Return Policy and claimed return process does not work. Beware!!
I have requested a return for Boldr Klima units and have fulfilled the requirements of taking pictures of the devices and recieving confirmation on the return. I was provided an address in Lithuania which ended up costing $150 AUD to send. Lithuanian customs has requested from Boldr to claim the parcel and confirm receipt details (all details on the package as required) but the team has not responded or followed up. I have sent multiple request for a follow up to support emails and keep getting the run around that the fulfilment team is working on it or something similar. I tried contacting customs control but they are unable to speak to anyone but the registered recipient and cannot provide an update on whether it will be sent back to my return address. What a run around with support team not helping at all!! It has now been over a month and have started to not even receive responses from the support team. I have all the email chains with support team member Sam & Maverick.
Couldn't be happier
My small bathroom had no heat. The steady temp. ranged from 58 to 61 degrees, and it was like showering in an igloo. Because I didn’t want an electrical cord draped around the room, I installed a GFCI outlet in to a recessed electrical box, like one might use for a television wall-mount installation. This enabled the excess cord to stay safely out of sight in the wall void behind the unit. Customer support was very helpful with my various questions; their call-backs were prompt, the tech supporters were pleasant, knowledgeable, and communicated clearly. My new best friend Kelvin, with its quiet and surprisingly inconspicuous presence, has turned my igloo into a most welcoming space. I truly couldn’t be happier.

What a great way to heat a room. What a great alternative to an electric space heater. Ordered for my apartment because the heating system is older and my apt is so small it just always smelled like gas. Ordered this for my bedroom/bathroom and it is doing a wonderful job. The install is relatively easy (I did it myself), template is amazing but getting heater on wall screws just took a little blind adjusting and a little patience. The initial phone set up was a tiny bit confusing with the instructions provided as was not sure which exact model I had (names were different) but once everything was activated on my phone (wifi/bluetooth) and figured out which component listed to choose, it was immediate. This is a great heater, totally worth it.
The kelvin heater requires app access…
The kelvin heater requires app access to turn on which is super frustrating when the app never connects to my wifi. After 1 year it's only connected to the app once which means that I've only used the heater once. Terrible customer support and a terrible product.
Seems effective so far. We are happy to feel the warmth.
The back of our house has been cold every winter. These heaters placed strategically have definitely helped keep this area warmer and more comfortable. The forced air heat seems to be coming on a bit less frequently now too.

Better than Expected
The product is nicer than I expected - it heats up quickly and provided a gentle warmth in a small bathroom with a poorly insulated external wall.
Delivery was slightly delayed but customer service responded quickly.
Incredibly bad experience with Boldr
Incredibly bad experience with Boldr. If you’re on a mobile phone you’ll note that the product page for the Kelvin has a "30 Day Money Back Guarantee” icon present. Great, right? Then I went to their returns page just to be safe. The returns policy paragraph states "
If you receive your order and are not satisfied for any reason you can request a refund within 30 days of receiving the order. “
The Kelvin didn’t work out for us and when I emailed to return it I was shocked to be told that there was a $60 re-stocking fee, that I needed to take photos of all of the product elements and the packaging before they would send me a return label. I pointed out the misleading statements on their website, asked for an escalation. I was repeatedly told no and that the $60 was non negotiable but they “would take my feedback into consideration.” I finally told them I would file a chargeback for misleading business practices/return policy, leave a negative review and they still said no. So here I am. Will never buy from this company again purely based off principle.

We were thrilled to install the BOLDR Kelvin Infrared Heater......... the wifi connect was very challenging and would have appreciated more detailed directions, however, we did connect with customer service and they were super helpful. It was a super frustrating afternoon, but all is forgotten now, because this is AWESOME! We run a yoga studio with two shalas, and we are known as being the hottest studio in town. I really wanted to expand our other offerings in the other room and the Kelvin Heater has created an inviting and efficient space without using small space heaters. The room set up is better - looks super clean and the fact that I can turn it on remotely when I leave the house is MAGIC!!! Our classes in that room are expanding and it has provided us with more options to grow. The install video by Taddy Digest was what got my attention - your website is excellent - just improve those directions to get it going and synched to the thermostat.

As a mom and homeowner, the Boldr Klima Smart Thermostat has been amazing for our family. It not only lets me monitor energy use and AC performance, it lets me set smart automations, create comfort zones. making our home super comfortable and efficient.
The customer support team is incredibly friendly and professional with quick responses that always help. Highly recommended for busy households.
Boldr Klima for Mini Splits
The Boldr Smart Thermostat has been fantastic. It performs reliably, helps me easily track my AC performance, and the automations mean I always come home to a perfectly pre-heated or cooled house. On top of that, customer service is second to none with super fast response times and a very professional attitude. Highly recommended!!!

Just what I needed!
In my 115-year-old home, the master bath is not insulated. The pipes freeze in the winter, and so do I. Well, not anymore. Kelvin fits perfectly and works like a charm.
Very expensive, but just ok heater paired with a broken app.
The heater is attractive and I did not have any issues setting up the technology/connecting to the app. It does not adequately heat the space that I got it for and the app is trash. In retrospect, it is a pretty low powered heater at only 450w, so I should not have been surprised. I can have it set to 68-70 for several hours and the room will only be 64 degrees. Admittedly it is an oddly comfortable feeling 64 degrees. It’s not a fast warmth though and does take a while unless I’m standing directly in front of it. Fairly disappointed because I had to rearrange my room and put holes in my wall in order to set this up. In addition, reviews suggest it’s not really returnable without significant cost. I feel like I sunk a lot of money into something that is very limited and should have gotten a less expensive heater.
I was able to connect to the app easily enough. I can turn the heater on and off. The included thermometer took several hours to get the temp right when compared to two others set up in the room. The humidity measures have been off by 10%+ and there doesn’t seem to be a way to adjust that. The app itself doesn’t allow me to connect to google, setup automations, or even contact customer support without breaking and closing. It really only allows me to use the basic function, again, making it just not worth the price. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and it is fully updated.
There are cheaper, stronger heaters with app connectivity and remote backups that don’t require that you mount it on a wall. Maybe consider those instead.

Overall very pleased with the ease of installation and setup process. The unit has really taken the bite out of a drafty bathroom following a major remodel. The sleek style doesn’t look out of place. I had one small challenge setting up the app initially but a quick chat with customer support via the app had me up and running in minutes.

I have had less expensive panels in the past. Worked fine, but much less attractive than the Kelvins I recently purchased. These are heavy, so support them well when hanging. Before mine was hanging, the new dog tore through the kitchen, knocking the panel flat to the floor. I was hesitant to lift what I thought would be a brand new shattered panel. Nope! All fine. So they are durable as well as nice looking. And there’s nothing so nice as to feel the warmth radiating from the panel when you’re chilled coming in from the Indianapolis -3*F! Remarkably fast shipping, too.

We have been using our Kelvin in the Master Bath for nearly 2 years. It provides an excellent source of radiated heat in the room for when we wake up, as we like to sleep in cool temperatures and that room was cold before we got Kelvin. Set up is easy and the app is easy to use and provides tons of flexibility for scheduling, and general operation. We love it!
