I had ordered a PC digital game from them, it's coming to a week and I still haven't received the game yet, after placing the order I received two emails, one to confirm the order and the other to state that the order was sent, I got in touch with them 24 hours later, and received and email from Ella and she said she was going to chase this up, this was on the 11th of May 2022 and today it's the 16th of May 2022 and still nothing, I've now gone through PayPal to either obtain the game or obtain a refund, it's a shame I've ordered an item before and had received it, but that was a physical game and not a digital one. Hope this can be resolved.

Weeks after placing the order…..no product, no contact…no service. Still waiting. Thus far a really poor experience.

I ordered a PC game which is for digital download. I checked on their Q&A page. It stated that the download code will be instantly sent to email. However, I find nothing from the inbox and junk box. I sent email to the customer service but no one reply!! It just like a scam!! Please reply the email and send me the code!! Otherwise please refund !!

I was really impressed as found the Fortnite limited edition Switch controls way cheaper here than anywhere else. (They were the price as the normal controls in a well know gaming shop.) They came in a couple of days just in time for my sons birthday. He was a very happy boy. Thank you

Been looking for Ghostwire Tokyo on the Playstation 5 for a goodo price ( as I refuse to pay £60 as is the case everywhere) so I was surprised to find it for sale at £37 on Gamebyte!
Now I've not shopped here before and so I admit the reviews did put me off as many complain of the incorrect items arriving or none being sent at all and so I was a little unsure as I placed my order for the game plus Mechawarrior 5 yesterday morning.
Surprisingly enough, just after lunch I was advised of the items being posted and the tracking was supplied that evening which showed a package was indeed on its way to me.
Lo-and-behold a package arrived today and it did indeed contain both games, brand new and as promised in a well-packaged cardboard envelope.
So as far as 1st orders go I am pleased to say this was nothing short of excellent.

Ordered a wireless black shark v2 PRO, I had no email confirmation whatsoever of my order I am currently waiting for a response and the company was very quick to take my money but I promise this, I'll get that money back and you can take your product back seeing as most of your reviews are similarly constructed on each of the products you supply looks like this company has a few paid or fake reviews being posted, STAY CLEAR.

Ordered GT7 on Tuesday before 2pm. Their site claims all orders before 2pm are despatched same day and usually received within 1-2 days. It's now Saturday and I haven't even had a despatch confirmation yet. Emailed on Thursday afternoon and had zero response.
Update: contacted again on the Monday to request a refund and customer service confirmed it hadn't been despatched yet and processed the refund. Ordered elsewhere.

I preordered a copy of lego Star Wars the skywalker saga, I had issues with receiving a sketchy email from someone pretending to be Royal Mail. The reply only came after I had received my game however it was so nice to read as had my whole experience been. For the price I have paid I have got double what I expected in terms of customer satisfaction and I will 100% be ordering from here again :)

I ordered the wrong version of the game, emailed to request cancellation which was done the same day, and they gave me a link to the right one. It arrived the day before release. Perfect customer service.

Having an absolutely horrendous experience with these guys at the moment.
I purchased a PS5 bundle for £800 last week, which included a whole load of stuff I didn’t really need or want, but given the scarcity of these machines at the moment I decided to go ahead and take the plunge. Wasn’t 100% sure that they were completely reputable but having been on their email mailing list for a while, and seeing some positive trustpilot reviews, I went ahead - what a mistake.
The console and games did arrive the following day, and I got it all home that evening looking forward to enjoying it.
I plugged it all in, managed to play for about 20 mins before the whole thing made an awful noise, crashed and wouldn’t turn back on. Have been trying to reboot and troubleshoot but despite trying everything, several days later I am left with a machine that is quite genuinely completely useless; beeps but doesn’t boot up, totally non-functional, an £800 door-stop. Listen, complex electronic devices can be temperamental sometimes, these things happen, but the way they have handled (or not!) my issue s what’s made me so furious.

- I tried to reach out to GameByte via their website that evening via the submit a query tab - no response.
- Sent them a lengthy email the following day detailing exactly what had happened and asking for help - no response, not even an acknowledgment that they’d received my email and were looking into it.
- Sent a follow up several days later - you guessed it, no response.

It’s now been a week since I ordered it and I have heard nothing back from them whatsoever. They have no telephone number (which should always serve as a warning for anyone buying high ticket goods online!), they aren’t responding to any of my emails, and I am left having paid for a useless machine, and having to lodge a complaint and challenge with my card provider on the basis they have supplied me with a faulty device. I am not convinced that they weren’t fully aware the device was dodgy when they shipped it, and that the whole thing is a complete scam to rid themselves of a bunch of sketchy machines.

Had they responded in the first place, shown that they gave even the slightest toss about the situation and their customers, and had helped me try to resolve it I would not be writing this. But their complete and total lack of care of customer service, and the fact they think they can just take peoples money and then fob them off with complete stone-wall silence, has made it one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had.

Let’s see if they do ANYTHING to remedy the situation (GameByte you have my details), in which case I will amend this review but the current situation is an absolute shambles…….

Absolutely awful company.
Do not waste your money, I returned an item and they have simply just stole it. I sent it special delivery and it is shown as signed for but they're claiming they didn't receive it.

They haven't responded to me in 20 days now and I'm down £112 because of it.

Save your money and shop elsewhere!

Honestly customer service is terrible I've emailed them like 5 times and they literally just egnore you so if you want to know things they just egnore you

Excellent prices, delivery times and information Will definitely use again in the future
