I pre ordered Harry Potter a year last Novemeber (Nov 2021) for a Xmas present for my son. When the game came out (10th Feb 2023) I heard nothing I have emailed them 6 times since I ordered this game to see where it was and nothing!
Trading Standards will be my next call, these people should be reported.

Had no previous issues with in stock games but they have really screwed up on a pre-order with me.

Ordered 3 games back in spring last year, the one that was in stock was shipped straight away yet I am still waiting for the game released in October as well as the one released in December.

I raised this issue beginning of December and had to chase them for a reply in January only for them to reply that they aren't currently around?
Not taking responsibility, zero customer service, I would suggest taking your business elsewhere.

Really, really unsatisfactory communication skills. Customer service response got slower and slower until they just stopped replying completely.

A game was advertised for pre-order. I placed the order, money was taken out of my bank account then later that day I received an email saying it had been cancelled due to insufficient stock.
The money was returned to my account within a day but in the meantime on the same day, the same item was listed as available again.

Delayed response, total ignorance about the issue, kept bouncing me around the slowest possible, ad infested website. Couldn't solve my problem. Very bad experience.

Pre-ordered a game and received it a day before the release date. Perfect.

Took a few days to arrive but worth the wait.

Not really got a bad word to say about them. I dont like paying delivery charges, but in this climate I accept it.

Excellent. Surfshark was cheaper through them and simply required putting the key supplied into the downloaded software. Would use again.

Amazing company. Their site is easy enough to navigate. They offer discounts for NHS/care industry workers. They posted my order out insanely quickly. I actually got my pre-order of Klonoa a day before it's release date which was awesome.

Ordered a PS5 when the new stock dropped, expecting it to take 2-3 weeks to arrive, and it came incredibly quickly. Was worried it would all be too good to be true, as the pack had so many games with it, but it was all there and I was delighted. Would order from them again.

I ordered a game on pre-order last year, but successfully cancelled it prior to release (confirmed by email at the time by the company itself) . However, Gamebyte still delivered the item and took full payment for it.

This was in February (i.e. almost 6 months ago) and I've been chasing my refund and asking how I can return the game on a virtually weekly basis ever since. Gamebyte blame PayPal (who I made the initial pre-order through), but as my contract of sale is with Gamebyte itself they remain legally liable for the refund, not PayPal. Adding insult to injury, Gamebyte also expect me to pay for return postage.

It goes without saying that I will never use this company again and would advise others to avoid it too.

Hopefully someone from the company will read this review - if anyone is actually listening then my order number is GBUK4074. Please sort this out.

Always excellent great deals for pre orders often can save a few quid and have the title on release day

Good price for the game and extremely fast delivery

Chose GameByte because of promised next-day shipment. Ordered Saturday morning. Received late Wednesday, which was too late to use as a birthday gift. Could be a Royal Mail issue but still disappointing and expensive mistake.
