Scuba Total Cancun Avaliações 

We just wrapped up our second trip diving with Scuba Total, a year after getting certified through them, and it was every bit as wonderful as our first experience.

This time around we did reef diving with our dive master Fabio, who was actually our instructor when we got certified last year. He’s incredibly kind and patient, and he goes out of his way to make sure even novice divers like us feel comfortable and have an amazing time in the water.

We also went cavern diving in the cenotes with Rafa, and that was a true once-in-a-lifetime experience. He picked us up and dropped us off right at our hotel, and his calm, easygoing manner made us feel completely at ease the whole time.

A special shoutout to Gaby, who helped us book both trips even though the team was technically closed for the month while most of the staff were on their annual overseas diving trip. She was so responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout the whole process.

We already can’t wait to come back for another trip with Scuba Total. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to dive in Cancun!

Our trip to Cancun was a last minute booking due to another holiday having to be cancelled (long story!), so I sent emails to three dive centres, requesting information on possible diving - we are experienced divers. One gave a very brief response, one didn’t reply at all - and then there was Gaby at Scuba Total!! 🥰 She came back quickly with lots of information, prices and possible dive schedules. And so glad she did because we were able to enjoy 6 dives with them, including MUSA, inside reef, C-58 wreck, outside reef, and Cenotes. We would have done more but rough seas put a stop to that unfortunately. So a BIG thank you to our dive leaders, Lars, Aldo and Rafa, and to Gaby for keeping us so well informed on a day to day basis. A lovely friendly dive centre where nothing is too much trouble. If you’re in Cancun and want to dive, look them up!

Our Divemaster, Aldo, was outstanding - his deep knowledge of the best dive sites and his ability to manage divers of all experience levels made for an unforgettable experience. We just finished our second diving trip with Aldo, and once again, it was exceptional. We’ve travelled and dived all across North America, and by far Aldo is the most passionate, professional, and genuinely enthusiastic dive master we have ever encountered.

His team is outstanding — organized, safety-focused, and warm from start to finish. I hadn’t seen Aldo in over a year, and when he saw me he literally jumped up and gave me the biggest bear hug. That kind of authentic care says everything.

Whether it’s a 5:00am dive or a long day that stretches into the evening, his energy never changes — always positive, always engaged, always happy to be there.

If you’re looking for a world-class diving experience led by someone who truly loves what he does, book with Aldo. We wouldn’t dive with anyone else.

We spent two days diving with Fabio and Aldo. They were both amazing and Gaby did a phenomenal job helping organize everything after our first day got rescheduled due to weather. 100% recommend.

From beginning to end Scuba Total provided a personalized diving experience that my son and I will remember for a lifetime! I found their website informative and as soon as I emailed to figure out availability, Gaby was incredible at organizing every detail, including transportation from our resort. She continued to stay in contact before we arrived and during our trip. Aldo instantly made us feel apart of the scuba family with a warm welcome on our first day of diving. Fabio swam against a strong current to help me get some great photos of a turtle that was making a smooth getaway. For our second day of diving, the Cozumel dives were vibrant and teaming with wildlife…but nothing can compare to the bull shark dive. Aldo did a great job explaining the dive plan, and suddenly we were surrounded by a dozen 6’-8’ bull sharks. After a few minutes of getting my breathing and heart rate down, we enjoyed an an episode of Shark Week in person - what a rush! Beautiful animals! As if all that wasn’t enough, we spent our last day of diving at the Chac Mool cenotes. The cave diving experience of Rafa was evident as he guided us through these geological wonders with his son.
I can’t say enough about the knowledge and experience of the Scuba Total team. They are a must as you plan your next dive adventure in Cancun.

Altamente recomendable!! Nuestro instructor fue Aldo, quien estuvo en cada uno de los detalles, dentro y fuera del agua. Realizamos dos inmersiones en Cancún, en Black Tip, donde además de la belleza y diversidad del arrecife, esponjas gigantes y gran variedad de peces, tuvimos la suerte de ver nurse sharks, reef sharks! El segundo buceo fue en Shena´s reef , había muchísimas barracudas gigantes, y también vimos un reef shark. ¡¡¡¡¡Ojalá podamos regresar pronto!!!!!
Ahora nos pondremos en campaña para realizar buceos en Cozumel con ellos!

Excelente trato. Instructor y guía Aldo muy profesional, está en todos los detalles fuera y dentro del agua. Largos buceos. Realizamos dos hermosas inmersiones con mucho coral de todo tipo y gran cantidad de peces.grandes cardumen. Reef y nurse shark ... Increíble experiencia.Felices.Gracias!

Aldo and the crew were amazing. My son and I went on two dives. The refresher course in the pool was perfect for two beginner divers and Aldo explained everything extremely well and made us both very comfortable. The dives were both fantastic!!

Es segunda vez que estoy con Scuba Total Cancún y no por causalidad o porque no existan más en la zona, simplemente porque son los mejores, gente muy profesional, amable y que transmite mucho cariño, energía y pasión por el buceo y las buenas relaciones humanas y con el medio ambiente. Epic cenote diving with Rafa, a fountain of knowledge, equal parts master diver and raconteur. Gaby was quick with communication when booking and was able to hook up the dive for the next morning. Highly recommend this outft!

They exceeded our expectations in every way—and then some. Let me ask you this: What’s better than diving with a dive master who has over 25 years of experience? Diving with someone who feels more like a friend than just a guide. That’s exactly what Scuba Total delivers—expert-led dives in a fun, welcoming, and completely safe environment.

My husband and I booked several excursions: the MUSA & reef dive, the Cozumel reef & wall dive, and the unforgettable whale shark snorkeling tour.

The MUSA & reef dive was the perfect way to start our trip—an easy, shallow dive (around 40 feet) with lots of bottom time. Our dive master, Manuel, was fantastic—professional, knowledgeable about all the best dive spots, and even entertained us with his impressive underwater bubble rings!

Next up was Cozumel, where we dove both a reef and the famous wall. The wall dive was the highlight—reaching a depth of 80 feet with absolutely stunning visibility and marine life. The day included a scenic drive to Playa del Carmen and a boat ride out to the dive sites. Worth every second.

After hearing nonstop recommendations, we added the whale shark snorkeling tour—and WOW. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Swimming alongside these gentle giants (some over 20 feet long) was absolutely surreal. If you're in Cancun, this is a must-do.

As if that weren’t enough, we decided to book one last dive—a wreck and reef combo. We explored the C-58 wreck followed by a nearby reef. This time we had the pleasure of diving again with Aldo, who is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also fun, upbeat, and extremely safety-focused. He double and triple-checked all our gear, walked us through the dive plan in detail, and made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. If you get the chance to dive with Aldo—take it.

From start to finish, Scuba Total made everything effortless and unforgettable. Special thanks to Gabby, who handled all our bookings and transportation so smoothly. Thank you Manuel and Aldo for the amazing dives—we can’t wait to come back to Cancun and dive with you again!

What a great experience. Aldo and Gaby did a wonderful job. Aldo was constantly making sure we were OK when underwater. The wreck was fun. Got to go through 2 levels of the boat. Saw some beautiful fish during the reef dive. I highly recommend Scuba Total.

I did my advanced course with Scuba Total. Gaby was extremely responsive both pre planning and during the course and made it easy to arrange the dives I wanted. Manuel and Rafa were amazing instructors. I did the Cavern dives with Rafa and he gave me so many helpful tips and made it a safe and comfortable experience. Highly recommend!

My wife and I had an amazing experience with Total scuba. Our instructor was Fabio. He did an outstanding job giving instructions and making us feel safe during our dive. I would highly recommend Total scuba to anyone interested in scuba diving. My wife was very nervous about diving and he went the extra mile to make her as comfortable as possible. We experienced the underwater museum where we saw a sea turtle and the reef that was filled with an abundance of colorful fish.

Gaby understands English and promptly texted answers to all of my many questions in a fun way. My Scuba Dives at the reefs were beautiful. Her husband Aldo helped me prepare for the dive, and Fabio was a very caring dive guide. At 71 years young I was his oldest diver! I practiced doing laps in the pool in Wisconsin, USA with my snorkel and fins beforehand so I knew I could keep up with all the younger people. Tomorrow I will snorkel with the Whale Sharks! Thank you all for your professionalism and kindness.

We had a great time diving in Cozumel with Scuba Total. Our guide, Aldo, was very helpful and fun. He picked us up close to our hotel in Cancun and we skipped the ferry to Cozumel and went straight by boat from Playa de Carmen. Two beautiful dives and back at our hotel by 2:30pm! It was easy to arrange in advance as well. We will definitely dive with Scuba Total again.

We had a fantastic experience diving in Mexico, Cozumel with Scuba Total. The whole process was smooth – fast responses, easy planning, and we were picked up exactly on time. Very professional and well organized.

Aldo, our dive instructor, was fantastic. He made us feel completely safe, took the time to explain everything thoroughly, and kept things fun with his great sense of humor. You can tell he really loves what he does.

The marine life was stunning – we spotted a nurse shark, barracuda, a sea turtle, and many beautiful fish. The dive conditions were excellent, and the whole experience felt relaxed and professional.
