I visited the storage at 8th May, the staff (Keri-Ann) is really responsible and nice, showing different size of storage to us and telling us the exact dimensions. it’s REALLY NICE experience and I’ll order a storage later.

Just taken a space at Shurgard and moved from Yellow Storage. Kev was really helpful in giving us the information we needed. Outstanding service and even 40% discount on 10 boxes. Thanks Kev, great service and really knowledgable. We we offered to be able to move into a bigger room for free which was fantastic.

I have rented a storage unit today and was welcomed by Ahmed and Kev. They were very helpful with telling me all th3 information. I was shown to my Unit and the place was very clean and tidy. The team there are absolutely fantastic and made the whole process seamless. I dont nornally leave any reviews but thw team here earned a well deserved 5 stars. I will be returning next weekend and will make a.donation to their affiliated Charity. Thank you team

We rent a storage unit - unfortunately the app is very tempermental.

Online (google etc) the business is listed as open 7am-9pm every day, however while unloading a large van the lifts all shut down at 8pm with no warning. No staff were present and the number left on the door did not get answered - same for the emergency under the pad. Luckily a security guard happened to pass by, or we would of have had to leave our storage unit unlocked and come back with the rest of our items the next day. If the place is listed as open till 9pm please note you cannot access it after 8 and it is not staffed.

I booked my unit online which was easy enough but the real five star experience started when I actually showed up at the site. I ran into a few challenges at the gate and was feeling pretty stuck but Ahmed and Kev stepped in and sorted everything out immediately. I was also a bit confused with how to actually fit the lock to the unit and they did not hesitate to help me get it sorted properly. Nothing was too much effort for them and they handled the whole thing with such a positive and supportive attitude. You can tell they really take pride in the place because the whole store is incredibly clean and well looked after. It is rare to find staff this friendly and genuinely willing to help when things do not go perfectly. Ahmed and Kev are massive assets to Shurgard and honestly represent the best of the company. If you want a stress free experience go to this location because these guys are absolute legends and deserve some serious recognition for how they treat their customers.

Better value for money than competitors and it’s so easy to use and access

Over the past few months, my partner and I had a storage rental with Shurgard. At first, we were dealing with a manager at the Gypsy Corner branch, named Hamed (or something similar). Unfortunately, our experience with him was very disappointing.

The information he provided was often unclear or incorrect, and whenever we needed help, he didn’t seem interested in solving the issues. Even for simple things, like a light not working, the answer was always “we have to wait for the service,” and nothing ever got done.

We also had the clear impression that his main focus was just to charge as much as possible, rather than genuinely helping customers.

Thankfully, after we changed our contract, we were assisted by Martin from the central office — an excellent person: professional, helpful, and transparent. Everything went smoothly with him.

In conclusion, Shurgard as a company is fine, but I strongly advise against dealing with the manager at the Gypsy Corner branch, as our experience with him was extremely disappointing.

Nice app setup with a very smooth check-in and check-out process. Just one thing to note: a 15-day notice is required before check-out. Everything else including CS and the cleanliness are nice!

Very easy process totally contactless.

Helpful staff and spacious rooms. Found it to be cheaper than other storages. Especially helpful to have an app to open and lock lifts/gates.

Their terms and conditions says that the price stays unchanged for 6 months and they would announce within 30 days any price increases.

After 4 months they increase by £59 per month and they send me this as an invoice 6 days prior to the billing date. I emailed Gypsy Corner to amend this as per their terms and conditions and also announced my cancellation of service with them.

Before this they failled to announce me that they introduced an app in order to access the storage and to use the app you need a tolken which I had no clue where to get it from, in order to access my storage unit.

Many emails and calls had to be done to learn how to access the goods and now they have a short notice for price increases shorty after this event. Outrageous company!
