Steer well clear!!terrible quality and awful service!!
Steer well clear!!always Owen Shoei but decided I want a flip so went for the c4 pro and bought the comms that goes with it…this helmet is awful!!I would if returned it but the stickers we’re taken of the helmet so couldn’t take it back.within the 1st 6 weeks the comms system stopped working and had to be replaced ,luckily em the warranty sorted this but I received my helmet back with more scratches (I had a few when I send it but came back with more,they’d taken pictures when they got the helmet but couldn’t provide any of the new scratches then the chin strap splits completely and they’ll very kindly repair it as a goodwill gesture as apparently it’s been dropped and has a few scratches.the helmet has never been dropped but I would expect the odd minor scuff on a used item.this makes abit of a mockery of there 5 year warranty if the helmet has to be in pristine condition for it to be a warranty job!!all in all stay well clear!!
Schuberth-Good helmets,very bad coms, very bad support
I bought a C3 Pro with the Cardo SRC intercom system a few years ago. This is an intercom that, no matter what you can say, in terms of sound and call quality nobody can beat them.
So, since I needed a second helmet, I thought buying the latest Schuberth's product (the C4 Pro Carbon) but they decided to move to SENA's communications systems and therefore I preferred to asked before Schuberth support if the two systems were compatible. They answer "yes, no problem, just pair them as Universal Pairing".
Let me tell you somethings about that.
Universal pairing indeed work (only with the SC1 Advanced), but the overall quality of the SENA is so bad that you're always listening to pops, clicks and cracks all the time.
So, I tried another test and called someone with the helmet while still in my home, I was alone, no noise around, and still couldn't be heard on the other side of the line. I had to shout to be heard.
The sound coming from the speakers looked like it was coming from a baby toy, no bass at all and very (but believe me, very distorted).
Forget sharing music, it doesn't work also (at least between SENA and CARDO).
Oh, and one more thing, tried to reach Cardo for help they say that their product is a Schuberth product so no support on their side either.
Send Schuberth just another email for help and never had any response, they stopped giving me support also.
I lost 71euros in shipping for returning this very bad experience with Schuberth.
If I could I’d give 0 stars to this brand
Schwache Leistung, null Kommunikation
Bin sehr enteuscht. Habe 2 Polzter für Helme bestellt. Es gäbe kein kaum Feedback für die Bestellung und nach 2 Wochen habe ich nachgefragt wann ich das Paket erwarten kann. Wir würden gesagt das es nächste Woche versandt werden soll. OK etwas spät aber ok. Eine Woche später keine Email kein nix auf Nachfrage ob mein Paket versandt wurde keine Antwort. Habe meine Bestellung storniert.
Geld war nach 2 Tagen wieder auf dem Konto und ein Tag später auch die Bestätigung das die Bestellung storniert wurde keine Entschuldigung nix. Sehr enteuschend
Alt for meget vindstøj.
Jeg har købt en C4 pro carbon og kan hverken høre musik, kørselsvejledning eller hvad der bliver sagt i telefonen, hvis jeg kører mere end 100 km/t.

What an operation! After months of trying to solve my problem, I sent Schuberth the following message in messenger and recieved no reply.
"Ok, I tried, I really did. I owned 4 helmets of yours. I have SRC C3 Pro communications systems in all of them, upgraded visors on all and basically a huge investment. I don"t know how many helmets and systems I sold for you promoting your product but no more. One of my comm systems started acting up so I reached out to you. You said contact Schuberth USA so I did they told me it was out of warranty and there was NOTHING they could do as they don't repair them. I spoke to Cardo and they said they don't repair those systems. I tried numerous times to get Schuberth USA to help and they never followed through on anything. You in Germany have been zero help so l guess this is the product support I can expect from a "top product", no thanks. Not to mention, your user manuals are confusing and cryptic. Going to sell out all of my Schuberth gear and go another route this spring. Thanks for NOTHING Schuberth. Goodbye."
Way to loose a devoted customer.
In researchingthe replacements I am planning to buy I stumbled upon the fact that they were planning on discontinuing my equipment all together. So again I wrote them and nothing.
"So, I guess your plans were to discontinue the src c3 pro system? Wow, thanks for letting me know! This explains a lot of why you don't give a damn about me as a customer. Thanks again for nothing! Going back to Shoei. What a shi-te show."
My advice, buy something else, anything but a Schuberth as they don't give a damn about their customers!
Nachdem sich bei meiner SC-10U das…
Nachdem sich bei meiner SC-10U das firmware-update online nicht aktualisieren ließ,setzte ich mich mit dem support per e-mail in Verbindung.
Binnen kurzer Zeit bekam ich von Fr.Hahn eine Antwort und im Anhang Ihrer e-mail die software für die Installation auf das Helm-Set.
Vorbildlich kann man dazu nur sagen.

Hallo, ich habe meinen Schuberth C4 eingeschickt zu Schubert DIREKT da der Online Händler die Reklamation bezüglich Visier abgelehnt hat. Die Mitarbeiterin Martina hat meinen Helm wieder in Stand gesetzt, Visier und Inlet! Das Ganze Kostenlos, da kann ich mich nur bedanken und freue mich ein Qualitätsprodukte gekauft zu haben. The Schuberth C4 helmet is OK, but.... the Schuberth website is a Disaster.
Just trying to locate a replacement visor on the official Schuberth site is Impossible.
Right now, if I could I would throw my drink in the webmaster's face!

Hallo an alle. Habe meinen Schuberth R2 über meinen Händler eingeschickt, da das SC1 Probleme bereitete. Die haben die Verkabelung im Helm neu eingebaut und ein Update aufgespielt. Zusätzlich wurde die von mir bemängelte Visierrastung neu justiert und ein neues Visier erhielt ich auch noch. Das Paket mit dem überholten Helm kam ca. zwei Wochen später bei mir zu Hause an. Alles kostenlos!
Das nenne ich Service.
C3 Pro Europe Yellow
Not impressed with this helmet considering the high the price I paid for it at the MCN bike show in February.
The helmet fits well but the chin strap chokes me as it has very little adjustment. The clip is fiddly to do up as the straps are so short.
Why not make longer straps that you can adjust up after putting the helmet on like cheaper helmets? You cant really understand all this until you have lived with it for a time.
The red flip up button is tucked away under the chin and again difficult to press in with gloves on. Good quality helmet but they are not quite there yet. Definitely not worth the high price tag.
Accessories such as Bluetooth are crazy prices considering the helmet already costs hundreds of pounds to buy.
Schubert fejl og mangler
Okay hjelm, men med mange fejl og problemer, som kunne løses på en god måde, men hvilket Schubert har valgt ikke at gøre.
Ikke en hjelm jeg vil investerer i igen, så hellere finde et andet mærke, hvor fabrikken accepterer, at der er fejl og så ordner dem på deres regning og ikke på kundens regning, da det er dem der har lavet fejlen fra starten af
Just...Can't be bothered.
I bought a C4 nine months ago, and so far it's been a fairly bad experience. The schuberth reputation for quietness seems to have passed this helmet by, because the thing's unbearably loud at even regular road speeds (70-80km/h), and there's very few traces of German quality anywhere. Sure, it feels nice, and the visibility is great, but the original schuberth pinlock clone was worse than useless - it trapped fog on the inside between the pinlock and the visor, making it impossible to see anything, for long periods of time. Got that replaced with a genuine pinlock on the warranty. Great. Bought a SC1A, which worked reasonably well, at least if I was just using it with my phone, and nobody else. Unless I close the lid, or receive a small bump on the helmet(and I do mean small), or drove over a speedbump a little too quickly - then it just shuts off, and sometimes won't even start again. Apparently the solution is to have the wiring harness replaced. I can't say too much about the SC1A, except that I'm glad that I got it at a massive discount, since it's annoying to use, apparently has terrible range, and is based on outdated technology, that will most likely not be updated much (meanwhile Sena is happily updating their own units with all kinds of goodies, but refuse to do so with the schuberth units, until schuberth request it - that's on Sena though).
The greatest "screw you" has been schuberths response to all this though, see they just basically washed their hands of it, and released the C4 Pro, that supposedly fixes the problems. Even if it does, I'd be weary of buying one - schuberth don't seem to believe in fixing faults, leaving you high and dry if your very expensive new helmet turns out to be bad. Sure, you can pay to have it shipped to them, but it's unlikely they will do much with it, except tell you its structurally sound, and send it back to you. Too bad it's noisy as f..., and sorry we dumped the prices on your expensive helmet, and released a new version barely a year after putting it on the market(making my helmet close to worthless), but hey, you can always just throw more money at us, and buy the fixed version, instead of the failed beta version we originally sold you.
I didn't buy a schuberth helmet because they have great looks, graphics, or highest marks in safety tests, no, I bought it because it was supposed to be a reasonably safe helmet, that was very quiet (important to me), and I figured a big German brand like schuberth would stand behind their product, and not release a shoddy product, then not offer to fix it, then wash their hands of it. Customer loyalty? Who needs that? Pah. I'd recommend you stay away from schuberth, they certainly don't seem to give a damn. Too bad, I really wanted to like the helmet. :/
Schuberth C4
Har købt en Schuberth C4 hjelm. Der er utroligt meget vindstøj i den fra ca 75 km/t og der er fler småfejl på hjelmen.
Schuberth har valgt at lancere en C4Pro mindre end et år efter C4 hvor de fejl som jeg og andre har påpeget er blevet rettet. Samtidig har de dumpet prisen på C4 så de hjelme vi har købt reelt er værdiløse.
Producenten har været totalt tavs i forhold til de klager de har fået og kun den Danske importør har lyttet og været aktiv i at finde en løsning.
