Hi Julie, we're truly sorry your experience left you this frustrated. We never want any customer to feel stuck or misled.

To be transparent: we're a small brand and our return warehouse is currently in China, which means international return shipping is at the customer's cost — we know this isn't ideal, and we're actively working on setting up a US return facility to make this much easier. When we offered a partial refund so you could keep the item instead of paying costly return shipping, it was meant as a convenience, not a scam — we didn't want you to spend more on postage than the item was worth.

We'd love to make this right for you privately. Could you send us a DM or email at contact@slomra.com with your order number? We'll find a solution that works for you.

We just want to gently clarify one point for anyone reading this review: when you contacted us about the return, we did provide a return-and-refund option. Since the return was not related to a defective or incorrect item, the return shipping cost would need to be covered by the customer. We understand that you ultimately decided not to return the items because of the shipping cost.

We’re truly sorry that this made you feel that you couldn’t get your money back. That was never our intention. We do process refunds for eligible returned items once they are received and inspected according to our return policy.

We’re a small family-run business, and international return shipping is unfortunately a significant cost for us as well. We understand that this policy may not be ideal for every customer, but we always try to be transparent about the process and provide customers with their available options.
