So many issues matching other reviews
So many issues matching other reviews. I expected a different country of items each month based on how the company advertises. That is not the case. You sign up and receive the same country each month which has consisted of the same items for us. You can go in and update the country you want but I gave a one year subscription as a gift and have only remembered to do so a handful of times. I’ve had two boxes go missing and been charged for extra boxes when just trying to add an item. I’ve had to correspond with the company each time this happens to show my receipts in my account not matching the receipts they sent to my email. It’s difficult to get ahold of customer service but they do respond. Please look into other services. I’m so disappointed

The snacks consist of one small stale cookie, the diameter of a soda can, another stale cookie - same size, and another stale cookie - same size. That’s three of 10 snacks. Two more stale cookies the size of a fig newton. And a few other disgusting items. And no refund available.
Poor product selection and quality, no solution offered by customer service
Poor product selection and quality. I signed up for one 6-month package and was automatically charged for another 6 months, which I do not recall ever asking for. When I tried to cancel they said they’ve already begun pulling snacks and they couldn’t cancel my order (or any of the 6 new crappy snack boxes they’re trying to stick me with now.) Some of the most dismissive customer service I’ve ever received. There is no way that they have pulled snacks for all 6 months. They could at least offer customers a partial refund… or send a reminder email that doesn’t look like promo garbage more than three days before they take more money from you for a subpar product.

I feel like this was hugely misleading adding a second subscription, and wasn't mentioned clearly enough (or was intentionally confusing) that this was an second subscription that I would need to cancel -instead of a one time free box.
I imagine the bulk of customers end up confused, as i did, and up paying for extra boxes they did not ask for under the guise that the initial free box was a one-time gift.

Products were damaged via shipping. It's like the company just doesn't care about what you get. They just want their money. Customer service takes several days to respond to a complaint. There's other companies out there that I would use after this experience

STAY AWAY!!!!! I have ordered from this brand before without issue twice... this time was a disaster. What I thought would be a 170 something dollar order ended up being just over 280. Being on disability 170 was pushing it. This literally pushed me over my budget for the month and I am being charged NSF charges of $45 every time PayPal tries to pull it out until I get paid on the 1st of the month. I will rack up hundreds of dollars by then. I tried to find a customer service number but none were available anywhere. I emailed repeatedly explaining my situation only to be ignored. Finally I reached out to their Facebook inbox explaining my who situation and by now I recognize that the first box is being sent I asked if perhaps the other two could be cancelled and I would be refunded for the other two. That is not an option, so I said I wanted to return the box I ordered when it came and cancel the whole order and they won't do that either. THEY DON'T REFUND!!!! Unbelievable. This is literally a disaster to my living situation.
So many negative points to cover
I placed a three month description for a Munch box That was supposed to be different every month I got a free Japan box with it 3 months subscription. the second month they sent the same identical much box and also charge me for a Japan box that I did not order .I sent him a copy of my order it showed that I did not order a Japan box that my subscription was for the Munch box. I ordered the subscription so that me and my grandkids could have some quality time trying different snacks.I have tried Universal yums and other snack boxes this one by far is the worst they would not refund my money for the $45 to pan box that I didn't order plus didn't want to refund my last month since I didn't want to have three of the same boxes in a row so they also owe me $45 for that.I am glad I used PayPal because the resolution team got my refund I will not recommend this company to anyone.almost forgot that my order was stolen in transportation and they had to resend it so it took almost some 25 days for me to get the order.
I’ve had several packages go missing
I’ve had several packages go missing, and even received two that were open. Customer service IGNORES your complaint!
What’s worse… I canceled my subscription, but even though they acknowledged the cancellation, they charged me for another one!
Not only that, but the snacks rarely come in good shape. Melted, crumbs, squished… they’re not enjoyable.
If you get the drinks, they’re always gross. Everything seems to be banana flavored. Once or twice… okay. But rheyre almost always banana!
One time, my package came with two pieces of GUM! And each piece was counted as an item! I was shocked!
It most definitely is NOT WORTH IT!
They are a RIP OFF!!!
Even if you really like the items, you can go to an Asian market and get it all MUCH CHEAPER! And you can get more for your money.

I tought it was interesting at first
I tought it was interesting, no ned to travel and try real snack from around the world but the prices are so craze I couln't even if I had too much money because it doesn't make sense. 8$ for a drink in a bottle kind of like 7up...and the boxes start at 36$ per months for like 6-8 snacks .
If you live in Australia don't order from here
If you live in Australia, there is a chance your package will be stopped at customs and you will lose your order with no chance of a refund.
I tried messaging customer service but replies were slow and unhelpful.
I would be very careful ordering from this place if you live overseas. I hope this will stop someone else from losing money on this site.
I got a subscription
I got a subscription, they billed me on the 3rd of the month, and still as of the 18th I don't have my box. There is zero customer service, the only thing you can do is write a email to them.
Txt spam for the rest of your life, Worst customer service ever
It’s almost impossible to contact them. They said they ship one way and it comes by a different carrier, I don’t get usps to my home address so how it is delivered matters to me since I need to give a different address. I get a text spam every day now with no option to opt out. Contacting them has been useless.

STAY AWAY!!! Customer support is nonexistent. The snacks are mediocre at best. You would be better off going to a local Asian market and trying things. Do not recommend.
But the Beverages!
It would be a Five ☆☆☆☆☆ review if it wasn't for the false advertising about beverages. I got the Deluxe 3 month subscription and every photo has a beverage displayed. I did add the $6 beverage add on (thinking I'd get at least 2 up to 4 drinks!) But I only got the one. I even reached out to the team to ask if I can expect more drinks in different boxes and they said no, drinks are not included with the Deluxe box. I hope they change the pictures or description to include that. It was very disheartening. OTHERWISE, incredible! The steak flavored cheetos were my favorite salty snack and the strawberry chocolates from Japan were my favorite sweet. To address some complaints: *People said they were disappointed with the amount.*I was only expecting 18 snacks and we got like 30! I got the subscription so it came with an extra box of just Japanese snacks, but it was way more than I was expecting! *People said they didn't like getting duplicates* I did get 3 duplicates, but two of them were delicious so I was more than happy to have extras. *People said the snacks weren't very good*, I know it's pricey, buy get a bigger box. If I only got hard candies, chocolate, and pretzels, I'd be pretty disappointed too. But because there was so much variety, there were tons of great options. Healthy balance of salty, sweet, and neutral (like a not too sweet cookie, or honey Pretz). Healthy variation of sweets, like gummies, hard candy, gum, chocolate, biscuits and baked goods. Cannot wait for the next box!
Frustrating if you need help
Update: This might be the most frustrating purchase I’ve ever made. I get to work each morning and wait in the online chat que for a representative. It’s been 4 business days at 9 hours holding 36 hours total hold time. That is unbelievable and still no one has talked with me. I have gotten 2 emails. One requesting information which came after a few days. I sent the requested info and a week later was sent an email that said my information was not in their system. And that the info I gave them is associated with an order from more than a year ago. I sent them screenshots shots of my info that verifies it is exactly what I’ve sent. No one has responded. They have also blocked me on all social media because I reached out to them as they instruct on their website. This is a company that scrubs their reviews and comments.
I can't speak to the quality of the snacks as I have yet to receive my box. That of course is a concern, though my greater concern is my inability to reach a customer service representative to resolve the issue. It has been 22 days since my order. The tab to report a package has been stuck in transit generates an email that says to reach out if you have a package stuck in transit for a period greater than 3 days. That's great info, but there is not a tab for reporting a package stuck in transit more than 3 days. It makes zero sense. And there is no way to reach anyone by phone. And the chat bot leaves you in an endless que.
Very disappointed
Well I received my box. I was very excited I had ordered a one time british snack box for $40 and I received 10 items, I was very disappointed I expected a huge box for that price. I will not be ordering from there again, I feel like I got ripped off I am very unhappy with this purchase.
