I needed an emergency appointment…
I needed an emergency appointment because a tooth needed coming out and I had an infection. The dentist explained everything that was going to happen and alternatives. The procedure was quick and painless.

Disappointed
The dentist was very nice and friendly.
I made him aware that I'm a nervous patient and he ensured I was relaxed
My issue was that I have always had a scale and polish at the same time as my check up.
This has lasted between 15 / 20 minutes each time.
To be told I need to come back for a deep clean, was rather frustrating especially when informed it would be £60
I just feel that it's suddenly just an opportunity to get more cash out of me which is unfair.
The NHS subsidizes a lot of the money to you and I'm just rather annoyed.

My daughter is Autistic and in a wheelchair. The dentist and dental nurse were very patient and understanding of our issues.

NHS dental service
My husband and I visited a dentist at the Bolton Road Centre as new NHS patients, it's also my first experience with the UK dental service. We arrived ahead of time, but our wait was minimal. Overall, the receptionist was nice, the facility was tidy, and both the dentist and assistant were professional, patient, and friendly. My husband has a more serious issue, the dentist informed us that he needs to have his condition monitored every three months, which is a very reassuring arrangement for us. We are satisfied with the NHS dental service we received.
