Absolutely faultless service and appreciate the thoroughness of the report. No hesitation in recommending at all we want to say a big thank you.

Really impressed with the service Simon provided. He called with detailed feedback on the day of the survey which was followed up the next day with a very comprehensive yet easy to read survey report. I had spent a while comparing local surveyors and am very pleased with our choice and would not hesitate to use his services again.

Another fantastic job by Simon. He organised everything in a timely manner and provided a thorough report.

Great communication from the very beginning. We liked how the survey was presented and bits explained in an uncomplicated manor.
Also it guided you what bits needed to be done before completion and what was expected before of exchange of contracts and what your solicitor should deal with. Very friendly, professional guy and service. We will recommend Simon and will use him in the future.

The report that we have received from Simon was very detailed, included lots of pictures and descriptions and we have now a very good understanding of the issues in the property we are planning to buy. Simon was also available for a phone call to discuss any questions with us. I would definitely recommend Searchlight Surveyors especially for first time buyers, who don't have much experience and can easily miss some important things. Really excellent service and great value for money. I normally don't leave reviews but I am so happy with the service that it would be unfair not to spread the word.

The report produced by Simon is very comprehensive yet easy to digest. His communication while organising the survey was quick with all my questions answered.

He phoned just after he had completed the survey to talk through it all with me which was great.

Thank you very much.

I would advise anyone looking for a high quality survey to use Simon.

Simon was highly professional and really accommodating when dates changed for us. He got the job done quickly and thoroughly. Would definitely recommend and should we move in future, we will use his services again.

Having had to buy many homes to live in over the years, I needed the services of a great number of surveyors. Simon Dowse of Searchlight led them all.
I was initially impressed that Simon first asked me if I had specific queries I had about the property and he noted them carefully before commencing the survey. It was clear from his later report, that these queries were given total scrutiny.
The final survey report itself was a model of how professional reports SHOULD be written. It was a comprehensive working document backed with quality photographs and helpful advice on how to move forward with my purchase.
Throughout the process I found Simon always gave generous time to listen to my concerns and to act upon them in the very best traditions of the R.I.C.S.

I had a Valuation on my apartment by Simon, he was very thorough and professional but friendly and relaxed with it. I was sent the results the same day I would definitely use again and recommend.

Excellent and efficient service

Simon was friendly, efficient, flexible and professional. The report was comprehensive and thorough but written in layman's terms and he took the time to make sure we understood all elements of the survey. We would strongly recommend his services.

Simon was very understanding of our situation and very flexible when it came to booking. He was also very clear and explained everything well. We were not confused with any of the service he gave and wouldn't hesitate to use him/searchlight surveyors again.

Simon from Searchlight Surveyors provided an excellent service. He rang me immediately after completing the survey to talk me through some aspects before emailing his full report the following day. His report was thorough and brought to light several issues, which we were unaware of. He even brought our attention to a potential problem which I did not think would have been under his remit, but we were so grateful to him for having done so. Would definitely recommend to others.

Excellent service provided by Simon. Communication from the initial contact, through to the delivery of the detailed report has been first class. His findings have permitted us to renegotiate the purchase price. Highly recommended.

This is the second time we have used Searchlight Surveyors. As per the first time, the service and professionalism is second to none every step of the way. The homebuyer report was very comprehensively completed, giving us a full understanding of what we are purchasing. We had a couple of questions after and Simon responses were efficient, considered and extremely helpful. We highly recommend Searchlight Surveyors.

Simon was absolutely fantastic.. extremely professional, informative, competitively priced.
Report easy to understand. I would highly recommend went the extra mile !!!

The service provided by Searchlight was second to none. Most reliable and delivered on time and without any fuss or hassle. I cannot recommend Simon highly enough.

Simon was very professional and thorough, a detailed report after the survey was professionally presented - very good service

Survey was very detailed. We received a call to talk us through findings on the day of the survey and the report the next day. Any queries were answered in detail and even with photos of examples. Great service!

Fantastic service from Simon. We are first time buyers and Simon provided an in-depth report to us that explained very clearly what needed looking at in the house. Not only did he tell us this, but then also suggested the best remedies in the long-term to either fix or prevent further issues, going the extra mile to think through solutions and present them to us in a way that put us at ease. Would not hesitate to recommend Simon to anybody looking for a local surveyor.
