Multiple last minute cancellations as…
Multiple last minute cancellations as could not find a therapist. I have been a regular customer and was unwell for one booking and asked to reschedule and they refused and charged me 90 pounds.
Re the below response;
I requested an appointment 3 days ahead of time and was told it would not go ahead the night before. The same week, I fell ill the day before another appointment, asked if it could be rescheduled as felt I would be infectious, was told that this was not possible. I then asked to keep the booking (minutes after cancelling) if I was going to be charged and they refused.

I’m really sorry to hear you’ve been left feeling disappointed. We understand how frustrating last-minute changes or cancellations can be, especially when you’ve been a loyal customer and had made arrangements around your bookings.
To clarify, the booking you referred to as cancelled was actually a request for a specific therapist who, unfortunately, was not available. As this wasn’t a confirmed appointment, it was cancelled and fully refunded.
Regarding the charge you’ve mentioned, this relates to a confirmed booking that was cancelled within 12 hours of the start time. As our professionals are freelance and hold time in their diaries exclusively for confirmed clients, our 24-hour cancellation policy ensures they’re still compensated when cancellations happen at short notice. In this case, your therapist was unable to secure another appointment in that time.
We’re very sorry that this has impacted your experience with us and appreciate your feedback.

I had Nicola do my spray tan for my wedding and she was amazing! I loved the final result, not one streak mark. She made me feel very comfortable and guided me through the tan and after care well. I will defiantly be booking myself in for another spray tan again soon

Cancelled 5 mins before app then…
Cancelled 5 mins before app then rebooked for next day and lady showed up without the right equipment! Really wasted my time and stressed me out.. not what you want before a holiday when you don’t even get the treatment you wanted
Replying to your message below the second person who came this morning forgot half the equipment to do the spray!! Someone else then came two hours later who did do it (third time lucky!) but was so close to when I had to go away it all washed off in the shower..
such a disaster don’t waste your time

After the original appointment had to be rescheduled, we arranged for another professional to attend. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up with her equipment on arrival, which we completely appreciate was frustrating. As soon as we were made aware, we acted quickly to get another fully equipped professional out to you the same day to ensure your treatment could still go ahead.
This isn’t the experience we ever want to deliver, and we’re reviewing what happened to help prevent it in future.

Fantastic experience! The therapist was very professional, knowledgeable and met all of my expectations. She styled my hair with a lots of extensions just the way I wanted. And she had a very calming and pleasant personality. I recommend her highly.

April arrived perfectly to time and was superb. She took time to understand exactly what we wanted, created just the looks we wanted but with her own flair and suggestions. Our hair still looked great after a very hot and long day at Ascot. I would highly recommend her and the Secret Spa experience.

Therapists have arrived late more than…
Therapists have arrived late more than once without contacting the customer. The last one (Chemine M) was rude, aggressive and unprofessional. She stormed off saying she had to tend to other customers.

We’d like to clarify that on this occasion, our professional arrived on time at the address provided, but was unable to locate your property because the door number entered in your booking did not exist on your street. Our team and the professional attempted to reach you by phone during the grace period but were unable to connect immediately, which unfortunately delayed confirming your correct address.
Once we were able to make contact and received the accurate door number, the professional went directly to your address and offered to complete the treatment. However, as this was after the grace period, they advised the treatment might need to be adjusted, which we understand was not acceptable to you at that time.
We’re very sorry for any inconvenience caused, and our supervisor has reviewed this matter thoroughly. As a gesture of goodwill, we have offered compensation for the inconvenience. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if we can assist further.

Gift card expiration extension denied
I previously received a gift card for Christmas and realised the date of expiration had now passed (almost 6 months). I asked if an exception would be made to extend it by one year (essentially 6 more months) however my request was rejected. While I understand & acknowledge that the expiration date was noted on the gift card, I was surprised that they wouldn’t extend it. This is such an easy win for a company to make a client happy & it’s a shame they don’t realise that. Even a compromise of a one month extension or a credit of half the value would have been appreciated. Instead, they have now lost a client who could have been singing their praises for how flexible they were - instead of writing this review. My hope is they will reconsider this in future.
