Diminishing the services we were sold. The company decided to take away unlimited sms that was included when purchased and have now limited it to just 50 sms messages. When they were questioned about it the banned people from their message boards so it couldn’t be discussed. Look elsewhere for a trust worthy company.

The app of SIZZAPP works great. Now I can say that my motorcycle is safe. Thank you guys for your great job.

I've had my unit running for almost a year now and it has been very reliable on sending me notifications of any movement. In fact it is perhaps a bit over zealous with the motion detections, although occasionally I won't get the notification until 5 minutes after I set off. I had a Datatool tracker on a previous bike and found myself wishing the Sizzapp had the similar feature where it wouldn't alert movement if I had the fob near the bike, I think this is in development for Sizzapp using bluetooth on the phone.

I've had one detection of a crash but I didn't crash, not even had to brake very hard but that isn't a huge issue to have in the almost-year I've had it. Always seems very accurate with the location and the battery information is handy as well, especially while I was away on holiday and left my baby all by itself.

Not long ago they added some features, one of which was the ability to share location which I really like as hubby and I can share to eachother. This is handy for preparing for eachother getting home or if we're not sure where the other is, to keep ourselves safe.

A more recent update however hasn't been met with such joy because they have now placed a limit on how many text messages we get to notify of the bike's movement. It left me in a predicament where I wouldn't have enough allowance to cover the volume of notifications I receive, as I said at the start of my review, it is quite over zealous. This meant I had to turn off SMS and use push notifications for movement and thanks to iOS 17, those notifications are too quiet to be useful. I have to say I feel let down that they've introduced this limit as it was marketed as unlimited and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth about the company. I don't think they tested it on iOS17 as I like to think they would have introduced some mitigating settings (audible notifications) before removing the unlimited texts.

I wanted to join their Facebook group to keep up to date with any developments that might help with the situation but kept being refused and I could only guess it was down to my husband's interaction with them which they found difficult to handle as he had a lot of questions and for that, they blocked him from the group. I'd been told to contact them via email and at first they were replying and saying they'll get it sorted, only to be declined again the next day. Eventually they stopped trying to help and my emails for support went unanswered. Their customer service could benefit from some training for this aspect. I emailed support for the push notifications not making any sound and did find that to be responsive and finally we got to the root of the issue (turned out there would be no notification sound if I used the notification test from within the app).

If you do go for this device, make sure you are informed on which key features you need vs the possibility of them being revoked at some stage. I'm still overall happy with the product as it does still track and I do get notifications albeit quiet and I was told a month ago there could be an in-app notification setting coming which will solve all the issues there. Hopefully not much longer.

This tracker is very helpfull to be more relaxing when you parking you motorbike!

Sizzapp was a great product until they limited SMS notifications. At the time of this review sizzapp will only send up to 50 SMS and 50 phone calls per month. Not only that they claim that if you don't respond to the call it won't be counted. But in my testing I found that even if I do not respond to the phone call it still is counted towards the quota.

Push notifications are the only unlimited item but due to how phone operating systems work they don't always show up instantly. Plus some systems you can't customize the push notifications. I don't want to find out my bike got stolen a hour later.

When I bought this over a year ago SMS notifications were unlimited so I never had to be concerned about missed alarms. I'm pretty sure sizzapp is having to tighten their budget so they figure to limit the SMS. I do understand that but they could have at least offered an unlimited SMS plan for an extra fee. Or even allow customers to buy, say, 50 more messages for $10 per month.

Not only that when they announced this limitation in their private facebook group they blocked two members. Mathew Enfield is one of the blocked members, which shocks me because he was one of their biggest advocates. He even posted a positive review on his own website years ago. Now he has to update the review to not recommend the product.

I also found another reviewer is not recommending sizzapp too. Google Bike Social Sizzapp and you'll find it.

I wish I didn't have to post this negative review and I would only be willing to change to a positive if they do the following:

* Allow unlimited SMS for an extra fee
* Allow free communication in their private facebook group. Don't block members simply for asking a valid question

I really hope Sizzapp resolves the issues as this is the only GPS tracker product I liked.

Device turned up quickly and as soon as I connected to bike it went live. No hassle at all. The amount of information it gives is for nominal. I cant recommend enough. Fantastic

Been a long time user of their product, back in the 3g version days and have been happy until now.

The latest update now moves away from SMS/TXT notifications and more to the new Call Feature they advertised, but they are limiting these features. Now instead of unlimited SMS/TXT notifications we are restricted to just 50 now, and if you go over this limit you lose that feature and will no longer get notified by this means.

When asked about why they limiting this on customers they just try to get you to use the Call Feature instead, after speaking to others it seems its a cost cutting solution, and again when asked if this is true they respond with the average user only uses 10-15 SMS a month, but if that was the case why are they adding a limit then in the first place, and again when I asked this question they blocked me from there support FB group.

I have tried to email them to get support as my SMS count is going down even when I am not getting a message, I am guessing a bug in the new update but as they will not respond to me and block my account I no longer have support for my product.

I can only advise others to avoid this product as if a company blocks a customer for asking for support then its clear that they are a unprofessional company that will not honour there customers previous terms of service.

Being a UK owner legal action we can take via small claims court as it not fir for purpose now. I have now heard others are having the same issue so its now a bigger concern that the company maybe going bust.

Shame as it was one of the better system out there, but i guess the cost of the older SMS feature was a large cost and they now want customers to use the newer Call feature which again is limited to 50 a month, but they recommend to there customer base to not answer the phone when it calls so it wont take you over the limit were are now given. I am guessing this is another way to cut costs there end.

I have emailed them but no respond, and now others have come forward to me with concerns.

Installed their motorbike tracker roughly a month (~2200 Km) ago and so far it works great.
Rolling the bike out of my gerage, is enough to trigger the "unauthorized movement" message.
GPS location is pretty accurate as well and its nice to get a notification, if the battery goes out.

The app is great; however, it does not give you the exact location of your vehicle. The map location it shows are old. As others pointed out, the manual is a bit lame. I park my bike in a garage and when I look for it, it shows it to be on the other side of the building, about 600 feet or so and the picture is of a different building. I am assuming it gives you a vicinity but not the exact location. If anyone knows how to get the exact position, please advise and I will change my rating. It is good that you do not need to pay any annual fees. Hopefully, if there are new updates there will not be any fees either.

I found my vehicle the next morning. The only disadvantage, it does not connect with Google Smart Home. That would allow me to connect it to my alarm system. Unfortunately I was sleeping and took notice the next morning. Had they already started the dismantling it would have been a bad experience....

So far so good. Very nice app, provides alot of information about your ride. The real time sharing is great so family members won't be so worried lol. Easy install. And the fact that you don't need a subscription is top notch. I've only had it for a day, but I'll be shocked if sizzapp doesn't knock the competition off the shelf. I live in Quebec (CAN) and sizzapp was the only tracker that I found that works worldwide. Thank you 😊
