As a See's customer for over 50 years, I wanted to share my experience with an online purchase. I've ordered many times before but had a problem with a custom mixed box order. I received excellent customer service on the phone and my issue was taken care of immediately. Rep was polite, patient and and offered several ways that we could resolve my issues. Thank you for great customer service, I greatly appreciate it. I wish they would open another full service store in Houston, TX, I miss it.

Overpriced Shipping

My family has been enjoying See's candy since 1978, when I was 6 years old. Recently I tried to order a Father's day gift and several thank you gifts. I was shocked to see that the shipping fee was $30.00. Not even a shipping special offered for Father's day. Thanks See's for pricing me out of your candy, again!!!

The best candy’s on the market is See’s Candy, espicially in Century City, CA.

I just wanted to say that the best candy’s on the market is See’s Candy.

But what makes See’s Candy great is not just it’s quality but it is all about the wonderful service and caring that I get each and every time I walk into See’s Candy in Century City, California.

Most everyone of your stores that I have shopped in (and I have been in many) are very good. But the Century City store takes customer service to another level.

Why? Because of the amazing people who know their products and service the customer with a smile and a heart full of knowledge and friendliness.

The Century City store manager, Canace Nicholas, is as great a professional manager as I have seen in most any business, and also has a wonderful smile that I see as soon as I enter the store.

I find that I almost never leave the store without spending $40 to $60 every visit. And I do so willingly looking forward to enjoying what I just purchase and knowing that I can’t wait to come back. (Believe it or not, I shop at See’s Century City on average more than twice a week.

See’s Candy staff member’s like Aracely have proven herself to be a wonderful total professional who always has a smile and great suggestions for new things to try out as well as reminding me of the candies that I really like. She perfectly serviced me and my family for years.

Staff member Andre is fairly new but has outstanding skills, friendly and professionalism…Always with a smile.

What See’s has in Century City is a gem. It’s a gem full of amazing professionals who could easily be used as a standard of all of their stores.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. We did a fundraiser and was told we will get a refund profit check , We got the check and when we deposited the check, they put a stop payment on the check. We have yet to get the money and customer service gives us the run around. Never again.Do not use this company.

Horrible customer service

I have ordered candy from here before without issue (even though the shipping is ridiculous) and as I tried to order my Dad's annual birthday peanut brittle I could not do so. I had entered the incorrect security code for the order original card I wanted to use but then it would not let me order using a different card and different payment method. When I tried to contact customer service they were closed. When I tried to reach them again they told me that it must be my bank even though they did not even look at my account to check. I explained TWICE that I had tried using a second card from a DIFFERENT bank and was told that I need to contact my bank as it is obviously an issue with my bank.

I can order the same thing on amazon for the same price (when you include shipping). I will try to get my dad to try a different brand of peanut brittle or I will send him a costco sees gift card and he can get some in store if all else fails. I am deleting my sees account and complaining to everyone I know.

Invest in your customer service representatives or just vend through amazon.

edit: I have emailed sees customer service requesting that they delete my account and they have not replied and there is not an obvious way to delete my account with them. So guess they have my data forever. I do need to reach out to my state ag to see if this is allowed or if there is anything they can do.

I have never been so disappointed with…

I have never been so disappointed with See's Candies as I am today. I ordered almost $100 in chocolate on April 10. I had free shipping but because it is during the hot months I paid over $25 for shipping My credit card was charged April 11. It was to be delivered April 15th. It is now the 17th and no chocolate. To make matters worse I emailed Wednesday and Thursday. I tried calling the customer service phone number and it takes the order number and starts to tell me let me check and then switches to saying I'm sorry we are temporary closed. I have tried calling several times a day to hear the same message. I also tried calling a store in Los Angeles to be told they couldn't help me and just gave me the same customer service number I have been calling. They have truly lost my business. The sad part is I love See's. I'm Very angry, frustrated, disappointed and will continue to let my experience be known. I have to say that I am impressed. I received a phone call and I explained what I had gone through and he offered to make it right which he did do. He refunded my shipping and provided a gift card and ask me to try again and I assured him that I would. Thank you See's for making it right.

Horrible customer service for sure. Will be looking for a local chocolate shop to frequent and will no longer be a customer. Store was closed, when hours of operation stated they would be open, reached out to customer service (Charida Customer Specialist)and they offered a $5 coupon which they never sent!
"As a one time courtesy, we'd be glad to send you a $5 e-gift card to replace your coupon. The gift card will be able to used on Sees.com and in stores and has no expiration."

After review the gift card was issued. Thank you review team for following up.

Has See’s changed their chocolate…

Update: The company contacted me to assure me that the recipe is still the same and offered to replace my box as they were concerned that the heat had adversely affected the quality. Second box was received and was the quality I had originally expected. Thank you Sees!
Original: Has See’s changed their chocolate recipe? The mixed box that I just ordered was not yummy like previous orders. The chocolate seemed very waxy and did not have the flavor or texture I was expecting. Very disappointed.

Went to Sees Candy yesterday

Went to Sees Candy yesterday. Counter worker did a terrible job packing my candy and then put it in an oversize box. She refused to cut into pieces 2 of the candies i wanted and just put the whole roll in a bag.
To top it off, the candy was old and stale.
My mother was shocked. I dont know if this was racism or ignorance.

I placed an order for Easter (2026) which was shipped on 3/26/26. The ordered arrived on 4/1/2026 and was completely melted!!!!!! Terrible Terrible Terrible!!!! By the way, it was NOT shipped with any type of ice etc.
I will NEVER place another order with See's Candies again!!!

DO NOT buy into their scam of…

DO NOT buy into their scam of purchasing 40.00 worth of candy during the months of June through December. You get a sticker on a card each month and then supposedly they email you a gift card for 50.00. After 5 attempts my husband never got his and when I went in to use mine, they said it had already been used!!!! Absolute scam!!! Don’t fall victim like we did. The candy at Chocolate Cottage is better anyway!

Late Shipping

Ordered a Valentine's chocolate box on January 31st, with the website and email confirmation stating delivery would be between Feb 11-13. They sat on the order for over a week and now won't be delivered until the week after Valentine's Day. Awful customer service.

Misleading Advertising

I am a long-time See’s Candies customer and have spent thousands of dollars on their products, often ordering online due to limited East Coast locations. While placing a Valentine’s Day order, the website prominently stated “Order by 2/6 with Standard Shipping.” Relying on that, I spent over 25 minutes on the phone placing a custom order. At the end of the call, customer service could not confirm delivery by Valentine’s Day and stated there was no guarantee. Neither the representative nor escalation could explain or reconcile the website message. As a result, I canceled the order and wasted significant time. This inconsistency between advertised shipping information and customer service guidance is misleading and unacceptable for a Berkshire Hathaway company.

I grew up in California, and always loved See's candies. The customer service was outstanding. It has been about 38 years since I had their candies. I ordered some online. Sadly this experience will probably be the last time I ever order their candy. I was told the order would be picked up on the 2nd for delivery, and it would be delivered by the 6th. The order was not shipped until the 4th. There was no notification of this at all by See's candies. Then they changed the delivery date to the 10th with again no notification. When I reached out through their "chat", and got an agent finally. They basically made excuses, and lied about the delivery dates, and when it was picked up. They continued to dance around the subject instead of just admitting the mistake, and could have resolved it easily. I do not see ever ordering from them again.

UPDATE---- See's Candies saw my review, and reached out to me. I am impressed by their outreach concerning this, ad must say they did an excellent job addressing my concerns. They have restored my faith in their company at this time.
