I bought three casks from this company three years ago, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Not only did they handle everything professionally from start to finish, but the casks have now sold out in the market, delivering a very healthy profit..

This has been one of my best alternative investments to date. The returns have beaten my expectations, and the quality of the whisky itself is exceptional.

Amazing company all round. Already looking forward to their next distillery tour — I’ll definitely be getting involved again!

Everyone connected is very knowledgeable about the business, the process and everyone always takes time to explain things. A really easy company to do business with. A pleasure when they ring up, always the calls are scheduled to fit in to your busy life. I knew nothing about whiskey before, the company guide you the whole way through it.

From first contact to final goal everything was made easy ,all questions answered , no hard sell they give you the figures and let you decide. Super friendly company , our company contact was Taylor who was amazing spent alot of time with us through the whole process.

Tom is a very experienced investor.

He is extremely pleasant, professional and knowledgeable.

He gave me detailed information about the whiskey investment, ( even though I asked him a plethora of questions about it!!) he was patient and congenial. He has consistently kept me up to speed about the investment, and ways of maximising profits from it.

Purchased a couple of cases from Starling a month ago. Haven't used the company before but wanted a change from my previous broker. Paul was very helpful and got everything in order efficiently and hassle free. Would recommend.

I bought a few cases of wine from Starling in 2021 and for the last few months they have totally ignored my multiple emails (to various email addresses of them I have on file) on how to deliver them. I thought they had gone bankrupt but on here it seems they are still in business so this is just terrible customer service and I don't know what else I have to do to even get the wine I bought.

UPDATE: The company reached out to me presumably after seeing my review and have shipped my wine at no additional charge, which is appreciated. I hope this incident doesn't happen to other customers in the future.

As a new investor far more used to wine in bottles it has been a great experience learning about whiskey casks and working with Colin Goodman of Starling
I feel that I have made several careful investments which will pay well when I decide to sell Also, I am confident that we will arrange a profitable exit in due course

I ordered the Brochure through their webiste as advertised only to get a call saying they dont send Brochure any more. Misled from the very begining so had no reason to move forward with this company.

Where do I start.
Firstly, it was a new venture for me in terms of investing in whiskey barrels, something I went into carefully.
I have been looked after closely all along my new investment process via Eamon O’Donnell.
He has made me feel at ease with continuous update via email, personal phone calls, certificate and photos of my investments.
I have now in the last 12 months purchased three barrels of whiskey and listened to the advise given along my journey via Eamon who has a wealth of knowledge and puts the customer first with no pushy sales tactics.
I would like to specially thank Eamon and if anyone wants to chat with me about my experience with Starling Wines and Sprits I am pleased to do so. Mobile would be available if needed via Eamon.

I have just invested in a Cask and I am a difficult type of customer that wants all the information and to feel secure about what I am doing with my investment funds. Tom, That's Tom Mead was exceptional in his service and answered all my questions, even though I was probably very frustrating at times and not returning his calls quickly. He knows and understand this business. Also a mention for Stephanie who was my first point of contact, for explaining the concept so well.

I had unsatisfactory dealings with this company and I left a negative 1* review here on TRUST PILOT. As a result of that the company contacted me with an offer of better service. I am waiting for all the necessary actions to be taken. In view of that I will amend my review to 3* - for the time being. I will amend my review further in a few weeks time.

I had been considering buying into whiskey as an investment for quite some time. Matthew at Starling Wines & Spirits was suburb through out the process and made it very easy, his customer service and knowledge of the market is fantastic. I would highly recommend Starling and Matthew.

Everyone has been great, I ask a lot of questions and they were all answered for me, visiting Ireland soon cannot wait

I ordered my wine in October 2023 and still have not received delivery. Phone is not answered and multiple emails remain unanswered also.

Update - Spoke to Paul who got it sorted straight away, recovered their reputation somewhat. Thanks Paul.
