Unfortunately, I can only give 5 stars—otherwise I would have given even more.
First of all, Scandinavian Outdoor offered a very good price for the products I wanted. But what really made this experience unforgettable was something else entirely.
For years, whenever I place an order or book a hotel and they ask if they can do something special, I always request a nice message accompanied by a picture of David Hasselhoff. Almost no one ever follows through…
…but Scandinavian Outdoor did.
It genuinely made my day and put a big smile on my face. So thank you, team Scandinavian Outdoor, for the great shopping experience—and for the unexpected joy and care you showed in honoring my request. Absolute legends.

Jag har beställt ett par skor som aldrig har levererats, men trots detta har företaget valt att avsluta mitt ärende utan att lösa problemet.
Ingen ska behöva betala för varor de inte har fått. Det här är helt oacceptabelt och skapar en stor otrygghet som kund.
Jag har försökt få hjälp flera gånger men känner mig inte lyssnad på. Istället lämnas jag med ansvaret för något som inte är mitt fel.
Om detta inte löses snarast kommer jag att ta ärendet vidare.
Jag förväntar mig att företaget tar ansvar och kontaktar mig med en lösning.
Uppdatering: företaget tog inte ansvar och jag får betala 1600:- för skor jag inte sett röken av. Varnar stark

The best pole I have for 20 years
After 20 years with BD trekking poles, this is the first time I’ve bought poles from this company (Leki-Leki Khumbu Lite). I was a bit worried about making the switch, and some of the online reviews mentioned a small grip, discomfort after a full day of hiking, and a need to get used to them. But none of that turned out to be true. They were comfortable from the very first step. Extremely stable and they don’t collapse (you just need to tighten the screw once, and that’s it). Amazingly lightweight, yet still very stable and not moving in winds of 60+ km/h. The grip is insanely comfortable. I have absolutely no negative feedback about these poles. On my first off-trail hike with them, I did 30 kilometers of pure enjoyment—under a nonstop sandstorm and in harsh desert conditions—and they were what allowed me to walk steadily. Even the strap is very comfortable, despite having no padding. There’s something about the fabric that’s just made right. BUY IT! In addition to all that, the store’s team was wonderful. Buy from this store! The staff helped me a lot throughout the purchase process. The shipping was very fast—and it arrived just before my trip that same week. It’s absolutely clear to me that this is my preferred store for online shopping. I will definitely buy from them again!

DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE IN THE UK
DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE IN THE UK. This is actually quite a good store but they use UPS to ship to the UK who are monstrously expensive - do not believe the small charges on the website - they will balloon massively. Allow an additional 50% on top of the charges. Allow a further three days to try to get hold of UPS to work out why the charges are so high.

Thank you for your honest feedback. We understand how frustrating high import charges can feel, especially when the final amount charged by the courier is higher than expected.
For UK orders, we aim to clearly state at checkout that VAT, duties and courier handling fees are not included in our prices and will be collected by UPS upon import. Unfortunately, the exact final amount is determined by local authorities and the carrier, and we do not currently receive the precise figure in advance.
That said, we are actively working on improving this process so that, in the future, customers would be able to pay all import-related charges directly to us at checkout. This would make the total cost more transparent and the delivery experience smoother.
If there is anything we can still assist you with regarding your order, our customer service team is happy to help.

Huono ja ylimielinen palvelu. Ensimmäinen myyjä kaivoi tikkua sormestaan ja samalla oli erittäin ylimielisen oloinen reppuja esitellessään. Kun olimme retkirepun valinneet olisimme ostaneet myös laskettelumonot, jolloin myyjä sanoi kahdelle toiselle "nämä haluaisivat monot, mutta on myöhä" -> "joo saatte monot, jos minä valitsen ne - tulkaa myöhemmin uudestaan". Kauppa oli vielä auki ja aikaakin lähemmäs 8 min tässä vaiheessa. Tympeitä kavereita kaikki kolme myyjää, naamat nutturalla. Monet laskettelutarvikkeet kaupasta ostettu, mutta eipä tarvitse enää täältä ostaa. Reppu jäi ostamatta myös, sen verran suututti.
Hyvin tuntuu menevän, kun kaupanteko ei kelpaa, vaikka asiakas on paikanpäällä ja halukas/valmis ostamaan.
