You may be disappointed or worse
On September 7th 2024 I placed a £839 order for a TV - 'the last one of that model'. The company uses a "Specialist" delivery company and after 5 days, (Yes, 5!) the TV was allegedly dispatched. I contacted the company on the 17th, 18th and 23rd asking where the delivery was. On September 23rd, I was told that it had been "quarantined" at the delivery depot due to damage - hard to believe but OK. I was told that I could wait for new stock, select an alternative or have a refund. I immediately checked their website and strangely enough, the exact same model was now in stock again but around £150 more expensive. I requested the replacement from their current stock. Silence...... I later decided that I did not want to deal with the company any longer and asked for a refund. Silence..... On 28 September I wrote to them again asking where the refund was and gave them 7 days to complete the refund. Silence.... On October 4th I raised a dispute with the Credit card company and 3 days later the refund arrived - along with a story about the payment "failed" the previous week. I do not believe any of the stories given - but I will retract this review if James cares to provide me with proof. I believe that the company is untrustworthy and I will not deal with them again. You might be lucky - some seem happy if you read and believe their reviews.

Very good price for the TV, a lot cheaper than anywhere else we found. TV is great quality - was brand new on arrival.

I wouldn’t even give this company one star. Please listen to my review and the others on here. This company is a scam. I never received my TV and could not get hold of anyone to find out where it was. No one replied to emails and the chat function does not work. Eventually, after weeks someone got back to me about a refund. It was promised time and time again and I have still never received it! I have now reported this to my bank. Avoid this company at all costs!!!!

Now the company are claiming my review is false!!!!! I can assure you it isn’t! Why would I bother! How about dishing out Amazon vouchers in return for 5 star false reviews!!!!! Scammers!!!!
Avoid! avoid! avoid! Scammers! Bought a TV which never arrived! Complained was asked for more time..which we gave them. Still no TV complained again and requested a refund…which they agreed however never got the refund. Had to report as fraud through the bank.

Scam company. Took my money on an order for 3x Samsung Frame TVs, were very communicative when I enquired about the purchase and have not responded to several messages about delivery. “Live Chat” on the website is nonsense, no phone number. I should know better. Have raised a dispute with my card provider to get my money back.

This is a company I came across while on the hunt for a great TV. The customer service was amazing and because I was Farley close a person from the team came and hand delivered it to. The TV is amazing the price was very fare. I would highly recommend Smart Appliances for your next TV.

Good service
Recently bought a 65 inch TV with Smartappliances. From making an order to delivery to the room of choice it was a good experience for me. The price was great, the shipment and delivery were within the time frame promised. The TV was unwrapped, checked and all the wrapping taken away by. Overall pleased with the purchase and the service provided.

Smart Appliances could not have been more helpful.
They gave me the BEST price that I could find on the internet and although the delivery time was 3-5 days, upon my request they were able to deliver the TV within a couple of days.

EDIT: A response full of excuses blaming the customer. What else do you expect... it's not just me, is it? The TV has been re-wrapped to hide blemishes on the bezel. It is categorically NOT a new TV from liquidated stock as you claim (in smallprint). Oh - and your generous discount was 3%.
As with other reviews, no contact after placing order. Website suggests this will be a new TV with a full 5yr manufacture warranty from Samsung, like another TV I have. Given a ludicrous slot after chasing (7pm-10pm on a Friday) but changed to 3pm-6pm following Tuesday. Two guys finally show up at 7:30pm in the middle of my dinner, unpack the TV, power it up and go. Only later when unwrapping the protective tape do I find the bezel is marked and the Samsung warranty ran out 31Jul24. Nothing but argument from customer service. You are getting a slightly cheaper TV because it's second-hand. Just avoid the hassle and stay away from this company.

The value of the TV is far better than anywhere else. As expected, it was well packaged and in perfect condition on arrival. Though there was some delay with the delivery, when it did arrive, the courier service was efficient with two men transporting, testing this as stipulated. Thank you Smart Appliances.

Some issues with delivery, but after-sales came through and the TV was received in new condition.
Good price worth waiting for
Absolutely the best price online and I’m happy with the TV. However this is not a standard process and you need to be quite patient, responses to emails took longer. Once the date was setup with the courier their website gave a lot of feedback on process. My biggest concern when the TV arrived was that it had been poorly packaged. Even the delivery crew were surprised the TV had hardly any padding around it. If it had not been for the careful handling by the lads damage would have been likely….it’s happened to me before. The TV also came with a lot of fingerprints, perhaps ex-demo, they are slowly coming off. Nevertheless the TV works well and at an amazing price.

DON'T BUY - Smart appliances do not even deserve a 1, if minus ratings were an option they would receive this.
Not sure where to start after chasing for a delivery date they delivered however the TV was damaged in the corner which I did not spot whilst drivers rushed me to sign and there was a mark on the stand - within 30 minutes of delivery I left a chat message with photos - I have sent numerous follow up chat messages and e-mails and after 12 days I have still not had a response other than the automated response of "PLEASE BE PATIENT - we will reply - 24 to 48 HR!! They also state that satisfaction is their top priority and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively - TOTALLY FALSE STATEMENTS.
I wanted to support a small family business but this was a HUGE MISTAKE DON'T DO IT not worth the saving.
In addition to the above my 48 inch TV was delivered in an oversized non branded box.
DON'T BUY!
Can you please share the photos from your drivers as I have shared with you so I can compare. The stand was still wrapped so how could drivers see if this was damaged or not? Can you also explain why you are not responding to my e-mails other than 1 standard automated response that you use for these situations.
