The appliance does a great job and is sturdy and comfortable. A great alternative to CPAP.

Seemed to be less effective over time. And Max adjustment was no longer enough. Not sur if my jaw adjusted or device did as after a year plus use, id seemed like my jaw was no longer being moved forward like it origionally did.

The device is great. The support from Somnomed on finding a provider in Texas near where we live, has been nearly impossible. I will probably find someone else.

I have been using the same appliance for seven years. It has helped me sleep better with less snoring. I am definitely sleeping better and my wife also sleeps better.

Not sure if is the product or me. In the beginning when I started using SomnoMed, i stopped snoring. This was around 2 months ago. However, my wife said that I have started snoring again & I can feel that I am as well. I have changed the band 3 times to smaller sizes.

Been sleeping with the device for 5+ years. Since I started it been working outstanding. To the point that when I forget to wear it I sleep like I have it on!
In the beginning it was rough and I even had a car accident because I doze off while driving the second day using it. But I kept at it and that night slept the best in years!
The only issue is my mouth still gets dry. So the last thing I do before turning off the lights is rise with dry mouth rise. And again in the middle of the night when I do a RestRoom run! ;)

I had a Somnomed dental device for 5 or 6 years until I lost it on vacation. I loved this device as it worked perfectly for me. I slept well every night and woke up rested in the morning with no headaches. I have been unable to get a new one as the dentist I was seeing for this retired and I have not been able to find another dentist to see for sleep apnea who provides Somnomed devices.I gave this review only 4 stars because I have been unable to get a new device.

I was fine using my CPAP but I’m young and my doctor didn’t want me using a CPAP machine my whole life. My oral appliance is amazing and I am so grateful I have it. In fact, this is my second SomnoMed. I specifically asked for this kind again and thank goodness insurance covered this kind. Otherwise I would’ve figured something out to get it again because I sleep so well with it. I also have to take meds in the middle of the night so I prefer having two separate pieces to my oral appliance so I can easily drink water. I also love that it is easy to travel with (so much easier than a CPAP).

I have been using the SomnoMed Avant for 4 months and it has been brilliant. I was diagnosed with mild to moderate sleep apnea and snored quite often. My dentist (Best St Dental) recommended the oral device and it was perfect from day one. The support of my dentist was excellent and they made the process very easy.
I love the portability of the device and the positive effect it has had on my sleep. I don’t like sleeping without it.
It fits perfectly and it took very little time to adjust to. Very easy to clean and maintain. My wife is also extremely happy which is fantastic.
Highly recommend!!

I feel its a great alternative for the C pap machine its so comfortable, the appliances fit so well. The dentist visit was so well organized, the dental technician was so skilled in the use of the instrument, and the visit was not long at all. A short time later and the appliances arrived and I picked them up and the visit was wonderful.

I have found it difficult to communicate with your company, for example beging able to talk with a representative to find out about Medicare coverage for replacement devices that fall apart.
I am using my second appliance after being told by my dentist the original unit looked like it was wearing out after about 18 months of usage. I still have the old one which I sometimes use.

I can not find a provider in Florida to get a new set. The provider that was on your list wanted to put crowns on my teeth the fix the bite problem my previous device caused.
All I use it for is a bite guard while I wear my CPAP mask and machine.

This company is totally unresponsive. I have sent numerous email messages for assistance and never once did I receive a response. I would never provide a recommendation for SomnoMed to anyone looking for a device to help with sleep apnea.
I only gave one star because I couldn’t give zero stars for this company.

Customer service is useless. No one answers phones or returns messages. I have 4 times 9/11/24, 12/13/24, 1/3/25, 2/4/25 done the “request a provider” through website filling out ALL information and only received auto reply back no call or follow up.
For having such an amazing product they sure have no interest in keeping customers or getting referrals

I've worn the device for several years with great success, and would like to obtain a new one soon. My wife doesn't complain any longer to the point of me not having sleep in another room, as I had in the past.
