I have made about 4 orders from them in about 6 weeks of the same thing-Spanish MG gin as they are the only stockist apart from Amazon.The first order took an age, the next two were much better.I am still awaiting delivery of the fourth ordered on 29 September.I think they are highly disorganised and short-staffed-I don’t think they set off to deliberately rip people off.

Ordered a bottle over two weeks ago. Advertised that shipping takes up to 4 working days. No sign of my order despite having taken my money, and no response to my emails or messages. No order tracking etc.
Having since taken a closer look at the website I can now see poor grammar and spelling mistakes, not fitting with a professional operation.
Do not order from them.

I placed an order on the website and have been trying to find out its fate for more than a week. It seems like a scam. If you're lucky enough to read reviews before placing an order, don't even think about buying anything from this store.

Ordered a couple of gins that I hadn’t seen before and a single malt as well. Ordering was easy and fuss free and delivery was a couple of days later by Royal Mail recorded delivery.
I have no hesitation in recommending this company and am sure I will use again in future

This business doesn't exist, the phone number is not available, the emails bounce back, total scam.
I've tried every means to contact them but no luck, one thing that does exist is them taking money.
Thought there was something strange when I never received any notification of my order, only notification was the money taken from my account.

How do you contact this company please? They do not answer telephone, do not reply to emails, do not have an address and I have been trying to chase up an order placed early November ; should I go to small claims court ?

Order placed on 23 November and unable to contact company by phone to check status of order. No reply to email sent last week or reply to contact us form. Bottle still not delivered - worst experience ever as a customer as still no idea whether my order will be fulfilled.

Have been shopping here now for a few months, i have seen some old negative comments however i have now just had my 6th order each one has arrived well packaged. I have just bought 3 talisker skye's and again arrived via royal mail. My only reccomendation would be an option for a next day delivery, even at an extra cost. Thanks guys keep up the good work and brillant deals.

Ordered a bottle for my dad’s birthday brilliant price and next day delivery!

I used to order fairly frequently from them. Then one day they stopped delivering the orders, they never responded to any calls and only responded once to my emails saying that they'd sort it the next day. That never happened. They have changed management, but since then, they've claimed that my orders were completed, based on automated emails sent to that effect, when I sent emails to them, there was no response. Everytime I've asked for a refund, they just stay silent.

Sadly it doesn't seem like the company of old. Personally, I would say avoid spending your money here and find a more reliable and communicative company.

UPDATE: As per their reply below, I contacted them. Their email response said they would check on Tuesday (29/05/2024) after the bank holiday. Fair enough. I had no reply and called them, I was asked to send in the list of orders and they would respond that day.

I gave them time, and called them several times today, more than a week after they said they'd check and respond (05/06/2024). Every time it went to voicemail. I have still heard absolutely nothing.

Bought a Dalmore 2005, fast delivery. Brilliant service, would use again.

Bought a bottle of glengoyne 18yr, nice and fast service couldn’t complain.

Ordered a bottle of Macallan 12, arrived promptly, exceptional service and well packaged. Can't fault the service it has been delivered perfectly for my birthday today.

Completely fraudulent company. Placed an order which did not arrive. Replied to my first email saying it was at the bottling plant. All further emails ignored, phone not answered. Got my money refunded via credit card. Still receiving promotional emails. This is a pure scam, avoid at all costs.

Hopefully you are reading these reviews before placing an order with Scotch Whiskey World and come to the wise decision to shop elsewhere.
Unfortunately I only read them after I placed an order and have lost several hundred pounds to these scammers.
The company is NOT located in Glasgow. In fact nobody appears to know where they are physically located.
There telephone has been disconnected and their info@ and sales@ email addresses are not supported on any domain.
Your money will be taken through the web site but you won't receive your whisky and won't be able to contact the 'company'.
Completely fraudulent.
