I begrudge giving this even a 1 star. ITS A CON. booked an service and MOT they didn't do the MOT attempted to sell me things I didn't need for over £200. Didn't apply any discounts offered, which was the WHOLE reason for me to use them.
USE THE AA. They offer the same service but can be trusted.

A one star rating is too good. Have tried on two separate occasions to get a service, the first time I was advised that there was nowhere available to service my car so went elsewhere. The second time I was given a date of 8th December (2020) but late in the evening of the 7th I received a text advising me that due to unforeseen circumstances it had to be moved to a different date.. to cut a long story short this happened four times after which I replied to the last text expressing my opinion (if you get my drift). I finally received an email on 22nd Dec with confirmation and details of my service and that I should expect a call from the person that was to collect my car with a collection time. I waited for the call, it never happened but as the collection time was to be between 8 - 10am I wasn't concerned. When lunch time arrived and still the car hadn't been collected I decided enough was enough so I sent an email informing them that I was cancelling everything with immediate effect and made them aware of the issues I had had leading up to today, I also advised them that if someone did arrive I would not be handing my car over to them. Later in the afternoon I received an email reply that stated 'We’re sorry you have cancelled your booking but in case if you change your mind and want to book with the different date, simply click the link below to rebook your service.' As you can see there was no explanation or apology and I for one am very glad that I never paid in advance. Needless to say I did not 'Click the link below' and I will certainly not entertain them in any way, shape or form again and I would advise anyone thinking of giving them a go - DON'T DO IT!

They charge for parts your car doesn't even have. What a rip off. My suzuki only has 3 cylinders and yet they charged for 4. Never use them again. That advisor is just a salesman wanting every penny out of you

Was getting email sent to me so I thought give them a go price was good, so I gave them a date for them to pick it up, but the day before it was due got a text that they could not do it but gave another date ok give them another go, guess what the same again ok maybe so another chance yes it happened again, so after trying to phone them after 18 times never getting through. Please do yourself a favor No

Absolutely awful, took the car away for a service and MOT car wasn’t brought back for 24hrs, I was stranded at work without a car. They asked for hundreds and hundreds on top of what had already been paid. None of the work had been completed, the windscreen washer tank was empty, the ball joint should have been renewed however it was obvious the wheels had not been removed. I’ve complained but have heard nothing back. DANGEROUS, do not use them under any circumstances.

I’ve done £4000 miles since my car last had a full service. Service stop said they changed the oil with a ‘Specialist’ oil, changed brake fluid, flushed engine etc and I doubt they did any of it as it wouldn’t been necessary. After reading other reviews I realise that this is their scam. They invoiced me for £480 ( after insisting on an invoice from them). I’m not paying it as I already paid £127 for mot and service. Even if the work was done, it should be part of the service paid for. They’re a disgrace! Avoid like the plague!!!

My car still hadn’t been returned .tried to phone no answer and no emails response Phoned police .

Absolute rubbish, booked on line and booking was accepted and confirmed,
I tried contacting them a few days before to make sure everything was ok and going ahead but never got an answer
On day of service recieved a call to say service had been cancelled, no apology no reason why .

One star is too much . The pricing is wrong . £589 quote after a service and mot . I looked the prices up on the servicestop website and it was less than half that price. Mentioned to customer service and was told those prices ain’t valid any more. I went elsewhere and got it it less than a third of the price . Rude customer service and extortionate prices. Ps. If you are mad enough to still book a service Do not authorise specialist oil as at 40 pound on top of the price it’s very expensive . Avoid , avoid , avoid

I thought Reviews was to tell the truth about your experience which I did with servicing stop but they reported it so it was removed. Maybe it was because they advertise that you will get your car returned the same day but mine was returned the next day. Couldn't get hold of garage cos they closed my house keys on my key so couldn't get in home. Reviews are to share your experience with others

Happy with the service very handy and helpful will use again

The idea is great but using independent garages you just arent guaranteed any kind of regulated service. Car picked up at 9am all good, get a call at 10:30 stating what needed to be done, the usual extras was no surprise but to be honest you arent forced to have these done, so thats just personal choice. My main gripe is that there is zero communication once you are booked and paid. i tried rining for over an hour with no response, sent several emails, again no response. you simply cannot contact this company. my work closed at 4:30pm i sat waiting till 6:30pm, luckily it wasnt raining. i know they say could be up to 6pm but the fact you have no clue what is going on or given an eta and cant speak with anyone means you have to just wait at the given pickup point. If you think you will be able to get your car serviced while at work, hassle free....you'll be proven wrong. terrible terrible customer service. First and only time...never again!

Cheapest service oh yeah collection and delivery free oh yeah it's right good booked straight away should have checked before but I thought I'm saving time day not to waste at service my car

Received call telling me car dangerous to drive need that and that all rubbish to rap off just trying to sell you anything forcing you to it if u not aware of your car u well get rap off they well rap anyway car not delivered back tell 6:30 called them no answering for an hour people be aware don't book them even if it's free full service or whatever

Excellent service .kept informed of progress.Good to have collection and delivered back.Have used serviceingstop several times now all good.
