you but are reasonable too and you feel amazing after every workout. The fellow escapees are also all amazing and fun to spend a week with. I look forward to doing another one and would highly recommend this to all. A big thank you to the owners/coaches/everything’s, Mike and Amy. Thank you for an unforgettable week.

As this was my second Salt Escapes trip, I didn’t feel my expectations could be surpassed, merely met. I was very wrong.
There was something truly special about the Menorca experience. The villa was out of this world, somewhere I will be very disappointed if I can’t return to. The staff could not have looked after us any better, way beyond a 5 star stay. The food has to be enjoyed to be believed and those views, that pool, (that bar!) meant I could have stayed forever!
As I said in my last review, Amy and Mike manage to create something unique with bespoke touches like no other. Your trip will long stay in your mind with those pictures and tunes in your head. You can exercise anywhere and with anyone but this offers so much more.
I was so lucky to have such a great group of people around me, some of whom I’m genuinely proud to now call friends. There is absolutely no doubt that I will be booking again. I was genuinely very sad leaving!

Salt Escapes have taken me to Greece, Spain and Costa Rica, and have been incredible every time.

The locations and villas are always breath taking. Food is always superb, healthy and in abundance (with some treats too!).

Amy and Mike are wonderful hosts who are constantly positive and provide bundles of energy

Workouts are great fun, varied and cater to all levels. In between workouts there's always a lot of chill and socialising to be had.

And boat day....well...

These trips are amazing and I would strongly recommend to book if you are considering.

Had the most amazing week with the Salt Escapes crew in Zakynthos! Mike, Amy and Beth were incredible coaches and the food and Villa were truly 5 star! Would highly recommend to anyone who loves this type of escape and I can’t wait to book my next trip with them.

I have been on a few fitness retreats but NONE compare to Salt Escapes. I have just got back from a week in Greece with Amy and Mike and am full to the brim with amazing memories! Salt Escapes allows you to holiday solo in a safe and luxurious way...Amy and Mike make you feel so welcome and the it's so lovely meeting a whole bunch of like minded friends on your trip. I cannot recommend Salt Escapes more, I'm so so delighted to have found them. The villa was GORGEOUS, the chef was so talented and cooked amazing home cooked Greek food every day for us, the staff cleaned our rooms beautifully and gave us clean fresh white towels daily, the workouts were challenging but oh so fun, I have to say...the standard was up there. There is no doubt I will be returning to do a Salt Escape every year now..it has been my favourite holiday in a long time, I absolutely loved every minute! Thank you Amy and Mike for all the care, thought, consideration and passion you put in to every part of the retreat..it doesn't go unnoticed. You two are wonderful. Keep doing what you're doing! See you next year!!!!!!

Just got home from Zakynthos and couldn’t be happier with the experience! Mike, Amy, Beth and the rest of the group were amazing. The Villa was insane and the workouts were incredible. I left with genuine friends and I will definitely be coming back. Can’t wait for next time!

I spent a week in Zakynthos with Mike, Amy and Beth and I couldn't recommend it enough.

It was so so enjoyable and whether you are going solo or going with friends you are guaranteed to meet some great people. The days were varied with lots of different things to do - no one day was the same. There was a great balance of workouts and downtime. The workouts were very tough but you always felt great afterwards and we were fueled well with some delicious food by the chef in the villa. The food was very good for breakfast lunch and dinner, lots to choose from and no ask was too much.

The yoga was amazing - you could really tell that each of the flows were so well thought through depending on our level of activity that day. If you are an avid yogi or simply just want to stretch after class you will really love this, Beth makes sure to give both advanced and beginner options throughout the class.

The villa was amazing, it was a real pinch me moment staying there. The setting was stunning and it had everything you could need - great rooms, pool, beautiful outdoor dining area and more!

I will definitely be back for another week - you will not regret booking this trip!

Couldn't recommend enough!!!

I spent the week in beautiful Zakynthos with Mike, Amy and their yoga teacher Beth. It was a week full of fitness, food, fun and adventures with the most amazing group of people who are all like-minded and made the experience even better.

The food was delicious, and the workouts were one of a kind - I'm used to F45 workouts but these were next level! Absolutely recommend for someone who wants to challenge themselves. These were followed by yoga sessions done by the loveliest yoga teacher Beth, think I have a new found love for yoga now!!

Mike and Amy are the best trainers, hosts and everything in-between and made the experience just perfect.

I would love to return in the future - I already have my eye on Bali!!

A fantastic week away packed full of sun, fitness, great food and even better company!
Mike, Amy and Beth provided a great week of HIIT workouts, team workouts, running and yoga, catering for all fitness levels and in a very inviting and inclusive manner.

This was my second Salt Escapes holiday and I’m planning more! I would recommend to anyone thinking of meeting like minded people, enjoys a challenge, whilst also wanting the opportunity to relax and enjoy excellent hosting with top notch food.

It’s great trip for solo travellers, part of a couple and part of a group!

The most incredible week ever!! We spent a week in Zakynthos with Mike and Amy (who are the dream team!) and it was a trip of a lifetime.

I will 1000% be coming back! Everything is organised so well.
The Villa is beautiful, the scenery is stunning, the workouts are intense (in a good way!) and cater for all levels, the yoga was exactly what we needed to stretch and recover during the day and the group of people on my trip were just the dream!
The food… it’s so so good, fresh gorgeous Greek authentic food, lots of it, and prepared by a great in house team!

If you are on the fence about booking - DO IT! You will not regret it!!

I can’t put into words just how amazing Salt Escapes is! Mike & Amy have truly created something special, bringing together like-minded people for the most incredible experience.

I’ve done two trips (Zakynthos and Costa Rica) and am already planning trip number three! Salt Escapes is the perfect balance of adventure, fitness and fun. The team are so welcoming, the workouts are challenging, but, rewarding, and there is good balance of activity and downtime.

If you’re even thinking about it, just do it!

I cannot say enough great things about my week at salt escapes and especially Mike & Amy, the dynamic duo, who run the whole week trip so seamlessly!

It was my first ever fitness retreat and it won’t be my last, I would highly recommend anyone who is considering it. Such an unreal experience and I have made some great friends along the way :)

Everything was so well organised yet the week didn’t feel too structured or restricted, we could relax like you would a normal holiday but with an adventurous streak. Everyone was made to feel at ease and I have come back feeling super positive & pumped. Exactly what I needed.

The people, the food, the villa, the workouts were all just amazing and I cannot wait to book my next salt escape trip!

This was my second time on a Salt Escape holiday in Zante. I was lucky enough to go at the end of August 2020 and had the most amazing week of my life. When a friend asked if I fancied sharing a room with her on the September 2021 retreat I jumped at the chance.
I gave a five star review last year, and give the same this year.
I’ve now been on my own and with a friend and can say it doesn’t really make a difference. It’s a group holiday, so you act as a group.
The villa is stunning - brilliant location, beautifully designed, with the most breath taking sunsets. And an amazing housekeeper who welcomed me back with a huge hug. It feels like a family home in no time.
The workouts are a brilliant mixture and Amy and Mike adapt them for your ability, and push you based on your own ability. They’re mostly on the tennis court or helipad, with views of the sea. And the yoga is a blissful treat to stretch and chill.
The run to and views of the ship wreck were just as special the second time. As was the brilliant boat trip.
The restaurant we went to was outstanding - the views, food and cocktails.
The attention to detail that Mike and Amy put into these holidays make them what they are. They work really hard to make sure everyone gets what they want from the week - and only choose the very best locations and accommodation for them, incorporating lots of little extras that make it the most amazing week.
I could go on and on.
If you are thinking of booking, just do it! I’ve been twice on the exact same retreat and would go back again and again. It will be of the most special experiences you’ll ever have.

Beautiful location in a relatively unspoilt area of Zakinthos island. All the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and always willing to tailor workouts, experiences and food to individual needs. Good workouts that were well programmed to be an ideal mix of challenging and enjoyable, fostering a good group dynamic and promoting camaraderie and teamwork. By the end of the trip it felt like I'd known the group a lifetime, rather than six days! A dinner out at Nobelos and a boat day allowed us to feel like we'd experienced some of the island, and not just spent the week in a villa, albeit a very nice one. Would highly recommend Salt Escapes for anyone that enjoys fitness, meeting new people and experiencing something off the beaten track! A massive thank you to Amy, Mike and Char as well as those as Villa Amara for such an enjoyable week!

I joined the Zakynthos trip and it was incredible! From start to finish I had the best time. We had a great group of like- minded people and we had so much fun over the week - working hard during our workouts but also relaxing at the villa, and having so many laughs on boat day where we got to see a bit more of the island. The food at the villa was absolutely delicious and so varied each day, and we also had a really lovely meal out one evening. Everyday the workouts were different - from running to a beautiful viewpoint, boxing on the helipad, strength work on the tennis courts and even pushing the car up a hill (as a group!) - I loved it all, and have come away from the trip feeling much fitter, stronger and more energised. I also really enjoyed the yoga, which was something I’d never spent too much time on before but was the perfect addition to the trip. The villa is beautiful and has everything you could want. Mike and Amy really looked after us and are so thoughtful in everything they do, and also made sure I had an amazing birthday whilst on the trip. I honestly can’t recommend Salt Escapes enough - I will 100% be booking onto another trip!

I’ve been to few Salt Escapes retreats and going to join Amy and Mike again in the future. Its everything you would want from a fitness retreat. The workouts are tough and challenging, the food is fresh and delicious, and locations are incredibly beautiful. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a healthy getaway and a chance to meet great likeminded people.

Best vacation ever!! This was my second Salt Escapes and it was amazing.

Last year I joined the Salt Escapes to Crete by myself. I joined the trip not knowing anyone and in a physical condition where I didn’t workout. I was a bit scared that it would be too tough for me and too much of a bootcamp, but the way Mike and Amy does the workouts it suits all fitness levels and they make sure this is you vacation so there is plenty of chilltime.

One year later, and I decided to join the Zakynthos Salt Escape. Going into a second amazing week with the fantastic Salt Escapes crew that literally changed my life. One week of workouts, insane laughs, new friends, food beyond measure (prepared with local ingredients by an amazing private chef) and of course boat day in the bluest waters I have ever seen. A week with Salt Escapes changes lives, and you will have friends for life (still close friends with the amazing people from my first trip).

If you are thinking of going on a Salt Escapes, stop thinking - just go!

Salt Escape truly is the best fitness retreat out there! Mike and Amy are really welcoming and lovely and the food was absolutely amazing! Workouts are tough and challenging but no need for any particular previous experience/fitness level. Have recommended to all my friends and will certainly go again! Thank you both 🙌🏻
