domains not working. they practically take your money and give you non functioning domain.

Please don't waste your money with this people. Their servers are always down, ticket support takes time to respond, seem like it's a one man business, webpage takes a long time to respond, webpage often generates the 503 errors, and too many other things that I can't type here. I wish I knew of these, I never would have wasted my money. Transfering a domain to them is taking forever. Just a waste of everything.

Worst place to host your site, don't even try any Nigeria hosting company they are all middle men... useless.

I've had multiple issues ranging from SSL coverage to customer support. Their SSLs don't cover subdomains and the ones that do aren't affordable at all.

Now to the issue of customer support. My tickets take days to be answered. When they are finally answered, the and i have a follow up, there's another long time in between replies.

Their live chat is a joke. A BIG JOKE.

honestly for me, I've only experienced downtime once with them since 2014 that I've been using their service, maybe I've been lucky though... But their customer services can be so frustrating

Smartweb is business killer. They are so incompetent and know close to nothing technically. No one should ever think of doing business with them

These guys are thieves and they are clueless. They don't have professionals at all. Your site takes too long to load cos their server is bad, and your site can be down too. Imagine your site being down? Very terrible! They are Formal thieves. That's what they are. Extremely terrible service. Please DONT CHOOSE THEM. I am seriously begging you. Choose them if you like pain and frustration. Run with your money, they are really not who they say they are. They are both your daymare and nightmare.

PLEASE CHOOSE FOREIGN WEBHOSTING PROVIDERS, NIGERIAN WEBHOSTING PROVIDERS WILL COLLECT YOUR MONEY AND YOU WILL BE BEGGING THM TO MAKE YOUR WEBSITE AVAILABLE, I AM REGRETTING USING THEM AS MY MONEY IS ALREADY WASTED

Downtime is %99.9, I regret hosting on smartweb

I wish there's minus 10 star, I tried to open any site or application I hosted on their server and it's only successful on an average of 1%. That moment you tell the client it's working now, only for the client to check and noticed the server is down again. I thought running away from Utiware Nigeria (which is another terrible option) would solve the problem, they're both disaster. I'll just stick to my foreign server.
NB: My experience here is Windows Hosting. Run if you don't like frustration.

Smartweb Nigeria's service is very poor. domain hosted on their platform could not send or receive mail for days. what is the essence of running 24/7 support without technical personnel on the ground to resolve the issue? I will not advise anyone to use their service.

Smartweb is a hosting company with a nonchalant attitude. The customer support is so poor that you might never get a reply for your support tickets. They indicated 99% as their uptime time. However, your website will be down 70% of the time. I have complained several times but nothing has ever been done about this! They aren't transparent with their hosting packages. You might see big space descriptions in their hosting packages, but in reality you will never get to use it before you keep getting notification that you have run out of disk space.

They don't Support their users when something is going wrong, I bought two domains from them ellobranding.com and naijanation.com.ng and both website no longer work well for my business, and i have been contacting them on this issues since last week but they did nothing to resolve this, I REGRET PARTNERING WITH THEM.
